A beautiful place to see, interesting shops and places to sit down and have a drink, there was even live music. Shame that cars are allowed to go though though.

It's a beautiful place to stay for a while. We were here on our way to the Buzludzha Monument and for about two Euro you can climb the stairs to the top of the tower. Plenty of memorabilia on each floor.

Beautiful street with craftsmen workshops in the heart of the old city. You can see woodcarvers, copper smiths, sugar sweets makers, jewellers, leather shops etc. Great place for children to learn about crafts and pick authentic souvenirs. There are quiet cafes and restaurants, restricted traffic on the narrow streets.

Gorgeous hand made products with such variety to pick from. Friendly service an make sure to visit the natural leather shop. The streets are not even so walk with caution. There is a gorgeous coffee shop that offers lots and lots of cakes so whenever you need a break, you can enjoy their offerings. We went during a holiday celebration and we were blessed with more products to choose from. For example, lots of bee 🐝 products like honey and natural candles were displayed especially because of the holiday celebration. The whole area has a different feel to it and I highly recommend it.

This is a great street with old architecture and buildings. The condition of the street is great. You can find little souvenir shops, antique shops. Also you can see bulgarian traditions - the street used to be a market!

Great place with local artists! Even if there also overpriced kitchy souvenirs, not so many as in other destinations.
