My father constructed this cinema in 1967. There was a grand opening ceremony in that year. I think there was a seating for 900 people. There was a big crowd waiting outside the seating inside was full. There was a grand ceremony with musicians and actors. What a day it was. Made Ulhasnagar, a proud moment. All the buildings around the cinema were owned by my late Father Seth kishin Dawarkdas Bhavani. He came from Sind as an immigrant. His family owned 2 cinema houses in Sind Sukkur Pakistan. After partition everything was left behind and my father constructed this building Aman Theatre. It was sold 45 years ago because there was too much political attention from other exhibitors in Ulhasnagar who were selling black tickets. My father was a prestigious man he never indulged in that sort of business. Therefore, even after so many years the cinema stands. I seriously hope the owners give the building the attention it needs. There was very nice accommodation above the projector room. I hope the reviews improve and people who visit have a pleasant cinematic experience. The first film in Aman Theatre was Anita. Sadhna starrer. I played a lot in the cinema and the entire plot of land which was a field area back then. I hope I added a bit of history to the area. I was very touched reading the reviews especially from those who gave five star's. I am sure my father must be watching over us from above.

This theatre is non ac theatre but with a huge big screen . If u r going with family i will suggest u to go after 12 pm because in night more crowd is there as boys make very noise and a family can feel uncomfortable . U want to seat comfortable then u book balcony tickets as the chairs on balcony is nice as compared to ground. The ticket fare of balcony is 70 rupees And ground floor is 50 . The sound quality is very nice.

THIS CINEMA CAN BE THE BEST CINEMA IN ULHASNAGAR BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION IT'S IN , BUT ONLY IF IT GETS A TOTAL MAKEOVER , CAUSE IT'S A LITTLE OLD NOW , RATES ARE BEST EXPERIENCE IS BEST , BUT LOT OF CHAPPRI GIYS COME AND RUIN THE PLACE , INTERIOR CHANGE IS MUCH NEEDED
