My wife and I spent 7 days here a week or so ago celebrating our wedding anniversary, and had so much fun and relaxation. The weather was not great but we certainly enjoyed everything The Mauricia had to offer, excellent service, great rooms, lovely steam room and pools as well as situated on a beautiful part of Mauritius, Grande Baie.

Overall, a good experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. At the gatepost we were asked for our vaccination cards and temperature checked. They took the luggage from the car, guided me to a secure carpark. We were seated with refreshments served. They came to us rather than we go to the reception for paperworks and payments. The rooms were nice, clean and sanitised. We had a beautiful garden view. There are quite a few facilities to enjoy there. The view of Grand Bay is stunning from there and it is centrally located. Dinner was nice with a wide variety of food on the buffet. The same for the morning breakfast buffet. At night we had a live band and nice fire show. We were granted late checkout upon request. I would certainly recommend Mauricia.

We had a great week in hotel end of May 2023- perfect weather, tasty food, amazing animation team - overall just a great place to be! Also very close to town to do shopping or just simply go for a walk. Would definitely recommend

Spent 2 nights at the Beachcomber Mauricia along with my whole family (10 of us) and we were unanimously enchanted by the staff, the premises and location. We were warmly welcomed by the helpful people at the reception. They guided us through and were always around for good advice. Rooms and sheets were clean and fresh, bath and restrooms impeccable. Both nights we were a delight when it comes to food. Great variety and themes! The chefs did awesome! One can only imagine that running service with so many people and attending so many requests is quite hectic. So, great job on service delivery both in the dining hall and at the bar! The post-dinner animations are great, really enjoyed the performances! During the day, the hotel beach is tranquil for a good read, a sunbathe or a swim. The pool area is a great spot to hang around, especially due to its proximity to the bar :) The activities were cool as well. I didn’t partake in any of them in particular but my folks seemed to have really enjoyed some of them like pedalo and the spa sessions. All in all, it was a great stay! This is an awesome hotel to just cut off from everything and take in the sun.

Nice location. Rooms are basic but clean. Food is fine. Service was horrible and clearly shows lack of hospitality training of the staff especially those at the reception.

What a wonderful experience, I travel all over the world, but I'm in love with this place. Beautiful location, great room & facilities. Exceptional service, Coulou makes the most amazing omelettes I have ever tasted, and as a coeliac I love the fact the chefs talked to me each day and advised me what I can eat. We had many great meals and the staff from the Manager Florence to the Gardiner were amazing, friendly and efficient (after the second day the restaurant & bar staff knew what I was going to drink before I asked) This is an experience I will treasure. Thank you to everyone I met.

Spent the week end at Mauricia with the family on all inclusive and it was a great experience. Great variety of food and drinks, good entertainment and clean rooms. But above all, excellent customer service from the staff at reception, restaurants, bar, boathouse, Spa, sport house, well everywhere! Can't name anyone specific as they were all excellent! Hats off!

A lovely hotel! We very much enjoyed our stay here. The service is excellent with such friendly and polite staff to tend to all your needs. The all inclusive package was great value, with a variety of food and drinks on offer. We really enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, with lunch and dinner constantly changing. The freshly baked bread and pastries were great and we loved the egg/omelette, pizza, pasta stations. The activities on offer were also great and we made the most of it - water skiing, tennis, kayaking, gym, spa, etc. Would happily come back!

The Mauricia Hotel: a little gem along the coastline I spent a day at the Mauricia with my husband, and we had a blast! The warm hospitality of the staff, the pool overlooking the ocean, and the buffet with its diverse and delicious options—everything was truly perfect! The Mauricia hotel is an absolute gem. What a brilliant experience! We had an absolute blast for our 20 year wedding anniversary and couldn't ask for friendlier staff and great service. It was a nice experience Rooms were fine, service and staffs were welcoming. At the food level dessert there was very nice but main course on the buffet lack of taste and variety. As example Pizza was awful..

