The food was amazing. I had the scallops to start followed by the loin of brill. My dining companion had the oysters followed by the loin of cod. There was nothing I could fault about the food or the service. I have only given this place 4 stars as I feel it was lacking a few finer points. For example the menu was on a piece of laminated paper and there was no table decoration. I know it's only a minor thing but when you are paying a high end price you expect a high end service. It still won't put me off from returning or recommending to others.

Beautifully designed, locally sourced a-la-carte menu with an emphasis on seafood. The staff are great, the views at dusk are stunning and the wine list is superb. Great food and reasonably priced given the pedigree of the restaurant.

We just visited Mark Jordan at the Beach for my Wife's birthday, what a treat! The food was amazing, the staff were fantastic and they carried out a special birthday surprise chocolate lollypop selection for my wife. Will 100% be going again!

Nice food but my wife's fish dish had salty batter. This was pointed out to the waiter, who seemed to be aware of this issue. For the prices charged here, I would have expected an issue like this to be resolved rather than continue to cook with over-seasoned batter. A new batch should have been made. Lovely location and setting overlooking the beach.

On a very hot day we were delighted to be able to sit outside and enjoy a wonderful lunch in the most perfect of settings. It was a special day and you did us proud with outstanding quality and presentation.

Love this restaurant. Great venue, professional staff and fabulous food. The scotch egg starter was perfect - crisp on the outside and runny on the inside. The bream on crushed Jersey Royals and the cod with Thai broth were perfectly cooked and very tasty. Sadly enjoyed the food so much forgot to take photos. A must visit when in Jersey.

Absolutely amazing place. Went by myself for my birthday. I had a window seat and they really looked after me. The food was the best I had tasted on the island. Will be going back on my next visit to the island.

Good food, well prepared and beautifully presented. Desserts are must so don’t front load too much. Would benefit from a bit of update to the decor although I’m sure plenty of folks like the slightly retro feel. Very popular so be sure to book in advance.

A really relaxed but high end feel, absolutely incredible food and a real personal touch. We went twice while on holiday and my mum likes a very specific wine, the sommelier took note and ordered a specific bottle for the second visit. The best place to eat in Jersey!

Our visit today was to celebrate my wife's birthday, and in terms of it being a special treat, it did not let us down. The dining room is crisp, clean and airy with several interesting artworks adorning the walls. No doubt in the daylight, the views are excellent too, but we could see only twinkling lights. We both had different starters and mains and gave very big thumbs up to each one in turn. The cooking and presentation was perfect, with gorgeous flavours flowing out with each mouthful. Washed down with an NZ Sauvignon, it was delightful. To round off the evening, the staff had prepared the Birthday Girl a selection of petit fours with a message on a plate. Thank you so much for that!

Went for a ‘blow caution to the wind’ full three courses. Well, that’s not true. Had the nibbles as well. I regret nothing. Every single course was amazing. The best gnocchi we’ve ever had, amazing crab on toast. The desserts were outstanding. All in all, well worth the cost

We have been coming here, to what we both regard as our "Special Place" for over 10 years and it never fails to impress ! Fabulous food, fantastic views and service that is consistently professional and attentive whilst being relaxed and understated. Well done to Mark and team for maintaining such high standards during these difficult times.
