It’s been 2 years and I still remember my lunch/ dinner here. My mom wanted a cup of hot chocolate and I saw the menus and started ordering. Had some delicious appetizers, went with the spiny lobster and the salted sea bass and then desert. And they paired it with a delicious white wine. Ended with some multiple deserts. It was a wonderful birthday present for my mom. Look forward to coming back again some day!

The food is overpriced, but that’s okay and expected given the location. We paid 50€ for one fish dish and 30€ for about 12 shrimps/prawns. The quality was good, but nothing amazing. Again, you’re mostly paying for the location and the view. When it came time to settle the bill, the waitress was very pushy and made it clear that she expected a tip. When we didn’t offer one, she immediately became very unfriendly and had a terrible attitude. When you’re already paying over 100€ for an average fish dish and some shrimp and a couple drinks, you don’t expect to be treated so poorly. Next time, we’ll consider eating somewhere else that’s more appreciative of our business.

I dined here my last evening in Barcelona, wanting to take advantage of the coastal seafood and Spanish cuisine. I found exactly that at Can Fisher. The seafood paella was delicious, not to mention the dining experience made fun by the “create-your-own” paella component. The oysters were fresh and delicious and the patatas bravas were arguably the best I had during my trip. The staff was personable, helpful, attentive and friendly. As it was raining when I was leaving, they even helped me call a cab! This is a must-visit during your time in Barcelona!

Good fish restaurant, the products are very fresh, but not outstanding (especially considered the prices). The fried squids were okay, but a bit gummy. The mussels were of a good quality but the dish lacked of taste and seasoning, it was very flat. My favourite thing was definitely the carpaccio, I loved the combination of taste with nuts. The paella was nothing special: not crunchy on the borders with a bit of burned rice, also here the taste was very flat, I don’t recommend it. We divided every dish between 3 people, so in the end I spent 42€. Since I didn’t particularly love it I found it a bit pricy. The waiters were very polite and helped us with everything we needed.

What a lovely fine-dine experience. A must visit place for a fine dinner when you're in Barcelona. Amazing staff, great choice of food, wonderful dining, state-of-the-art service, and to add a punch, some of the best sangrias I've ever tasted. We were a group of 6 who visited this place a couple of weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and food at this place. The management was extremely kind and welcoming as well, that they made out dishes to accommodate a vegan member of our group. Special thanks for that kind gesture - coz vegan in a seafood restaurant is not easy! The personnel from the staff who served us on the day was Benedita. She was friendly and extremely professional. She was jovial, accommodating and caring. Simply all that you would want from a waitress. From the way, drinks were served, to the way plates were removed and added, she made sure that our experience there was of class. Guess what, she was able to accommodate a vegan in a sea-food restaurant - now that means the restaurant is simply amazing. Special thanks to Benedita for making our evening there extra special.

I came here on a recommendation for seafood paella. I am probably the most disappointed I have ever been ordering this dish. Sadly, it’s a tourist trap. Not only was it significantly more expensive than other places I have been in Barcelona but I left hungry. There were two shrimp, 2 muscles, one of which I had to spit out, a couple tiny pieces of calamari and another random fish that I also had to spit out. Basically it was an expensive cup of brown salty rice. And that’s being kind. I honestly would love to give it two stars overall or maybe even one but in all fairness, perhaps the fresh seafood is better? And also the staff was very friendly.

Amazing!! I recommend making reservations. The staff were very friendly and gave supurb service. Everyone smiled and was thoughtful. The food was excellent. We got the seafood paella. Everyone loved it. I enjoyed how each individual piece of seafood retained it's own strong flavor separate from the others. And of course the view with the ocean breeze in the shade was sublime.

Great views of the sea and fantastic traditional tomato bread. Also their regular tomatoes were fantastic and seems really fresh and ripe. A little slow this time of year but on a Sunday day a nice little treat!

Recommended by a friend for their Paella! Food is 5/5 and ambiance is 6/5! Amazing beach side restaurant which is amazingly furnished. Very good service and very busy during lunch hours. Ideal for a relaxing lunch before a dip in the sea.

This place was recommended to us as the best for Paella. I normally don't like paellas but my partner loves them. We ordered a seafood paella and I absolutely loved it.. my partner did not. He said it felt like there was too much soy sauce. The location is right on the beach which is great for views. It's quite expensive, but the biggest issue was the waitress - she demanded a tip and would not let us pay without it! Very disgusting behaviour in my opinion, for this reason alone we cannot recommend the place and will not return. Rest assured, this was not 'my interpretation' - we could not pay if we did not add a tip! Others reviewers have mentioned this as well but the restaurant clearly does not seem bothered and are trying to tell me that I have misinterpreted something. Be rude and then blame the customer.. okay Can Fisher :) Good luck!

Can Fisher accommodated, 17 people within three hours. The service is great. Although a little overpriced becuase of little portions. I ordered family style so I had lots of dishes but my favorite was the lobster paella This place is overall a 5 because of a great atmosphere.

Great food, love the paella so much. Everything was perfect except the prawns on the paella which weren’t fresh and costed €30. Lovely staffs - welcoming and helpful. Shame to say that we didn’t have much time here but would definitely be back if we’re in Barcelona next time!