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Everything was absolutely perfect: the place is very clean, the pool areas and beach are exactly as on the pictures, the food provides options for all tastes and is excellent. Also I was happy to see that there were way enough spaces at the pool and on the beach meaning you don’t need to rush to have a spot. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always smiling and welcoming. The gym has different cardio equipment (incl 3 treadmills) and various machines, as well as a number of dumbbells. When I went there we were maximum 2-3 people so you can workout without having to wait on equipment. The location is great, you can easily walk to Grand Baie or to other beaches. I would totally recommend staying at the Mauricia Beachcomber !

Even though resort vacations is usually not our thing, we had the most amazing time at Mauricia Beachcomber. The resort is very well maintained and offers lots of activities for the free time. The food is exceptionally good and varied, so one is really spoilt with choice at every meal. A special mention goes to the team, who always made us feel welcome and helped us with a smile. Some of the highlights of our stay were the massages at the Spa: the best ones we had so far! The live cooking show with Chef Veekash was also a fun and entertaining activity that we took part in and can only recommend. Mauritius is a truly beautiful place and this resort surely made our stay memorable :)

Excellent food, hospitality and care by all the depts in the hotel. Most importantly one of the reasons for coming to Mauritius is to experience the truly gorgeous Napoleon which I have enjoyed all my life. Mauritius day topped it of on Fridays and the Patisserie Chef made the best Napoleon and passed me a couple just because I asked Thank you to all the staff 👍 100%

Its hard to sum up all the small things that has made our stay unique (for us). We have been here for two weeks now, and i might have forgotten som things, but these are the things i remember. 1. The welcome home drink in the hotel lobby at arrival. A fruit juice with cardamom. One could tell it was fresh. 2. The shower soap. It smells really nice. 3. The waiters. Every night they have been over the top kind and nice. 4. The chefs. Unbelievable personal service. Six stars to them. 5. The minibar man. We was replenished every day, and he noticed what we liked and disliked. He would make us laugh every time he visited us. 6. Gluten free. My wife has celiac desease. They took so good care of us and gave us good picnic baskets for our trips. 6 stars. 7. Live music. There was live music every night. Talented people and staff. 6 stars. We have saved up for some time for this trip. Thank you for making it fantastic. We will save up again!

This resort is really comfortable and caters to families with staff all intent on making you feel welcome and their main aim is to ensure you are not wanting for anything. The resort offers amazing views of the ocean and the bay of Grand Baie itself. Whilst the beach infront of the hotel is not big it is certainly well located and provides a safe space for swimming and lounging on the many beach chairs. The pools are clean and offer a large area in which Cool and relax with the bar area close at hand for some much needed refreshments. Our rooms were part of the village which offers more of an apartment type layout and the village had its own pool as well should you wish to lounge around with the family. Spacious and well kitted out the rooms are comfortable. Bedding is clean and staff cleaning the rooms do an excellent job of it every day. The catering is varied and offers an assortment of choices that caters for most desires. Freshness and quality of ingredients should not be overlooked. The seafood is a stand out and can be recommended. The bread served fresh every day is also a must have. The drinks menu and bar are well equipped to cater for your needs and the servers are all very eager to ensure you remain hydrated. The hotel concierge is always eager to assist whether it be in the form of arranging transport ( always use the hotel to book a taxi anywhere they have the best drivers and the rates are provided upfront) to exchanging forex The spa is also a must and provides a great treat for those wishing to be spoiled and pampered. Activities are abound on the resort and the staff will go out of their way to ensure you are well informed and up to date of what is happening around you. Would we come back ? Yes we would for sure. Our experience was very good and we can recommend it to anyone with a family. Is it all our luxury? No but it is extremely good value service and well laid out offering that ensures you are taken care off. What it is is a resort looking to offer families a great time and the chance to make awesome memories

Came on my own for a weekend , was a bit anxious but all the staff at the reception made me so welcome and comfortable on my arrival, as everything was explained to me and I felt relieved to continue my weekend. Plus the staffs at LE QUAIS RESTAURANT was excellent and so helpful. Specially a Vikash,Prema,and Arvind,and the rest of the staff who really made me feel comfortable and looked after me throughout my stay. Also Guylan who went out of her way to sort out Mass time at the local church. I also ate at the restaurant Nautic, again excellent service and most kind staff. Unfortunate the lobster was a bit disappointing, well presented but not tasty. I felt it was the lobster itself rather than the preparation. It didn't taste fresh. However I certainly will come again without hesitation. Even the night patrols staff were also very helpful and I felt reassured by their presence and really enjoyed sitting on the beach until late ,which was one of my dreams. Thanks everyone for a nice weekend.

