Better than Jacksons Domestic Airport I'd say. Only downside is its literally within CBD. Noise pollution and a hazard for market vendors just a stone's throw away. I was there in 2019 and witnessed an aircraft taking off. Eveyone on the other side of the fence were grabbing onto their market umbrellas, food and clothing displays, bags, skirts and dresses. The building itself is worthy of a 4 but not when the runway is compromising the safety and livelihood of its residents. My colleagues laughed at the sight of this, and to some it may seem hilarious but this in hindsight is a classic example of poor development planning. For this reason, we took the highway back to Lae.. #ILoveEHPGoroka&ThePeople♥️💕

Right in the heart of Goroka town with 5mins to the main market and 2 mins walk to town. You wouldn't miss your flight if need be to get something from the market and town. Apo Tru Ave

Goroka was a nice place , you'll walk around freely and nothing is going to happen to you and its a very nice place with beautiful flowers and plants and beautiful views too

A number of cafe's now operating inside the departure lounge. Most of them only accept cash though. The airport staff are helpful and assist to make your check in process easier.

Goroka Airport has a new facelift. Modernised and is clean and looks great. NAC has done a good job
