Rest'o was a really great discovery in Bordeaux: the dish were impressive, for their size, presentation and diversity of tastes ! Almost everything is vegetarian, and in case of any allergy, they would modify your plate. Moreover, the two owners who cook and serve are so kind ! However, if you want to eat there, I would recommend to book a table as the restaurant is pretty small.

One of the best (and unique) meals (vegan, organic or otherwise) that we had in Bordeaux. Tip: go there in person to make a reservation in advance. Or, on the day, arrive 20 minutes before opening and you may get lucky and score a table. Worked for us at least.

My friends and I decided to visit Bordeaux for a few days, before our visit, I have discovered Rest'O however, I knew it would be closed on our first 3 days Sunday Monday and Tuesday, I have read reviews that it was recommended to book a table in person so, on Wednesday morning after checking out of our apartment, we drove to Quai de bacalan with the help of Google maps, on arrival it was 15 minutes before opening, fortunately the door was open so I went in, I can see the chef was busy preparing and a very nice Japanese lady standing there trying to finish her meal before I interrupted, "so sorry". She kindly reserved a table for the 5 of us, a few minutes after we sat down the chef came over and explain to us that everything would be prepared fresh and wanted to create something special for us because he doesn't want us to choose a vegetarian lasagna. By the time our meals arrived, the 20 cover restaurant was full and we were so lucky to be the first one there. Afterwards the chef came over to ask if everything was alright and I told him that it was magnificent and asked to have a photo with him to which he agreed. Overall the best vegetarian meals I've tasted, highly recommended.

Definitely the best vegan food I have ever tasted in all my travels throughout Europe so far! The attention to detail, the presentation itself such a work of art, the entire experience is a wonderful journey in the chef's artistry. Visited Bordeaux 2 years in a row and both times we ensured to treat ourself at Rest'o. It is a place in our hearts as it brought such joy, culinary and visually. Please don't miss paying Rest'o and their lovely hosts a visit, even if it is just for a takeaway. Grateful for the most unexpectedly beautiful vegan experience. Chapeau bas & hope to return soon!

Superb healthy option, with a spice of opera music, a very entertaining chef... and mouth watering food. Apparently no one can resist the call of vegetables when he’s cooking! Don’t forget the vegan deserts, all tasty not too sweet and an easy almost guilt-free delicacy! Wished we could have gone back.

Wow, Incredible, delicious food, really well worked, many different vegetables, a great range of flavors. Until now, one of the best vegan place I ever went!

I had so much admiration to the couple who's running this lovely vegan restaurant. Bright, very positive and welcoming hosts. The best vegan restaurant I've ever had (of all the 16 countries I've been) and each time we ordered food from them it's just getting better and better! I even ordered my birthday cake from them and oh my... its amazing! Thank you Sulimane and Akane ( I hope I spelt their names right 😅 )

Fantastic vegan restaurant. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed an amazing selection of food. Extremely creative. Necessary to book but well worth it. Highly recommended.

The food was a work of art produced in a happy, vibrant kitchen. The meal was delicate yet filling and a complete joy to eat. Opera was playing softly and you could hear the chef singing from the kitchen. The whole vibe was friendly and fabulous. Do yourself a favour and go. Highly recommend

This is a restaurant with heart and vision. The dish I had was complex, refined, and mostly very good. Overall, I enjoyed this experience, but I've got to give review this as 3 stars due to a few important drawbacks. The dish had several little surrounding pieces and sauces. These were all fantastic and provoked much thought. However, the two central pieces to the dish, I found, were lacking. The veggie "lasagne" was complex but not so intriguing. I sensed many flavours but in combination, was not thrilled by them. Here you can find too many raw ingredients that overpower those flavours. Also, the central salad was, for the most part, raw and unseasoned. There was some sauce and some nuts with it, but those didn't distribute well, so in the end you eat naked lettuce and red cabbage. Also, had to wait for about 40 minutes for our food while sitting in the hot sun. This alone has tipped my review from 4 stars to 3 stars. If you don't get the sun seats, I believe you will have a "4 star experience". But if you do...

😐 We decided to pay this restaurant a visit after read all the positive reviews on Google. We got there 27 minutes before 7pm and lined up in the sun until the restaurant open. Everyone works in the restaurant is very friendly! The salad is okish, not much dressing. The beef is extremely tender! The s...
