The staff here are so amazing. They are all very friendly and always go above and beyond with there customer service. We have purchased fish, budgies and most recently a kitten from this store. Keep up the great work!

Large store with good variety of items. However this store is very expensive! All products are about 20% higher than other stores. Staff are nice but almost hostile when asked to price match, almost like the store teaches them make the experience of price matching as hard and frustrating as possible. I would not recommend shopping here. Easier and more enjoyable to order online and even with shipping ( if it’s not free) you will save money.

Not happy with my service today that I received from Carl. I went to purchase my items at the checkout and he wanted to argue with me about one of our two fighter fish being $2 more than the other explaining that they are two different types of fighter fish even though he had advertised them at the same price saying he can get me another fish. I ended up saying it’s false advertising and he kept trying to blame the other worker because it’s his first day on the job and he should have informed me of price (contradicting price advertised). I can not believe he was arguing over $2 and blaming someone else when I was spending over $140 in store. I’ve never experienced this before at Best Friends where I have been a loyal customer for over 8 years. Certainly will not be a customer anymore I will not waist my effort driving 30mins when I can go to Pet Barn just down the road.

Staff are absolutely lovely . It's the price match policy that really needs an overhaul . Having to factor in shipping to be able to price match is ridiculous! There's no point even price matching then because it puts it almost as the same cost in store which defeats the point!. Other pet retailers don't do this so I think next time ill be shopping around elsewhere unfortunately.

Tajah from grooming and the whole retail team went above and beyond to complete a much needed nail clip for my dog Pippi. Pippi struggles with anxiety during clipping but the team gave her the most amazing love, reassurance and support to give her the best experience possible. Thank you so much! Highly recommend them for genuine passion for animals, service and product knowledge.

Worst store ever worst shopping experience and WORST customer service from two women on 4th June. Do not shop here. Shop online or choose Petbarn or another best friends NOT this one.

Shop around before visiting. Prices are much higher than competitors. Paying $44 here as a member and went to another pet store and paid $32 for the same product.

The staff here are amazing. It was my dog’s birthday and the staff made her feel like she was worth a million dollars and gave her some yummy treats. We will be back to your store just for the staff interaction alone. Thank you so very much. We are beyond happy with your customer service.

The customer service here was second to none! We were directed immediately to the product we requested & searched to no avail and the lady who assisted us on the checkout, was extremely helpful with advice on our Budgies and Cage situation. The reason I am reviewing is we did not receive the same help at the Petbarn. We purchased the black seed / Cage protector and Yellow calcium perch, seen in photo.

Great friendly staff, huge range of products and services! Very accommodating to your needs, would reccomend the puppy school and Our Vet complete care annual wellness plan! My dog is 7months now and has been taken care of here since he was 8 weeks and absolutely loves it 😊

DO NOT USE THE GROOMERS! Aggressive, condescending and belittling to pet owners are just some of the words regarding their grooming manager. I've been a long-term customer of best friends and used best friends grooming at other locations, and never have I ever experienced such appalling behaviour. It appears I am not the only person to have experienced this as per other reviews. Such a significantly negative interaction with the manager was had by simply bringing my dogs in and describing what style I wanted left me with an aggressive manager, such to the point I did NOT FEEL SAFE TO LEAVE MY PETS IN THEIR CARE. I strongly recommend you DO NOT USE THE GROOMERS at this location. Best of luck to those that dare.

I took my 10 year old little dog there. Vet was 20 minutes late with no apology. He has never seen her before and wasn’t interested in her history at all. I found him rude, argumentative and condescending. He wants to see her again in 10 days time. HE WON’T BE. Don’t take your beloved pets to Dr Brown. I will be finding another vet to look after my babies

Great range of most products in this store, we got our old girl a pretty new collar that is excellent quality, it was affordable & the range of tags was great, we were able to get it engraved then and there and the cost of the tag included the engraving. Very haappy & the old girl loves her new collar.

Thank you so much to the staff at Best friends pets! I just took my dog in for a nail trim. His anxiety around nails has been an ongoing drama. I normally take him to the vet but decided to take him here instead after they said he would need to be sedated next time. His nails were done quickly without all the stress and hes happy as anything. Will absolutely be back! Thank you again!
