Tank you for your great service! The rooms are clean, well kept and quiet. Would definitely recommend this place for a stopover!!

We’ve stayed at Aan die Oewer a few times over the last few years. Our last experience now was disappointing. Service was unfriendly on arrival. The unit was clean but the outside bin had discarded food behind the bin, no not cleaned properly. It’s not all bad. The unit is still comfortable to sleep in and offers Netflix for viewing. There is no generator for load shedding which is a negative. The self catering unit also does not have a two plate stove for cooking anything so it’s either braai or microwave (if there is power). Disappointing stay.

The room is too small for 3 adults. Very stuffy and pokey. I booked for 3 adults and only received 2 of everything i.e cutlery&crockery. The kitchen area is in adequate just no working space. The sleeper couch creeks eveytime you turn. The bathroom door does not close the bathroom walkway properly so for adults there is no privacy. Toilet was marked definitely not cleaned. You could not freshen up after your long trip when you arived, as the shower was a trickle of luke¹ warm water and we could only shower during certain times. The fridge was not cleaned, the freezer glass had old ice with someone else's mess. My neighbour's door was constantly slammed sounded like the door was catching. You can hear every word and laughter from your neighbor. People walk past your unit and can look right in. No privacy. I have stayed in better places in GR! This place in general nees TLC!!!

Was there over the long weekend 22-24th sept but seriously the place is not at it seems in the pictures the room service was BAD the one room still had dirty linen on and had some chips in the bed of the previous guests the room we stayed in the showers was bad water running the whole bathroom full no water in basin the tvs was a big issues no DSTV they don't clean the rooms properly only make the bed with the same linen don't even sweep the place counter and tables still full of dust so I'm not happy with my stay there.

Second time staying here. I couldn't find any reason not to give them 5 stars.

The staff is friendly, but the place needs some loving care, for instance, the lawn is full of thorns, and every time I took the doggies out, I had to assist with thorns in their paws. the guests are also allowed to be noisy very late at night. We wanted to leave early morning, but because of the other guests we only end up leaving at about 9 am

The link between the quest house and the company lekker slaap should be upgraded. First of all it's not a self catering unit it only provides a microwave oven and no other form to make your own food. Aan die ower do not provide breakfast at the B&B its been done of the premises wich doesn't the traveler to enjoy and early breakfast

I wish I could post zero stars. Absolute worst experience in all aspects. Room was above a bee hive that was extremely aggressive. Myself, other guests and multiple dogs were stung. Front desk was useless and owner said I should kill the bees because he won’t do anything. This accommodation is NOT PET FRIENDLY! Owner has an aggressive beagle that attacks any other dogs that come into the pool area. When asked to put the beagle elsewhere he said that his dog was there first and it’s his home, we must go to another area. Would never ever recommend this place!

Think twice before you make a reservation at Aan Die Oewer. We made a reservation and cancelled 6 days before our date, because of death in the family. There was enough time to accomodate other clients. I received an email indicating that the refund will be at the end of the month. ('January) Today I got an email that I will not be refunded. But we will have a credit with them -we are not planning another trip in that direction. How can you trust them at all?? After posting this comment -I received the refund. Thank you Anne-marie You are a star! .

Firstly, B&B suggests there is breakfast. There was none. Then, we all understand load shedding, but to hear that there is no water during loadshedding only after you’ve checked in and unpacked is absolutely unacceptable! This means no flushing your toilet! No washing your hands, nothing! Then, to top it all, after waiting the next morning for power to come back on, only to have a cold shower, we then find sewage water in our room! It was a shocking, unacceptable experience that I would not wish on anyone!

Pathetic to say the least, 1. No hot water 2. Dirty unit 3. Shower broken 4. Incompetent reception 5. Rude owner, can't even come and speak to my face, had to speak to him through a window. Called me adamant for wanting the breakfast that was promised. 6. Wet towels received 7. Room was not ready at arrival 8. No breakfast Only good thing that came from this visit was one staff member, lady with white hair was more than happy to make our stay more comfortable. (Hubri)

What a lovely place to stay over. Very good service. Unfortunately the wifi was down due to heavy rains and stress on the grid. Rooms was clean and all they had all the facilities you would need for your overnight stay. Worth the stay!

Neat and clean rooms. Friendly staff, great view from outside our room. Good value for money. Well positioned in Graaff-reinet to get to everything. We had a lovely stay.

What a lovely unit! We were warmly welcomed to a well-equipped, spacious unit. The unit has an inverter and batteries - so load-shedding was not a major issue. There are however no candles for when the batteries run out... The garden out front is gorgeous and overlooks a stream. The place was clean and tidy. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Nice warm water and excellent water pressure. We felt very safe and the location offered a relaxing atmosphere. Overall a great stopover. The town also offers much regarding sightseeing.

No breakfast available although advertised as B & B. Not informed. Two towels for three persons. No Dstv. The rest in order. Thank you.

For the price and the fact that it has a 3 star rating, the place could use some TLC and also proper cleaning. The general standard of cleanliness is not good. Floors were dirty and sticky, we found other people's hair in the bed, and the sheets were not clean. The shower heads are so gunked up with limescale that they don't even work properly. Will not recommend.

Aircorn not working, not clean. Breakfast was nice. Definitely not going back. Shower has a dam of dirty water water that doesn't drain. linen looks very old. There was no where to pack my stuff, I had to keep them on my bag for days. Customer service is poor. I travel weekly but this was too bad.

Really enjoyed it here, lovely units and a peaceful place.

We stayed here for 7 days with my family, room was big enough but was not equipped for a long term stay. Ideal with a 1 or 2 night stop over. Cleaning service was not great although provided daily, we had to ask for specific areas to be cleaned. Hope proper COVID sanitation is being done. Pool was green upon arrival but was blue by the time we left, staff do share the pool with the guests. Wasn't a problem but just to be aware of this.

Adequate for a one night stay or stopover, but I wouldn't recommend anything longer in the small units. We stayed in Duiker. The room 3specially the bathroom showed some wear and could do with a revamp, especially since it has a 3 star rating. The larger two cottages might be different. Where we stayed there was no Wifi and subsequently also not the Netflix which was promised on the site as one of its perks. Although this isn't a big deal for one night it shouldn't be advertised as perks. On the upside, there is a large garden, pool and multiple braai areas

👍👍 Well managed resort. Absolute kids' heaven (we have 3). Bathrooms are kept clean throughout the day and are spacious. If I could make one comment, there is not enough hanging space in the family bathroom. Perhaps a small table will do. Staff are friendly and helpful. Campsites are well maintained. T...