It has a nice beachside location which is why I chose it. Like many places on this boardwalk they are geared to tourists and that means less of a focus on food quality with a greater focus on turning over tables. I really enjoyed the way they bring out and present the variety of fish they have. You can then choose how you want it cooked. Our server was very nice and attentive given the amount of tables he had to cover. I appreciated a waiter who makes it look easy when you know lunch time can be overwhelming. The food was decent, but nothing that would necessarily bring me back. The location is perfect ☀️ 🏝

We stayed in Barcelona at the Hotel Arts and wanted a place close to the hotel for our first night in Barcelona after a long international flight in. Our hotel concierge recommended Can Fisher and I'm glad they did! The hotel concierge made reservations for us about a month or so in advance and we arrived about 5-10 minutes prior to our dinner reservation and were seated promptly and were greeted warmly by the host. Our server came by a few minutes later after we were seated and offered to answer any questions we had on the menu. He was very nice, and we had several other servers wait on us as well that were also all very nice. We ordered the liter of red sangria to start for 23 euros, and it was very good! For an appetizer, we started with the Catalan bread for 3 euros, along with the Iberian ham for 19 euros. We also ordered a few croquettes for a few euros each. All of the starters were absolutely amazing! For our entree, we ordered the Chicken Paella for 23 euros a person. The paella was a large portion served in a skillet and was plenty big for two people to share. The paella was absolutely the best paella I have ever tasted and was extremely flavorful! Can Fisher was a great place to start our Barcelona trip and I'm so glad we tried the restaurant!

I might have to chalk this up to the fact that we were American toursits...but we had a hard time understanding the menu. There were no prices listed, it was hard to tell what was seasonal vs. not, and it seemed like a lot of the dishes were not for a solo eater. They had to be shared. Our waiter was very friendly and did do his best to help. They have a nice display platter of the restaurant's fish options. They brought it over to us. It helped a bit. In the end, we didn't love our meal. We didn't realize that when ordering fried, our fish would come with the bones in. The ocean views were lovely! The place seemed to fill up quick. Definitely make a reservation.

I enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Food was delivered pretty quick! I ordered the oysters which were large, meaty and delicious. The fried calamari was okay. Still tasty though. The crème brûlée was nice and sweet. A little on the runny side but good. I liked the pistachio biscuit that came with it.

Went for lunch with my family and loved it! The service was great, the food very good also! They are petfriendly. In my opinion a bit overpriced compared with other Spanish places I guess it’s for the location.

What a place! Lovely vibe, great service and amazing food. Clams, sardines, shrimp croquettes and Gorgonzola croquettes to start, followed by sausage & morel paella.

Great place to take a break from the sun and have a late afternoon snack. We were able to walk in around 3 on a Tuesday without reservations, but it was very busy at the outdoor tables. We were seeking respite from the sun and just ordered an array of plates to share. The tomato salad and the Bimi salad were both refreshing. The bravas and fried calamari were just what we wanted. Oysters were also fresh.

One of the nice xilingitos by the beach. Black rice with sea food was really good, so do hamburger. I wasn’t expecting such quality at such touristic spot. Highly recommended for a weekend lunch with a nice view!

The food was great and the restaurant is right on the boardwalk. The service was slow, but the quality of the food made up for it. We went on a Sunday around 8pm it was a bit busy. The paella looks huge but it’s only enough for 2 people, especially if one of them is a big guy!

  • 5/5 Dimitri L. 5 months ago on Google
Good place, but I’d prefer not to trust the waiter’s choice for paella (85€ for average-tasted paella for 2p). Better go with standard one from menu. At the entrance they might let you wait till they settle down their interpersonal stuff.

Perfect place to relax and chill to have a drink or eating behind the sea! Friendly and kind staff, they speak in French also! They adapt themselves and the menu to all customers. Fishes are fresh, they present it to you to choose or before cooking! White sangria is absolutely delicious and sea bass has no equal! Special mention!! Do not hesitate, I recommend!

An amazing spot! We went for the fish of the day we got to pick what we want for from the help of the staff, and it was fabulous! Couldn’t fault the place, and will definitely be back! If you like fresh fish, this is your place!!!!! Espresso martinis are spot on, and the house blush was so good! Highly recommend!

I really like this place even though I believe is more for tourists to enjoy the experience of eating paella in front of the sea. Paella is good, we actually ordered the vegetarian type and it was quite tasty they have a good variety of wines and staff is nice. It’s a really good spot to bring friends who are visiting bcn in summer. Remember: price quality relation is not the best.

Amazing! Every single dish we had was great! Our server was very friendly and professional, helpful to choose and explain the options. Best mussels and calamari we had in Barcelona! Amazing drinks and delicious desert. If you’d like to enjoy quality food with seafood view that’s the place to be!

Food was really great, I recommend a paella, croquettes, and calimari. Make sure you eat the bottom rice, that's the best part. Service was really really slow though. Had to go find our waiter twice.

If you’re in Barcelona you must eat on the beach at least once! This beach front restaurant is fantastic and the view is the reason you are there. We had the seasonal paella with lobster, pricey but delicious 😋 Add a bottle of Rose Cava and there’s really nothing better….

Just wow 😍 Amazing friendly staff, and the food was indcredible, so was sangria. Very nice service and clean environment. Right next to the sea, with a beautiful view. 200% recomend 👍

This restaurant is on the beach which is really cool. Ordered white wine and paella. The service was great but the food was just okay. If you have the time to make a reservation and you want to eat on the beach then this is probably a good place for you.
