One of the smaller castles I've been to. Not fun to explore like others. Decent views.

Amazing vantage point. Worth the visit just to experience the view. The granite staircase glimmers when hit directly by the sun. Not the greatest fan of the recent reconstruction work but with enough time, the elements will fade away the scandalous difference between old and new stone.

The castle was smaller than we expected but all of natural quartz instead of the typical granite was really worth seeing.

What an amazing castle, I've been there and seen the view across the valleys, and in the rain and fog, when it's easy to imagine the men rising out the mists to attack. I'll leave the most delightful parts for you to discover for yourself. There's an amazing restaurant right where you park, just after the square. Enjoy a magical relaxing day here with a meal before you leave, either to go higher over the Serras, or on to Linhares castle.

Even though it's a small castle it has an amazing view of town!

Simple castle compare to other castles around. The view from the castle is breathtaking!! It's my favorite castle cause I was born in the town.

Wonderful place with a beautiful view. Really worth to visit! To get there and park gets harder the closer you are to the place, but the view is worth the walk.

Beautiful views

Great viewpoint, pretty nice village around. The castle itself is very small (probably the smallest castle I've visited ever in my life) and is a mix of old and very new materials.
