This honestly feels like a hidden gem. I don’t know how this place wasn’t more packed when we came here on a Saturday morning! The food is amazing, coffee is great, the atmosphere is really chill. The staff are lovely and gave out cupcakes on the house for Christmas. I had the hash cakes which are easily the best I’ve had on the Gold Coast. We’ll definitely be coming back here

Lakeview espresso have the best food and service, staff are very nice and friendly. Food are massive size and yum!

Supreme customer service and absolutely excellent food, really enjoyed coming here so we came back the second day to see if the service was the same being a Sunday. Just as fast and they even remembered us, absolute delight coming here and will be back whenever I’m down from Brisbane ✅ thanks guys

New staff and owners by the looks of things. Prices are a little higher than expected. Service polite but we waited 45 minutes for food with only one other party seated / ordering. When the food arrived it was delicious and the chef came and personally apologised and gave us a complimentary drink each. So I reckon when they hit their stride they’ll do really well.

Really lovely meal and very warm welcome – I'd love to recommend this lovely restaurant and will try to go back again with my dogs. Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. We tried chicken ala cuban toastie and sweet potato & lentils soup. Really nice to spend the time on Sunday lunch here.

Beautiful location, bright and airy space. Super friendly and welcoming staff, quick service. Good range of sweet and savoury breakfast options, but they won’t accept variations to the menu which is quite a shame because there are few selections we were interested in but it has bacon (and we don’t eat bacon). First glance of the price - a bit expensive (food above $20) but given it’s located in Burleigh so I guess that’s the normal range. As soon as our orders ready, the generous portion and great taste justified the price. Really happy with the French Toast and Hash Cakes!

I go to ALOT of cafe’s and this one beats all the rest! Lovely small family owned business. Beautiful staff, great amount of food for great prices, the best coffee.. I come here almost every morning with my partner & dog and we are treated like family.. there’s always pats and treats for domino ❤️ located next to a gorgeous lake with a kids playground and under cover tables and chairs. Please come and support this wonderful cafe 👏🏽

Nice little cafe away from the hustle and bustle. Great food and coffee is on point too. The view of the water make it that much better. Highly recommend.

Ok lets be honest here, this place is the best Cafe in the entire Gold Coast for breakfast. The staff are great and friendly, the kiwi chef is amazing and every meal I've had here is a party in mouth. I've not had a bad meal here and I look forward to their summer menu. Please don't go to this Cafe I don't want it too booked up so I can get a seat when I want to go. 😁

Great coffee and tasty food - thank you. Very happy we came here after initially trying elsewhere which was so busy with a huge wait. It was nice and quiet, fast and friendly service.

*** UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT & ITS GREAT** Food: Absolutely delicious I cannot tell you how happy I was with my meal. Breakfast Bruschetta - Fresh, delicious, home made, well seasoned, well presented. Scrambled Eggs & Bacon - Delicious, hot off the stove, amazing, perfect portion. The chocolate thick shake is DELICIOUS. Like so yum I crave it even now!! Service: The manager name is Al. Very passionate about cuisine and lives for customer interaction and satisfaction. Which I’ve gotta tell ya he will always get from me and my partner. This is a re-write of a previous review for Lakeview. I just couldn’t have it out there knowing just how much the place has improved. Bookings: No bookings you’ll have to just get down there and hope for the best.

This is the best hidden gem on the coast. The staff are all amazingly friendly, the lattes are excellent, and the food is top notch quality. Every time I get a new dish I'm constantly amazed at the chef's creativity and presentation - every dish is stunning (and delicious)! They have a beautiful little assortment of locally made produce and items from the local community, and they have their own little veggie and herb garden that they use for super fresh ingredients in their food. Fab spot!! Our favourite.

A cute little cafe with some nice food. The service was good. The breaky burger and cookie was delish.
