Beautiful serene place. Neat clean and very friendly owners. Hands on and well serviced. Owners marvellous people and i would highly recommend the accomodation. The bird life is amazing. The wild life is amazing.

Okay where do I start? The reception was great, he showed us around and made us feel like home. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are super comfy and everything is very clean. It is a one of a kind hostel with a lot of history and interesting location (used a to be a factory, then a train station back in the day) Loves little gem of a place. I will definitely come back anytime soon. P.S Great prices!!

Historical site. Peaceful, quiet, nature, hills, nice dam/river. I'd definitely recommend it if you on a budget around grahamstown.

Falling in love with this place a little more each second! John and his wife are the best people, totally friendly and super to have any conversation with. They are doing such fantastic work here and i really do think they deserve much more credit and recognition!! Simply the best!

I booked a few days before I called john the owner who was very friendly and told me that the backpackers manager Johnathan will check if there are rooms available he sent me a WhatsApp and booked me in I paid via EFT and sent proof of payment they allowed me to check in at 8am and he showed us around and the general rules. For the price I paid a do not complain Below is my score out of five of the place. a) Service 5/5 b) bed rooms neatness 5/5 c) yard 5/5 d) showers/ toilets 3.5/5 {can be cleaned more regularly} e) Wifi 100% very fast overall I would book again it's nice place to spend a few nights on a budget surrounded by nature Thank you for Accommodating me

A place to connect with your soul and nature, well hidden away from the CBD noise. Had an awesome time and enjoyed the Soul Dance silent disco hosted at this place by Lebo wa Mopeli. Will definately have a weekend out with family to experience the rooms and service.
