Well managed resort. Absolute kids' heaven (we have 3). Bathrooms are kept clean throughout the day and are spacious. If I could make one comment, there is not enough hanging space in the family bathroom. Perhaps a small table will do. Staff are friendly and helpful. Campsites are well maintained. The resort is in town and walking distance from many museums and places of interest. security is great. The bistro also serve delicious meals. We actually extended our stay. Thank you Profcon Resort!

We camped at Profcon Resort in Graaf-Reinet en route to the Bitou district, Western Cape. What a wonderful experience!!! Friendly staff, clean and neat showers and toilets! Spectacular play areas for kids, even for older kids! Very impressed!! This is also pet-friendly accommodation.

My second stay and I still think it is great value for any size family. Some of the cottages are getting renovated. There is a nice play area for the kids. A small nursery inside the resort. The resort is located in town, the quiet part, but it doesn't feel like it.The view of the mountains are breath taking! Equipment was in good working order.

What a tranquil family orientated place. It is safe and serene nestled in the middle of a nursery and restaurant. Whether you a teenager, toddler, tween or pensioner it has a little bit for everyone to enjoy.

For businesses or travel Profcon will suit your needs. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. They pay attention to detail and this can be seen all over the place. There is a playground for kids, a swimming pool and an onsite restaurant.

Comfortable and neat, has rooms, parking for caravans and playing ground for kids. Delightful place for overnight or holiday visit as Graaf-Reinet is clean and churches are well preserved

Super friendly staff. Helpful and professional. The accommodation was neat and child friendly. Rather old building and interior finishes. The electric bed made the stay less cold and more pleasant. The resort itself is huge with plenty to do and explore.

This is the second time we've stayed overnight here. Lovely clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed and a kitchenette with all you need. There is a pool and gardens if you wish to sit outside. There is a restaurant and coffee shop here so, if you don't feel like cooking, you can pick something tasty up there. Prices are reasonable, staff helpful and friendly. Safe parking inside the complex.

Huge property, very well maintained with beautiful plants and simple rustic decorations. Service was warm, the room was exceptionally clean, unexpectedly for such huge accommodation establishments, the bathroom was kept immaculate, no molding in grout and shower was of good water pressure. We missed dining in the premise as weekends the restaurant is closed but had lovely pre-made sandwiches from their bar. Nothing stingy about the sandwich fillings and the vegetables were fresh, unlike those you buy from petrol stations. Highly, highly recommended.

We stayed in the Campsite. Profcon was great at commutation, flexible with our late (8pm) arrival and suited our needs perfectly. The campsite has a communal kitchen area. Clean bathrooms and hot showers. There was WiFi but the signal was almost nonexistent - more than likely due to the awful storm that was ranging outside. We only stayed until 5am but would definitely go back if we’re in there area. Perfectly located! My photos really don’t give the best impression, apologies, it was dark and the weather was terrible.

5 Camp sites of which 3 are big enough for a caravan. 2 Sites with gras, number 4 and 5 and they are also the best. Security very good. Facilities clean and adequate. Lovely coffee shop on the premises.

When I phoned Profcon for a reservation the phone was answered by a lady that was extremely well informed about her area. Hats off to her. Making the reservation was effortless. Arriving at Profcon took us by surprise. This establishment caters for self catering accommodation, camping, functions etc. There are a huge playground for kids, a swimming pool and nursery with pots and plants. Security is good and they are well equipped for loadshedding. We had our own entrance gate to Sunflower cottage. Profcon is also located in a quite area, with other touristy places down the road. I am sure if you speak to management they will be able to accommodate a wheelchair. Our Maltese doggy traveling with us, was also welcome. I would recommend Profcon as a place to stay for a one night sleepover or an extended stay.

This has to be one of the best stopovers for families with young children between the garden route and Gauteng. Plenty of different playgrounds for different age groups, lovely cottages, a fantastic coffee shop/ restaurant and all very reasonably priced. Just such a happy surprise. Seriously surprised I didn't see this place more widely recommended online. Our new stopover of choice

This huge, dog friendly establishment offers accommodation and camping facilities and has an attractive restaurant, gift shop, coffee shop, kids playground and a nursery. The campsite and ablution facility is adequate. The location is good and the staff are extremely helpful, in particular Kenny, who assisted us very competently with a mechanical problem that we had with our camping trailer.

