Very upset with my experience here and left feeling dismissed and not listened to. Upon admission, nurse checked my vitals to find my blood pressure was super high, high heart rate and a fever. I mentioned that along with the issue I came in for, I also had been having chest pain. An hour later, a doctor comes in - ends up telling me just take panadol and go to the emergency department if the pain gets worse. Vitals were never re-checked after being alarmingly high, chest pain issue was completley ignored and I was sent away with no answers and $140 down.

I took my 3 year old daughter in as she had hurt her hand at kindy. Can I just say they were so fantastic! I didnā€™t even finish filling out the form & they brought us straight in. They were so gentle & kind with my daughter. It was the best experience in a medical centre with my daughter so far! Thank you so much. One happy Mama!

After calling multiple medical centres and being refused. Midland urgent care front desk team told me they would see my 17 month old daughter and to bring her straight in. Front desk was so friendly, supportive and helpful, we hadnā€™t even been there 5 minutes and a nurse brought us in to the ward sadly I canā€™t remember her name but she was so gentle kind and really took the time to check my daughters obs even bringing my daughter a icy pole, not long after the wonderful doctor Keng come to see my daughter she thoroughly checked my daughter and really took her time she was so gentle and caring and listened to everything I had to say. spoke in detail about her plan to give my daughter 2 puffs of preventive 5 minutes later another 2 puffs my daughter wasnā€™t eating or drinking prior to this and after the preventive she finally drank her bottle. Dr keng explained after care and how to give her medication and how and what we needed to do. so grateful for wonderful medical treatment and care we received today my daughter still very unwell but now able to breathe better she is thankfully eating and drinking again! Thank you so much guys. šŸ™

Disappointing visit. I have had to go to urgent care before and have been very happy with the care provided. The doctor today was dismissive of my daughterā€™s issue. No physical exam. Offered no advice without prompting. No empathy or care shown.

Working for Department of Health and having visited Urgent Care Cockburn since they opened, I was very disappointed with the service provided by the Doctor at the Midland Clinic. I was very unwell, no tests run just standard blood pressure and temperature taken. I was told if symptoms got worse to go to Emergency which I did. I note on documentation that if referred to Emergency there would be no charge, but it sounds like most patients end up in Emergency after being charged. Cockburn always provided such a high level of care with all tests conducted and a diagnosis given. I believe Urgent Care is provided to alleviate Emergency Departments, however this is not happening at Midland Urgent Care after my experience.

Been waiting 1 and a half hours+ to see someone. Charged $140. Have been told no Drs after 2pm and it's 1.46pm and there is still at least 10 people to be seen. I'm worried it will be a quick assessment. I feel like they are squeezing in as many as they can for the money. The triage is terrible.

Went with my 2 yo as he was very lethargic, had a high fever for days which wasnā€™t going down with Panadol. I had to wait hours only for the doctor to give him a hydralyte (which my son wouldnā€™t eat as he was very lethargic) and say that was a viral infection (no swab taken, no blood test, nothing just an hydralyte). I left as no one was taking it seriously. I went to the hospital and he was admitted after being tested positive on a blood culture for sepsis and also tested positive for three different viruses. He is now on IV antibiotic at the hospital. Luckily I didnā€™t listen to the doctor at the urgent care that said just give him some water and rest!

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Took my daughter for her bruised foot, and was seen after ten minutes, X-ray ten minutes later and results ten minutes after that - well worth the $100 fee. If your injury isnā€™t an emergency but is urgent - come here .

I booked in specifically to see a female doctor. When I had come to my appointment she was running 40 minutes to an hour late so I was told ā€œwe have another available appointment tomorrowā€. I took the appointment and was disappointed to see that the doctor was a man without being told that this ā€œavailable appointmentā€ was with an entirely different doctor. I felt extremely uncomfortable as I had come to talk about womenā€™s health and did not feel listened to or respected when expressing my concerns. I was crying on the way home because I had just felt so sick and uncomfortable after the experience. A really horrible experience for me and I just wish there was better communication by the receptionists and the doctor himself. He didnā€™t even introduce himself he just called me in, chatted to a nurse, and turned to me ā€œso what can I do for you?ā€. I just feel like it was such a clinical and impersonal interaction which made me further uncomfortable when needing to talk about breasts and menstrual cycles. I drove an hour out to midland to see the specific female doctor twice and never did. I know itā€™s not the clinicā€™s fault that I had come from a long way but it did make it so much more frustrating for me that they were running so late in the first place and never thought to give me a call. Just spent nearly an hour waiting to be seen by a dr here when we have come in with a 4 year old whose finger and arm was swelling rapidly. When I asked the only dr or person to be seen if we have longer to wait I was told itā€™s been put down he was bitten by a cat.. this is not true at all and donā€™t understand the miscommunication something like that is a matter of life or death. Unacceptable.

my son have toothache and asked help at midland urgent care..The doctor said she can't help because she is not a dentist and didnt give any referral to anyone and charge us for 141 dollars. We are not picking up money to the tree to pay that big money for nothing. If you think you can't do anything why do you need to charge people?

Could not fault the service, client interaction, medical skills and treatment provided by every team member from front desk to clinical in any way! I felt safe, supported and in fact given I can be a stubborn person, very well handled by the team here. I was compliant in following their next step instructions because I trusted their expertise! To round the expert clinical care I received off, even as I left, the caring front desk team gave me great advice on getting to the ED for next steps. Exceptional job Team St John WA at Midland! Thank you for helping me get sorted too.

Working in the medical field myself, I was on my way home from a shift and got a call from my wife saying that she was bitten by the dog on her hand! I got home and took her to Midland ED and it was full to the brim. I quickly hopped over to St John Urgent care and managed to get there by 20:45pm. We were greeted by Stephanie who was amazing! She made us feel so welcome and admitted us in a matter of minutes. We were then taken through with a smile by EN Sharon and looked after by the ever so lovely EN Kate. Dr Himadri came to have a thorough look at my wifes hand, lightening the mood with a joke. Kate finished cleaning and bandaging my wifes hand and we were out the door. From front of house, to back of house we experienced such amazing service and hospitality. I think the quickness and convenience of this service was fantastic. Great work by the team. We really appreciate your professionalism and hospitality! Thanks from the bottom of our heart! Gareth and Romy xxx

In my opinion a patient should be informed that they may not see a doctor but a nurse practitioner before they decide to pay the 119 dollar fee. My mum is very elderly and I feel that she should have seen a qualified doctor, we are seeing my doctor this afternoon. Disappointed

What they charge is insane, no wonder the emergency rooms in hospitals are always fully packed. Wouldn't even help me bandage my wound. This isn't an attack on staff they were lovely, more so an attack on policy.
