I
am
in
my
50’s
and
was
asked
to
be
a
bridesmaid
by
a
younger
friend.
I
was
both
honored
and
terrified.
My
friend
asked
the
bridesmaids
to
find
dresses
we
liked.
Her
only
stipulation
was
that
the
color
must
be
grey.
How
could
I
find
a
bridesmaid
dress
that
would
be
stylish
but
not
look
as
if
I
was
trying
to
compete
with
the
younger
bridesmaids?
As
I
work
lots
of
hours,
I
did
not
have
time
to
go
shopping
for
a
dress.
Using
the
Internet,
I
found
a
brand
named
Jasmine
Black
Label.
I
live
in
the
Midwest
and
I
could
not
find
a
shop
that
carried
the
brand.
Again,
searching
the
Internet,
I
found
Simone’s
in
Florida.
I
was
skeptical
when
I
called
the
shop
...
I
live
in
the

and

is
located
in
Florida.
Would
the
salesperson
sale
a
gown
to
me
and
be
done
with
me?
What
if
I
needed
fitting
advice?
Did
they
care
that
the
wedding
was
only
weeks
away
and
I
needed
the
dress
quickly?
What
about
the
quality
...
I
was
buying
a
dress
online
without
seeing
it
and
would
have
no
time
to
find
another
dress
if
this
one
was
inferior.
My
fears
were
unfounded.
I
had
an
excellent
experience
with
Simone’s
and
the
costumer
service
was
exceptional!
When
I
first
called,
I
asked
to
speak
with
a
salesperson.
I
was
shocked
when
I
learned
I
was
talking
with
Simone
herself!
Simone
was
very
pleasant
and
asked
many
questions
about
my
needs
and
wants.
I
gave
her
the
code
number
of
the
dress
I
had
found
on
the
Internet
and
she
began
looking
for
it
in
her
inventory.
She
said
she
had
the
dress
in
the
store
but
if
I
needed
a
grey
one,
she
could
order
the
dress.
She
explained
she
would
request
a
“rush
delivery”
on
it
but
it
would
likely
arrive
only
four
days
before
the
wedding.
When
we
begin
to
take
the
details,
she
asked
about
sizing.
Unfortunately,
I
had
gained
a
lot
of
weight
over
the
last
year
and
I
had
no
idea
what
size
I
needed.
I
was
particularly
worried
about
the
size
because
I
knew
bridesmaid
dresses
sometimes
have
a
different
sizing
system
than
my
business
clothing.
Simone
gave
me
tips
on
how
to
measure
myself
for
the
dress
which
I
did.
When
I
gave
the
measurements
to
her,
she
suggested
a
size
for
me.
Again,
this
was
all
“sight
unseen”
but
I
took
her
recommendation
and
placed
the
order.
I
had
called
late
in
the
day.
Simone
said
she
would
order
my
dress
the
next
and
and
confirm
with
me.
To
my
delight,
Simone
called
me
the
next
day
to
to
confirm
the
order,
the
rush
specification
as
well
as
the
approximate
delivery
date.
Another
nice
touch!
Throughout
the
next
several
weeks,
Simone
emailed
me
with
updates
and
allowed
me
to
call
her
when
I
became
nervous.
Just
as
Simone
forecasted,
the
dress
arrived
exactly
4
days
before
the
wedding.
Again,
being
anxious,
I
tried
on
the
dress
and
it
fit
perfectly!
It
looked
great
in
the
photos
at
the
wedding
and
the
bride
was
very
pleased
with
it.
Plus,
my
boyfriend
loved
it
which
was
a
real
plus!
I
highly
recommend
Simone’s
shop
to
anyone
looking
for
a
nice
dress
with
a
great
touch
of
superior
service.
I
purchased
a
dress
from
Simone,
“sight
unseen”,
even
though
I
lived
several
hundreds
of
miles
from
her
shop.
I
could
not
be
more
pleased
with
my
purchase
or
the
entire
experienceI
can
only
wonder
how
terrific
the
experience
would
be
if
I
could
hav
shopped
directly
with
her
in
Florida.
Selecting
a
dress,
with
Simone,
is
like
shopping
with
a
cheerful
best
friend
who
rells
the
truth
so
that
you
love
the
final
dress!!
