This is a very pleasant and easy 0.3 mile hike of 15-20 minutes to the falls and is conveniently located right off the Kancamagus Highway. There is a parking lot at the trailhead which is generally full as this is a very popular hike. The parking lot has rest rooms, picnic tables, and a self- serve pay station as this is a fee-based site, unless you have a pass. The trail is wide, well maintained, has some elevation although benches are available for resting, nice viewing platforms, sturdy handrails and the walk is along a stream with nice views. This is a not-to-be-missed walk.

Sabbaday Falls is very picturesque. We covered about 1 mile worth of trails. The trail head is at the parking lot and designed for a good number of folks to be at it all at once. The climb to falls is gradual and has lots of fauna along the trail. Parking lot has two bathrooms and can accommodate approximately 25 vehicles, and there is parking along the roadway, but its very busy during the fall color change. During the fall peak, the ground is a carpet of colorful leaves and as the wind blows you will be treated to a rain of color. Highly recommend this destination if you are in the area.

An easy hike, wide, clean trails with very few obstacles. The granite stairs that lead to the falls can be slick on damp days, or with Autumn leaves, so wear good sneakers/hiking boots. Beautiful views all along the trails. Be sure to stop at the Ranger station as you enter the Kancamagus Hwy to purchase a day pass for your vehicle. It's only $5 & allows you to park & hike on all of the trails for the day.

One of the most beautiful falls in the area. Relatively easy walk/hike - first section is slightly uphill then you will encounter steps and last section gets steeper. With high winds certain sections can get slippery - wearing good shoes is recommended. Parking can get crowded during the season. Enjoy!

Absolutely stunning winter "hike". Not long but uphill the entire way.I got lucky and was the first one there Saturday and was able to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the untouched snow. Re-broke the trail and when I left the parking lot had filled up as everyone and there uncle decided to literally follow in my steps. Will absolutely come back during the summer.

Falls are amazing… the grounds are a bit walked over currently. I assume lots of foot traffic recently. Clean and easy to navigate.

Two adults visited Sabbaday Falls on the Kancamagus Highway in Albany, NH on a Monday in late August 2023. The parking lot wasn't full. The 0.3 mile trail to the falls leads to an uphill climb along a mostly graded easy-to-walk path, although the part at the end gets quite steep leading from the base to the head of the falls. The entire walk was beautiful and very cooling on a hot day from the spray from the falls. It is a popular site, so YMMV regarding available parking. Leashed dogs are welcome. Note that the pit toilets were far from clean the afternoon we were there, even though they had a sign they had been cleaned that morning. As noted by others, there is a $5 parking fee that can be used the same day at other White Mountain parking areas or if you don't have an annual pass.

Sabbaday Falls is one of the most popular stops on the Kancamagus, and for good reason. It’s a short 0.3 mile walk in the woods for a very scenic waterfall. The path is mostly flat, and a moderate uphill climb. By hiking standards a very easy walk, and the vast majority of people will have no problem. Parking on weekends will be your biggest problem as the lot is far to small for how many people are here at any given time. Parking on the side of the highway and walking back to the trailhead may be your only option during peak foliage. After a short walk along the river, you’ll come to a green and beautiful pool at the bottom of the falls. There’s a view from the rocks here but be careful it’s almost always wet and slippery. From there, a set of staircases will bring you up three levels around the falls, you’ll have a great view from anywhere along the stairs. When you reach the top, the trail to the right loops around and will take you back to the parking lot. I’d consider Sabbaday Falls & Rocky Gorge the two “must sees” on the highway.

Beautiful hike and views. It's worth taking a trip to Sabbaday Falls. This was such an amazing experience. There are places to sit and places to cook. Family outing or a personal trip

Really cool waterfall. Short hike to see them which is all uphill, but not difficult. Very popular, so parking lot can fill up.

This was a great way to spend an hour and a half on a moderate hike. The trail is a bit uneven with tree roots, so moderate mobility is needed. There are occasional benches. The falls are pretty and the woods are lovely, so it's a popular place for photographers. There's a medium sized car park which overflowed along the road on a weekend in October. Pay $5 to park for the day in any White Mountain car park.

A little busy since it was a holiday weekend, but not too bad. We're able to walk through and stop and get pictures without too many people in the way. It was a bit muddy from all the rain, but that's to be expected. It's not a long walk to the falls, but there are some benches along the way, which is helpful for asthmatics and people with walking difficulties, or even to take a break and just enjoy nature.

Beautiful falls after a short hike. Some interesting history on a plaque, not much but definitely worth the trip.

Great hiking option for families with little children, elderly, or people with mild disabilities. Walk is short and easy. Falls are gorgeous. Plenty of room for everyone. $5 day use charge by NH Forest Service. No trash receptacles, vault toilets.