We had another truly fantastic stay at Mauricia Beachcomber Resort & Spa. Good hospitality, professional and friendly staffs who go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. The resort was amazingly decorated for the New Year celebrations which was unbelievably impressive, from the wide variety of food to the incredible shows and fireworks. A special thanks to Mr Sooraj and Mr Salim who made our stay a comfortable and memorable one as usual. I would highly recommend this hotel !!

Perfectly decent hotel. Facilities are a little dated, but adequate. The resort is conveniently located close to restaurants and shops, but due to the location, the beach is not so exciting. Staff is super friendly and efficient.

We had booked two rooms in Maurtia Beach Comber during the week of July 10, for 5days. The Hotel took care of us by changing the room category to sea view rooms from family suit per our request. Cheerful Ahmed greets you at the reception. The house keeping / service staff did their best to take care of our need. Nayeem and another Hindi speaking person who is with the hotel for over 3 decades gave noteworthy service, while everyone else was great. The buffet Resturant staff is also very warm and caring. One Mr. Satish went our of the way to prepare a vegetarian dishes for several meals. Thank you for that. Also I enjoyed my "well done" omelette for all the breakfasts. Water sports experience is great too. Shakeel and Sanjay took care if the teething issues. Areas of improvement: Choice of vegetarian/ vegan option is limited Cleanliness of bath area floor tiles can improve.

What an amazing experience!!!! We travelled with our children and this resort is the perfect place for families. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the kids club, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. Win always went out of his way to speak to our children at the resort and they loved his energy. The hotel staff were so friendly, helpful and efficient. Our son is coeliac and the chef Satish catered for him so well and took so much care when preparing his food gluten free food separately. I highly recommend this resort. There are many daily activities that you can join in with, from water sports, to exercise classes and Arun was happy to play Carrom with us. The location is perfect within walking distance to shops and markets. I will definetly be back at this resort. 😀

Drinks are very pricey. The staff work really hard and are committed to good service. Management should post more details of what is on offer and activities. Big shout out to Sachin who cleans the rooms with more precision than i have ever seen. Cedric made our water sports more enjoyable and is dedicated to helping tourists. Pedro and the entire watersports team are also very friendly and helpful. All the staff are great.

Stayed there 2 nights (2-4th sept). We were a group of 15 people and had an amazing time at Le Mauricia. The food as well as the entertainment was exquisite. The staffs are very welcoming and attentive to needs. I was taken ill during the night and their assistance and follow up the next day was much appreciated. Special thanks to the male receptionist who was on night duty on the 2nd sept. Thank you to Krishna, Ahmed, Rahul, Lokeishna, Paransha, Shakil for their warm welcome and smooth check in and check out. Very satisfied with the massage done by Rohit at the Spa. Not to forget Arun, Chris and Kevin who were also very helpful with other activities. The girls at kids club were wonderful too. Special mention to Headchef Westley who prepared a tailor made meal for me after Shakil informed him that I had gone to the hospital and was advised to eat a specific diet. Thank you to the whole team for going the extra mile in making our stay pleasant and enjoyable from room 133, 331, 332, 333, 334 and 352. We look forward to seeing you soon. Overall a lovely resort and great location. Rooms need updating and cleaning can be improved. We were told we would hear next door construction from 9-5 but actually started with 7am delivery trucks until 9pm most days (no chance of sleeping in or naps). If it wasn't the construction, cleaners were moving furniture early hours of the morning for guests that checked out early. Definitely not the most relaxing/peaceful holiday. Decent selection of food, but pizzas were to die for! Service and some staff friendliness was also questionable, especially at breakfast time, but some staff and reception desk were exceptional. Plus side - lovely beach area, water sports and land activities, plus 2 pools. Night time entertainment was good on some nights. Overall, not bad but not worth the price.

