We had a great time at Daawat. Everything about the restaurant's presentation was top notch. - The place was nicely furnished and decorated which made me feel I was in India. - The staff was very friendly, helpful and always looked after the customers - truly a royal treatment. - And of course, the food was super delicious, top quality and colorful with authentic spices. The portions were generous but it did not stop me from ordering more food. If you ever want to try authentic and tasty Indian food, I highly recommend this place. It was a Friday evening well spent.

Hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve had the privilege of visiting in Sweden. Been living in Stockholm for 6 years and various other small towns around Sweden. All other Indian restaurants are nothing compared to these guys! Authentic spices, dishes full of taste, decent amounts of meat, great friendly staff that care about preserving proper Indian food. I will only eat Indian food from here from now on. Thank you and keep it authentic!

I have been in Gothenburg for almost a year now but honestly never had such a top notch taste. Staff was super friendly and nice. Chef and Serving staff were benevolently smiling while working.

Hospitality was Top Notch and the food was excellent. I believe first time in years, we felt the authentic india taste in Gothenburg.

Really good Indian food with decent price, especially the lunch meal. I like the dishes with lamb, beef or shrimp the most. Because usually chicken gets too dry to eat.

Daawat is hands down the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food here was amazing. We tried both veg and non-veg starters and main course and everything was so delicious, it is probably more delicious than any Indian restaurant in India itself. I'd say the tandoori roti was the best, and I've never had a tandoori roti this delicious before. All this was made possible by an amazing Nepali chef and the very friendly and welcoming staff Unlike most Indian restaurants the prices are very reasonable and the quality is fantastic. I would definitely recommend going here for authentic and delicious Indian food.

Finally a good Indian restaurant in Gothenburg. If you are looking for UK korma style then take the 29, it has a bit more kick so ask without chilli if spice is not your thing. Real popadoms and lovely staff. Well done 😊

We ate here 3 times, the last time the food was so salty it was barely edible. Strangely enough even the Mango Lassi suffered the same fate.
