We were sitting outside in the thoroughfare at night there was a lovely heat and the street was lively but calm! Had a fantastic meal consisting of items: homemade flamenquin, happy marriage anchovies, tomato bread, zarzuela stew, and a very tasty burger. All items were delivered in a very timely manner, presented wonderfully, and tasted fantastic! I really recommend this place for variety of tapas and range of seafood! Lastly, the staff service was fantastic, staff members were charismatic fun and outgoing! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Along with the drinks consider this meal more than worth the price!

The staff was very friendly and very welcoming. We got the caprese salad and the cod fish dish in particular (Bacallà a la Barcelonesa) was spectacular! Also shared the crema Catalana Casolana. If you are looking for well made local food, this is the place.

Amazing Paella! Went there because of all the good reviews and we weren't disappointed at all. Best paella we have ever eaten - totally recommended!

Lovely atmosphere and staff were very friendly! Comprehensive and easy to read menu with translations in English. The burger I had was excellent and came in a timely manner. Dessert was to die for! Will be back during my next visit to Barcelona! 🙂

Oh my God... Long time to taste such a delicious food. So, first of all the place is so warm that you can feel home. We started with soup with seafood and it was magnificent. After that we had wine and Paella with chicken and Paella with seafood. It was wonderful. I also have to say the waiter was the best, very professional and polite. Guys, if you came in this neighborhood you must taste Diego's plates.

Diegos Bar is a full recommendation. The Paella was amazing and the whole menu is at a very fair pricing. The owner and his team are super friendly and attentive.

We were seen and seated immediately by very friendly staff. We ordered 3 tapas dishes between 2 of us and all were really nice! Great quality and nice sized portions. Even though we have had slightly better croquettes elsewhere, they still deserved 5 stars due to their amazing service. The manager (I presume) was very accommodating and all staff were rushed off of their feet but provided all tables with great service.

Very good food for reasonable prices. The service was fast and very welcoming. Only the patata bravas had a little too much sauce on them for our taste. Anyway we can recommend Diegos Bar and would come again :)

Mostly non locals while I was there. English menu available, with very friendly service. Food portions were very generous, we had trouble finishing a paella, salad and 3 tapas.

What a lovely discovery this was! Wow the food tasted really good! The owner and his wife don't speak a word of English and the online menu is only in Spanish but it was definitely worth the visit. We ordered blindly and got a type of schnitzel topped with cheese and fried eggs. For dessert a warm Blueberry pie with cream. It was delicious. If time permits we would love to go back.

I ate here three nights in a row, the chef cooks great, I recommend with confidence. The service is also very good, Diego has a great team. For me and my wife it was an exceptional dining experience. Try to make a reservation, it is always full of customers, we were lucky the first night and we found a free table and then for the other two evenings we made the reservation on the spot. We'll be eating at Diegos at least once when we get back to Barcelona.

One of the best places I have eaten in Barcelona! The food is amazing, the service is impeccable, and the staff are so personable. If you are looking for well made local food, this is the place. Bathrooms are super clean as well. They even have little colouring packages for the kids to be entertained which allows you to enjoy dinner at a casual pace. Highly recommend!

The staff is friendly and expedient, the food delicious. The gazpacho is light and tasty. Try the Bacalao Gratinado for a tasty meal. Order bread to lap up the amazing sauce and top the meal off with crema Catalana!

Enjoyed this little gem on our first day in Barcelona after traveling from the US. Amazingly fresh local tapas with plentiful cocktails! Outstanding service with a lovely atmosphere! And, they communicated well with us who don't speak Spanish. Very welcoming and attentive!

Update 26.06.23: Did come back for a Paella for dinner and it was not even close to the one i had before. It did not have socarrat (the burnt rice at the bottom) and didn’t taste as intensive as you would expect a paella to do. Maybe they have different staff on Sunday for lunch compared to dinner on a Wednesday. Original review: Had a mixed Paella with an ice cold beer. The food was amazing and the waiters were very attentive. Definitely worth a visit, i will come back!

LET ME TELL YOU: This place is phenomenal. Customer service is one thing but the food is out of the world. Both my servers were attentive, recommended great dishes and accommodated food considerations and requests. What more can you ask? Everything about this place is great. Definitely recommending all my friends to come to this place. We tried their paella, and other tapas and nothing disappointed.

The owner described the food eloquently which helped us make excellent dinner choices. Everything was superb! The whole staff was friendly and professional, dessert was deliciously decadent!!

The food was quite good for a place that doesn't look very impressive. The prawns were particularly tender and tasty. All dishes surprised is with their size and we weren't able to finish all that we ordered. Seems like a good price/quality relation.

Such a great place in Barcelona. Saw so many locals while having my lunch (very positive sign). I had seafood paella, meat steak. Everything was served fast and was super tasty. Do order home marinade olives. You will never regret it! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

This is our first meal when arrived Barcelona, the staff is extremely friendly and nice, we didn’t make booking but still let us in. The food also delicious, price was great worth to go. Dessert could tasted really handmade and fantastic too. They gave us small glass of wine and sweet at the end really very care about of tourists.

Great service and amazing food. My wife had a birthday and the staff did a lovely surprise for her. Highly recommend.
