Most beautiful place in Graaf Reinett. Service from the owner and her daughter was excellent. Thank you.

We had a lovely time there and would recommend it to anyone of our friends and family. We would however suggest that you fit the bathroom with a bigger bath tub and closed the front stoep that face the road,so that one can sit outside in the sunshine and admire the succulent garden opposite the street. A big,Thank you to Melissa and the friendly ladies who keep the rooms clean.

Love the clean nicely decorated room and the bright colors of the Lodge.

The owner is friendly and helpful even to those not staying there

The service is very poor I can only give them 0 Star if there is one. We booked the place for the 30th January 2023 and we paid the full amount. We were coming from Lusikisiki and we were supposed to be at the lodge before 9PM but unfortunately we couldn't make that time because of the situation. We called in earlier around 7 to say that we were going to be late atleast we can only arrive there at 10PM, to our surprise the lady who spoke to us was so so rude, I wish I recorded her while she was speaking. We were so calm speaking to her so politely even begging her but the woman was so arrogant, then we ask what will happen to the money we paid since she will not wait for us till 10 and she said she will not refund the money & so it's gone & truly she didn't refund us our money. We even suggested to her that she can live the key for us in the box since we are arriving at 10 & she said she cannot do that, truly we arrived at 10 & we find out that she already left. So we were stranded, lucky Rothman B&B welcomed us even after 10 & they have excellent service. I don't recommend this B&B. This person was really cruel & she even drop the phone while still speaking, she did that to the 3 of us who were calling her. Very very bad service sorry to say.

Really a great experience! The lodge is located across a few properties on the road you drive into the town. The properties are all uniquely painted, a great site to see and right across the Obesa Cactus Nursery. The room was neat, modern with a very comfortable bed and air-conditioning unit. There is also a swimming pool if you would like to cool off from the heat.

Very comfortable. Made me wish that we had visited in a bigger group. There are different areas to braai, and enjoy a good party. Will definitely stop here again.

Good overnight accommodation. Clean and spacious

Lovely, quirky, little place to stay overnight. Everything was clean and neat and in working order. We received a map of the town with suggestions for restaurants on arrival and a call later the afternoon to tell us there would be load-shedding later that night and that we could pick up a lamp at the office. There is aircon in the main room which was a blessing. Even though it is nothing fancy I definitely would recommend Obesa.

Love love this place. Succulent heaven. You will either love this place or see no interest in it. I spent hours looking at all the succulents. Will be back to buy more. Johan is amazing, and very willing to share his knowledge.

My favourite accomodation in Graaff Reinet. The place is very clean, beautiful and with character. The breakfast delicious, top service. Located in central but very peaceful.

Huge thanks to Sonja for putting us up when our car broke down, she is extremly helpful and friendly. Our room had everything we needed and was clean and equipped!
