Nice beach on northern tip of Mauritius but not the greatest for swimming as there are a lot of boats. Also not ideal for sunset as the bay curves and blocks the view to the west where the sunsets.

It's a great beach on the east of the Ile, very shallow for the most part of it. Its a tad bit on the dirty side, and parking is usually a hassle. Amenities can definitely do with an upgrade. The food trucks at the entrance are oky, sometimes the queues are a bit long since there are only 1 or two of them parked there.

This beach has different colour altogether... it's clean and crowded. Changing room and shower is there. 2-3 stalls are there to eat.

The best public beach in Mauritius. No matter how crowded it is, you will not struggle to find a quiet spot. Safe place. The sand is one of the softest, i.e. you won’t be bumping on rocks/corals when walking on the beach or in the sea.

Beautiful beach in the north of Mauritius. We have escaped winter in Melbourne, Australia. It's also winter here, but the temperature is mid 20 degree's Celsius. It's absolutely perfect. It's also off-peak here. So it's not overrun with tourists.

Best beach for swimming. Clear blue water, soft sand and no rocks. After a nice swim, glorias kebab was amazing. Cons: limited parking.

This is a tourist beach where the sand is soft and silky. Very safe waters to swim and safe. It used to be longer but with evolution it is now shorter and maintained and cleaned daily with machine, but due to the size it is now contracted out to cleaners which is a shame.

Very beautiful place, and crowded as usual. Great swimming place. Very popular and one of the best beaches of Mauritius. Tourists and locals were there picnicking. Was sunny and hot yesterday. I had a great time. Would highly recommend this place.

The beach is great. But I am writing to warn you about unscrupulous sellers of excursions. I attached a photo of the boat. Ordered alternately 2 excursions from a woman (WA +230 5773 4365) the second tour began to be postponed, allegedly because of the weather. And as a result, we waited the whole vacation for a refund and never received it.

    Beautiful public beach.

One of the best beaches in Mauritius. Small but awesome. With some better planning and management in relation to hawkers and the parking, which I believe should be located elsewhere and leave the whole area exclusively to visitors, I would rank the place as excellent.

Great for early bird swimmer or midnight swimmers. Walking along the coast to Cap Malheureu is beautiful. Lots of fishermen around and beautiful homes.

I recently visited Pereybere Beach and was blown away by its beauty. The crystal clear water and soft, white sand made for the perfect setting to relax and soak up the sun. The beach was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The surrounding area was also lovely, with plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. Overall, I would highly recommend Pereybere Beach to anyone looking for a peaceful and idyllic beach experience.

Beautiful and quiet. The waters are so magnificently clear and calm! No tide so easy and relaxing too swim in. The waters are warm all seasons I think!

I would rate Pereybere beach as one of the best beaches in Mauritiius! With its clear and clean water, one can enjoy a good swim with the family at all times. The beach can get very busy on weekends. Same goes to most beaches around the island. Best time of the year to swim is probably in November and December when the water is not cold and quite comfortable.

A little piece of paradise. Beautiful clear and soft sandy water to swim in. Supermarket very close by where you can get your lunch should you not wish to buy from the beach seller's.

Small beach but beautiful, all amenities like outdoor showers and toilets provided, parking available, sometimes a challenge to find a spot especially during weekends, definitely family friendly and easy access to water, water sports available for an extra charge, refreshing with fresh coconut water and selection of fruits, food available from food trucks and one restaurant directly on the beach. Many restaurants are just a minutes walk from the beach as well as supermarket Winners just 5 min to walk with a wide range of food stuff and cold drinks, ice creams etc.

One of the Best Public Beach in Mauritius. Super Clean lagoon. You will not regret a visit. Great place for a family picnic Only 1 drawback, the beach is kinda small though, but not enough to downsgrade to 4 stars

  • 5/5 Nitish P. 3 years ago on Google
Beautiful beach. The lagoon is mostly calm and swimming is really enjoyable. There are no corals and little marine life in the area as it is always active with human activities. So it is not the beach you want to go for snorkeling. The beach has two public toilets and bath which is most of the time fairly clean.

It's my special place on the island! The nearby Casita beach is a legit postcard beach with pristine deep water perfect for a good long lazy swim and free dive. The trash on the beach is still an issue though. We, locals, clearly don't deserve our paradise... It's a shame that it's true!
