धर्मवीर छ्त्रपती संभाजी महाराज की जय 🚩 I have visited chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj samadhi in Tulapur several times & it’s been heart melting experience every time. As it keeps reminding our history and sacrifice of Sambhaji Maharaj for Swarajya. At the same place we can visit sangameshwar temple & also there is triveni sangam of Rivers. It is called triveni sangam because three rivers met at this place known as Bhima, Bhama & Indrayani. This place is easily reachable either from aalandi side or even from nagar highway leading towards aalandi. Ample amount of parking space available which is paid one. It’s our responsibility to keep the place neat & clean whenever we are visiting 🙏🏻

This place is a immensely important for History Lovers as well as its a great field visit for teaching a History Lesson to Young students 🙏🏻 Vadhu Budruk - Tulapur is the place where the saddest event of Maharashtra's history took place. Betrayed by his relatives & fixed by the internal politics, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was captured by Emperor Aurangzeb's forces in deep forests of Sangmeshwar in Konkan (February 1689), was brought here at Tulapur. He, along with Kavi Kalash was physically & mentally tortured for almost a month,which included lucking out their eyes and tongue, pulling out their nails, burning, removing their skin🥺🥺 Finally on March 11, 1689, they was taken to the place of execution & his limbs were hacked of one after the other & was beheaded with an axe. This all happened at this place. The body parts were thrown at this Sangam (confluence) of River Bhima & Indrayani🥺🥺💔 Later the remains were collected & sewn together by some brave people (Who later to be called as Shivle Patils - 'Shivle; means 'stiched') of Vadhu (Vadhu means Pulled - as the remains were pulled from Tulapur - The village was called Vadhu). and finally cremated there with ritual obsequies and honors at Vadhu.. It is disputed as to where exactly he was cremated as The samadhi's (Tomb/mausoleum) of Sambhaji Maharaj & Kavi Kalash are present at both the villages - Tulapur & Vadhu Budruk. How to Reach: Tulapur is approx 30 km from Pune city. Vadhu Budruk is actually accross the river, by road its 10 km from Tulapur. What to See: a Beautiful Shiva temple is located right beside the Sangam of rivers. The Samadhi's are located in this temple.. The temple area is clam place to just sit & relax, a boat ride is available at the river bank which is a pleasant experience✨❣️

Approach road to Tulapur: very poor and congested with slow moving large vehicles Sangameshwar mandir and Sambhaji maharaj samadhi: very nice and peaceful on weekdays. On weekends Tulapur should be avoided. Boating : available The venue has lost old charm due to excessive construction all around. One time it was surrounded by farms. Now it's congested. Worth a visit though, as a holy spot due to Sambhaji maharaj's martyrdom

This is the place of Dharmavir Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Samadhi. Beautiful sangameshwar mahadev temple and Triveni sangam of Indrayani, Bhama and Bhima river. Beautiful and calm place to visit. This place could be developed to make this historic, wonderful, respected place more beautiful and to attract more visitors.

It is good place needs more attraction for kids.there is 3 river sangam bhama bhima and indrayani.overall good nature view and nearby temples are nice.