Just dont sleep in Lilly please. The main bed feel like solid floor under you as hard as hell. When I asked very nice for a softer matras I was told no, sorry but that is tourism standard that they follow. Never in my life have I slept in a bed anywhere this damn hard. We both have back, rib and arm pain still 4 days later!!!!

We last camped at Profcon pre covid and were very impressed. 4 years on...and still impressed, placed centrally in the town is a plus, but also the friendliness and efficiency of the staff is notable, lots of activities for children, meals available, clean and well run. Definitely recommended.

Enjoyed my stay, big room ,clean and comfy.Onky let down is the "office" chairs ,really uncomfortable specially from a work perspective, but having said that, enjoyed the stay. The breakfast is up there. Will stay there again

Lovely clean and comfortable stay at Profcon Resort. Spacious accommodation with all the necessary amenities one needs for an overnight stay. Perfect location and very reasonably priced. I would recommend it highly for people with young kids. Extend your vacation by planning a two night stay here for the enjoyment of the kids.

My parents have stayed here several times in the past few years when passing through. Lovely place with very friendly and helpful staff... They helped us out with something this last week, even though we were not staying and just passing through! Thank you!! I hear the pool and breakfasts are very good too!

This place is so awesome and the chef..... don't let me get started!!!!! I had french toast made with ciabatta with caramelized banana and pieces of bacon all drenched in syrup and topped with chopped nuts. I've never had this before in my 50+ years and I drooled over thoughts of that dish for more than a week. I will take a roadtrip from Pretoria for another helping!!!!

Wow. Would never of dreamed that they had so much to offer. Stacks of rooms and some camping. Lovely shop with cakes, savouries pie's, meats, salads, drinks both alcohol and non, plus many more. Rooms are very neat and clean with air-conditioning and a braai area under roof. WiFi is available. The staff and management are extremely efficient and go the extra mile to help with unforseen problems. Lodge is situated very close to shopping centre and walking distance from the centre of town. I will definitely stay here again if I'm I the area.

What a resort, the quality, the service, the affordability a 10 out of 10 all round. Impressed with the housing and the cleanliness of the whole resort as well as the service. The food is quality and the appliances are quality. It is also secured inside fencing and a gate. Felt homely and welcoming. The farm animals roaming around also gave a great experience. There is also a playground area for kids as well. I was very impressed.

Staff were friendly, helpful and went out of there way to give us great service. Amenities, facilities were exceptional. We did not need anything. Breakfast was excellent ,delicious, well presented. Great place for a family with children, lots to do and see. Close enough to walk to nearby attractions and restaurants. Home away from home feeling. Scenery is beautiful. We enjoyed 2 fantastic days. Thank you to all staff at profcon. Hope to go back soon.

Friendly owners and staff that go the extra mile for their guests. All the rooms and cottages have the basics you would want and need. Including aircons, TVs and lamps to use during loadshedding. Lovely activities to keep the young and the young at heart entertained, from ducks and chickens to jungle gyms and mini golf. Lovely pool to cool off in on the hot days in Graaff-Reinet. The restaurant and bakery Niblets is amazing! Serving breakfasts, lunches and something for the road. Definitely a place to stay when in Graaff-Reinet

We stayed in what looks like an old house. It was beautiful and took me back in time when we lived in such an old house. We just stayed for the night. Everything was working and the house was cozy and clean. Service at reception also very good.

Awesome place to stay, but with loadshedding there's nothing but a bulb, at the price u most definitely can invest in a generator as that will add value to this Awesome place

  • 5/5 Margarethie B. 1 year ago on Google
I am one of their guests over a period of years and every time I get there, they have made an improvement or ensure the quality of their accommodation. Sparkling clean, air conditioned rooms. Easy to find from N9. Safe and secure parking. Provision is made for load shedding.
