Its a very tranquil, neat place with a green, lush yard. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was nice and the fruit was pretty fresh. I enjoyed tgeir grilled lamb chops for dinner. I was allocated a room with 2 single beds and a shower. The mattress on ny bed was too hard. The room was smallish but clean. It also had a little bar fridge which is a bargain on hot days - to keep your drinks cold. There is ample, secure parking space inside the premises. I would definitely come back here if allocated a room with a larger, softer mattress. Otherwise it was pleasant staying here.

I cannot praise all the team here enough reception, bar staff, restaurant and cleaning ladies and ground staff were ALL so welcoming and friendly. The establishment has a mixture of oldyworldy charm and modern outside areas around the pool. Our accommodation was so spacious with its own little kitchen which was well equipped. A lovely base to use for a trip to Nieu Bethesda.

Affordable, clean and spacious. Perfect for an overnight stay on the way to the Garden Route. Nice big swimming pool and delicious breakfast.

Friendly staff and owners. Prepared to help with anything. Food was very good. Venison pie is a must. Will definitely go back

Great place to stay..it is a bit tired..but remembering all the tourist industry has gone through..hats off they are open..would stay there again on my way south..

We had a quick pitstop here on the way to CT..the rooms are lovely and spacious..the staff friendly and the water was wonderful..hot and loads of pressure...really important...as it was so cold...oh yes..and electric blanket... Was great...

Clean and well maintained rooms and premises in general. Friendly staff and good food. Efficient and friendly service. Quiet environment for a good nights rest. Even though our caravan was outside security is provided.

Looking charmant but not proper. Very old electricity and streams off for a few hours in beginning of the evening. Not very clean and old. Food is good but at dinertime takes more than one hour before getting served

Its beautiful, quite and spacious but I couldn't access WiFi where I was sleeping and TV was not working. But everything else was ok.

One of the best guesthouses I've ever had the privilege of lodging in, the rooms are gorgeous and the area is so quiet and relaxed. The swimming pool makes for a great place to relax after a long drive. The facilities are exquisite and the bar is affordable. The food that we received from a great menu was not only phenomenal but also just simply gorgeous to look at. 10/10. I recommend this to anyone who needs a place to rest while driving through.

Very terrible experience I have received from karoo park guest lodge this place does not even deserve a half star rating. On the 2022-12-13 I arrived at the guest lodge at 12am and the owner tells me they are fully booked I traveled for 17 hours from KZN to the city and paid well in advance and I told Xandre I will be arriving at 12am and she booked accordingly and told me I must message her an hour in advance and she will send me a video of where the keys will be. This guest lodge doesn't not know how to do proper reservation and just books anyone to scam customers and they are not cheap, I had to stay with a friend and sleep on the floor with my family at the same guest lodge, the owner told me he'll give me a refund cause I didn't not occupy the room and took my banking details but up till today I'm still waiting for my money I paid R1700 for just one night, they ignore my emails and whatsapp messages, they are a total scam utter disgraceful service and high racism, the rooms are so untidy, they give you water from the Jojo tanks to bath with. I do not recommend this place to anyone who visits the city of Graaff-Reinet for December or any part of the year, terrible welcome from the owner they are rude and arrogant and heartless towards customers they have no way of talking to guests, they tell me they do not have any records on their system lucky I still have my proof of payment and produced and the owner was just looking at it stunned and had no words

We stayed in the honeymoon suite and we absolutely loved it. Reception stayed up a bit late for us because the drive took a bit longer than expected. The room was huge, the bed comfy, and we enjoyed being able to bath after facing the Cape Town drought. Breakfast was yummy, with a good choice of cereals and a choice of what to include with your hot meal (definitely try the hash browns). We'd stay here again of we were coming back.

A great stop over for a long trip. Excellent service, great food and an awesome pool. Ample secure parking is a big plus as well. The room was spacious and comfortable beds..the only downside was the fan not working which in karoo heat is much needed.
