Market Building already erected and not yet open for the vendors and the public. The building capacity is not enough to cater for the entire community in the Eastern Highlands Province.

Colorful market, with great fruits and vegetables, but dangerous place. The local tribes start hier violent fights, for example yesterday. And it is highly possible, that your belongings will be stolen.

Just opened and the market benches both upstairs and downstairs aren't full as expected. May be because street vendors and National Peace Park is still used as market so vendors are scattered. Will be better Capital Authority shuts down all street markets. Appeal to the LOs to leave the market alone to the LLGs to manage.

Disorganised and dirty, always shift from location to location. No proper plan and the authorities are not seem to be concerned. 17/03/23 This week the market is back to the actual market the Government has built for the sole purpose of marketing. It is a good sign we are at least moving forward.

Quite a simple place to come and do your shopping on local products such as fruits and vegetables etc..

The new market building and facilities remains closed for reasons unknown, most probably political. The current makeshift market place is somewhat of an eyesore to the town. It on the once green National Park, where Rugby League would be played and people resting. The variety of food and most affordable prices still reigns supreme. I've noticed alot more sales of ladies garments, meri blouses. The firewood section is quite conveniently placed on the hill overlooking the market and one may drive through, picking up basic market essentials without moving too far from one's car. It is however advisable to always have someone watching your car whilst you shop as there maybe opportunists lurking who would break-in and steal from your car.

Love the structure of the building, but needs to upgrade it's environmental features and also it's not in use, up until today.

Finally paved parking lot and all the produce on tables!! If they could keep the parking lot free of marketers it would be 5 stars 🌟

The market venue is small. All market staff are packed to capacity. No room to move freely..
