A good temple of Lord Shiva. Place is in developing phase so I suggest visit with lunch etc. Because there is no shop/resturant near there. And also plan in winter/cool session or go early in the morning or in evening for Great enjoying.

The ancient Prithvinath temple located in Khargupur of Gonda, It is main center of faith of Shiva devotees. It is claimed that this is the largest Shivling in Asia. Legend has it that this Shivling was established by Bhima during his exile in Dwapar Yuga. Its height is such that Jalabhishek is performed only by raising the heels, About the temple : temple has a large shivling....has a big area.....grand temple.....also located in piece area....

Sri PrithviNath Mahadev Temple is a serene and spiritually charged haven located in the heart of [provide location]. As a devout visitor, my experience at this sacred site was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Upon entering the temple premises, the first thing that strikes you is the palpable sense of tranquility. The architecture of the temple is a testament to the rich cultural and religious heritage of the region, with intricate carvings and vibrant colors adorning the structure. The temple's design seamlessly blends traditional elements with modern aesthetics, creating a space that is both timeless and inviting. The main deity, Lord Shiva, is enshrined in a sanctum that exudes a divine energy. The priests conduct rituals with utmost devotion, and the melodious chants create an atmosphere that fosters a deep connection with the spiritual realm. The temple's inner sanctum is a place for introspection and prayer, allowing devotees to immerse themselves in the profound spirituality that permeates the air. The surrounding landscape adds to the allure of the temple. Nestled amidst lush greenery and with a backdrop of rolling hills, the temple offers a picturesque setting that enhances the overall spiritual experience. Many visitors, including myself, found solace in the temple's courtyard, where one can sit and contemplate amidst the natural beauty that envelops the sacred space. The temple also serves as a cultural hub, hosting various festivals and events throughout the year. These celebrations not only attract locals but also draw pilgrims and tourists seeking to witness the vibrant traditions and rituals associated with the temple. Facilities for pilgrims are well-maintained, with clean restrooms and ample spaces for meditation and relaxation. The temple administration is commendable for its efforts in preserving the sanctity of the site while ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors from diverse backgrounds. In conclusion, Sri PrithviNath Mahadev Temple is not merely a place of worship; it is a profound journey into the heart of spirituality. Whether you are a devout follower or a curious traveler, a visit to this temple promises an experience that transcends the ordinary and leaves a lasting imprint on the soul.

Prithvinath temple Gonda is located in Krgupur region of Uttar Pradesh. The temple district headquarters town of a small district about 30 kilometers away from the West Krgupur market. It is the best example of temple architecture. Prithvinath are told ‘lingam’ world’s tallest Shiva installed in the temple, which was established by Bhim during the exile of the Pandavas in Dwapara Yuga. Having appeared Prithvinath temple find all devout peace. The philosophy of the temple of Shiva only from all suffering, Kalesh get away. Faith of devotees demonstrates the importance of this place..

    (Translated by Google) The Prithvinath Temple is a famous temple established by Pandu's son Bhima during the Mahabharata period, during the Sawan month and Malamas, a large number of devotees visit here to worship. It is also protected by the Department of Archeology, It is about 35-40 km from the district headquarters (Via Itiathok) and bus can also be met from the district headquarters in the morning but it is more appropriate to go here by your means! Even if you come, do not forget to go to Jhalidham here.

They say it is one of the largest shivling. This shivling was established by Bhima(2nd eldest brother in Pandavas) as part of a spree in which Pandavas established 5 shivalingas to rinse the sin of manav-hatya(human murder). While another shivalinga is situated in nearby temple, two other shivalingas are stoned in one single temple not far away(in gonda) and one shivalinga had been destroyed(believed to be done so by other religious community). I have gathere this information from one of the priest in temple.

Had the privilege of visiting the Prithvinath temple dedicated to Lord Bholenath. This temple was established by Bhima at the time of exile of Pandavas in Mahabharata period, about 5000 years ago, which is situated in village Khargupur, 33 km away from Gonda district headquarter of UP, whose Shivling is very huge and grand.🚩🚩🚩🙏🙏🙏
