Pathetic service staff, i will not prefer this if you are looking for good service , service staff don’t know the basics of service

I had the pleasure of visiting O Poeta restaurant for the first time today. I had heard about the hype of their food, atmosphere, and service, and I was eager to see for myself if it was all true. I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious! I started with the French chips and tilapia, which was perfectly grilled and topped with mushroom sauce. The atmosphere at O Poeta is also very inviting. The restaurant is spacious and well-lit, with a warm and inviting ambiance. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu, and they made sure that my water glass was always full. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at O Poeta. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The best place to have pizza in Kinshasa is O'Poeta. Pizza Hut & Dominos need to ask the secrete of O'Poeta on how to make juicy pizza. Burger King & Mc Donald need to do the same because O'Poeta's burgers are heavenly tasty. I'll surely come back on my next trip the Kinshasa. Keep on doing great job.

Opoeta is always my go to. It was one of those restaurants I visit multiple times a year. They have three sitting areas. I always prefer the indoor one because it's chill with limited noise. I usually eat the same thing lol and I never get tired of it ie the demi poulet grille and a virgin Mojito. Today however, I decided to try something else. I had the Petit Salé (Porc/Pork) with banana plantains and of-course a Virgin Mojito for old times sake. The service was good. The person that was in charge of our table was always smiling and you didn't have to look for him. It's like he had a sixth sense.

Have only had delivery but it was fast and tasty, not cheap but regular gombe prices. They even called the next day to ask about the experience.

The pizza was very good. Many options also for vegetarians. Personally I really enjoyed my experience but it seems like there is a bit of chaos and disorganization between the workers and what they are supposed to do, which leads sometimes to completely unnecessary waiting time for basic things (like a menu, a glass and even the change at the end of the meal).

J’ai célébré mon anniversaire au restaurant Opoeta et tout était parfait ! L’ambiance était chaleureuse et accueillante, idéale pour une soirée spéciale. La nourriture était délicieuse, avec des plats savoureux. Le service était impeccable, le personnel attentif et toujours souriant. Merci pour ce moment mémorable, je recommande vivement !

Food was good, although the Pizza Siciliana could have had more taste in spicies, i was positively surprised by the Chef salad. The service, to begin with was good - Stanny did his best and he was very helpful. Other people of the staff were indeed very professional. Unfortunately 3 things disturbed the experience: a) When i went to the ladies bathroom, it was full of sh… obvisously, it might have been a guest; but that was unbelievably disgusting. Reason was, that the water in the toilet did not work - that should not happen in such a pricey space! b) It took more than 30 minutes from the moment we ordered the bill until we received it. Not even has it been explained in between, that there were issues with the ,,calculator‘‘. If there are issues, pls. communicate! I have never waited this long to pay a bill. 😤 c) we have explicitely asked for a table without a lot of noise, outside. Unfortunately, in our back; i guess few girls from the inside bar, were discussing very private things in an indiscrete and annoying manner- that is really not what people should expect. I am a bit dissapointed, but we all have room to grow- so maybe the input can be used constructively.

Went for lunch and ordered a hamburger with fries. The beef patty was too salty but the fries was ok. Service is good and the staff very polite.

Very Poor Service! On the menu there is pizza Calzone. I usually (more then 8 times) order Shrimp pizza but folded as a calzone. As per the server can the person who knows how to fold is not there, but they can take order of calzone folded. Upon my complaint no one cared either a customer was served on not - no importance to customer. Also placed order of 4 pizza at 1:45pm food was served at 3:15pm. Totally upset and never coming back to this place!. 😒

Have visited the place many times over the past 9 years and had always been the best place for pizza with my kids. This time around it left a bad taste because our order was not taken properly by a untrained and unprofessional staff Marrianna who is so rude and unprofessional. We were given the food which wasn’t ordered and they did not ask if the customer would like to change the order if the natural orange juice was not available. We anyways paid for the things we din order but ofcourse had it coz the wrong order came after 45 mins and kids were hungry and the orange juice that we did not have.

Great place, great food, great people but serving takes a little long and got to find a proper solution for flies
