This is one of my favorite spots in Vilanova i la Geltru. In this market you will find the freshest meats, vegetables, and fish. The fish is caught at night in the local waters and auctioned in the morning at the local port, then driven directly to the market for sale. Often times you will see the fish still flopping around in the market stalls. Visiting this market will give you great insight into the local gastronomy and the daily lives of the Spanish people.

Nice wide town square with a children's playground.

Great indoor/open market. This is one of the great reasons to come to villanova. There is an excellent French cheese stand and a great bar that serves excellent food. The usual market suspects are there and a fair few feuit/veg stalls circling the market outside. You'll be spoilt for choice!

A must see if you're in the city. Great example of the local market with a good variety of stalls. Be sure to stop at the bar for a quick coffee or beer, the tortilla is excellent.

Top quality food from local producers. Daily fresh fish, meat, vegetables and other local delicacies. Must stop there for some local shopping and food. Easy parking with direct link. (Not free though)

Great place for uncontaminated food. You have to pay extra, but that's the price you pay if you don't wish to die of toxic poisoning from supermarket processed foods. Had the best sardines yesterday can't wait for more.

Best fresh fish of the region, most of the paradas have own boat....also the veggies are excellent.... enjoy the shop better than in big shopping chains (lidl, alcampo, aldi, caprabo...) also you support local producers (km0 low CO2 emissions).

Not the best indoor market I've seen. Could do with a bit of investment.