The reception staff were amazing and welcoming. They went out of their way and presented my husband with a cake on his birthday. They also made sure we had something to eat on our late arrival. Our room was modern and clean with a spectacular sea view. The food was good, with variety and different theme each day. The entertainment was plentiful however you could find a quiet place, if you so wished. Plenty excursions available from the hotel or from Grand Baie. Quick and easy walk into town for some shopping. All round a great experience.

This hotel is truly exceptional. The service is awesome and every staff member is super nice. Nautic Restaurant: Mr Steven, mr Satish and Mr Cedric at Nautic Restaurant were such a big help. They always made sure that every meal was right. They were patient with us as we ordered our food. The food at the Nautic Restaurant is exceptional. They have an awesome variety of options on the menu and I really enjoyed their steak. Nautic Restaurant is a great place. The buffet staff are also very nice. They are always there if we have questions about the food. They were a big help to us. The front desk was a big help as well. They always made sure that everything was good. Ms Guylaine was a big help with our reservations. She always greeted us when we went to breakfast. Mr Jonathan was always chatting with us and helping us make plans. He also was very helpful with checking us in on our first day. Mr Ahmed was great too. When we first walked into the hotel, he welcomed us and brought us drinks to cool us down. He later showed us our room and we were very pleased with his service. Every morning, he said hi to us and was always chatting with us. This hotel is an awesome hotel with 2 big swimming pools, a parking lot, buffet area, bar, and nautic restaurant. They even have a kids club and a tennis court. They also have a spa. You can never run out of things to do. Hotel rooms are exceptional and had lots of useful immenities. They have a gift shop with nice souvenirs of Mauritius. They also have a small fish tank in the lobby. The lobby is filled with seats. The resort also backs onto a beach and some nights, they have a cultural show. It's very nice I rate this resort a 5/5. I recommend it for anyone who comes to Grand Baie. Beachcomber Mauricia is a great resort.

The hotel was nicely decorated. Staffs are friendly. Nice view. But, the place is too crowded and busy. Food is not so good except dessert.

My partner and I spent a beautiful week in this resort, at the end of November. I would like to give special thanks to the all team that we met at Mauricia Beachcomber: they have been kind and helpful, anytime and anywhere. I want to make a special thanks to the chef Westley who has prepared vegan dishes especially for me: he was very kind, helpful and available, and even though he was busy , he proposed me vegan first courses, main courses and desserts, for my happiness and to make me fully enjoy my Holiday. Special thanks also go to the restaurant and buffet staff: they were always ready to serve us, to set up and clean the tables, and always with a smile. Our room was spotless and always tidy. The cleaning staff was perfectly diligent and present: many thanks to Vanisha for the excellent work, I never found a grain of sand in the room! You must be proud of the people who work at Mauricia, as they show devotion to the customer that I rarely find. The Bravo team was at the same level: Veronica, Greta, Matilde, Laura, Stefano, Lapo and Domenico are exceptional entertainers! They knew how to be present and extremely available without being nagging. We greatly appreciated the discretion they had towards the holidaymakers and their professionalism when involving customers in the various activities. What a vacation to remember! From the minute we arrived my family and i were warmly welcomed and all our needs were taken care of even though we arrived hours ahead of our actual booking in time. I cannot say thank you enough to Dharma for being so attentive, accommodating and helpful. He came to check up on us throughout our stay. In fact, all the staff were super amazing and friendly and helpful. Food was scrumptious, cocktails were amazing , accommodation comfortable and clean. The resort catered to all our needs, there was no need to leave the resort at all if that was what you wanted. The views are spectacular, the entertainment at night was a very pleasant and welcome surprise, the surprise birthday cake for my husband made us feel that we were more than just a number at the resort. I can go on and on about the amazing and unforgettable experience but I highly recommend that you go and experience Mauricia Beachcomber Resort firsthand.We will definitely be back!
