One of the most beautiful excursions I have ever done. The path is easy because the climb is in a loop and not steep. You can go up from the parking lot below, which is the longest route of 1:30, or pass the enclosure for animals and go up by car to the 2nd parking lot, which after 3 minutes you reach the top. The views are the best since you see the Pyrenees in 360 degrees.

Route that you can do from Bossost or from above the gate, past Aran Park. Arriving almost at the top on the left there is a track marked with yellow signs indicating the route. From there you can go up the track for 5km or along marked vertical paths for 3.5km. Also by car but it loses charm. Spectacular views of Aneto, Bagneres de Luchon. I love the views.

Spectacular views. The horses are very pretty but they are quite scary. They get very close and rub against cars.

Coll de Baretja, very good excursion, very good views. You need all-terrain to go up the dirt track, about 20 minutes from the Port of Portillón

Beautiful border hill with a spectacular panoramic view over the three thousandths of the Luchon area. The hill is very wide and has large meadows where horses grazed. There is also a rancher's cabin. To get to the hill, the easiest thing is to take the 4x4 track or the trails that start very close to the Col de Portillon (Aranese side). From the pass you can access several surrounding peaks (we went up to the Era Trona), although you can also go down to the Hospice de France in the Luchon valley

Very pleasant hiking trail to go to the pass. There is a rather clean cabin which serves as a refuge for hikers

Essential place if you are in the area. Shortly before reaching the Port of Portinhon (about 200/300 m) there is a path where you can park your car in the shade. Several routes for hiking and climbing.

Exceptional point of view on the Maladetta massif, the Aneto, and all the 3000 around Luchon.

Spectacular views of a large part of the Pyrenean Colossos!! One of the most beautiful places in Val d'Aran, at all times of the year... In winter, a good snowshoe route.
