Such a great spot! The pizza was to die for (highly recommend The Major) and the staff were friendly and efficient. Nice restaurant. Service was good but the aubergine gratin was a little cold and the pork belly skewers were a little more skewer than pork belly. Other than that, we had a very pleasant meal.

Their service was amazing. Their menu has been expanded and I'm impressed. I enjoyed their steak dishes. Their meals are executed to perfection😍. Each bite was to die for.

Wow what an incredible meal!! Buttermilk Chicken waffle, jalapeño honey drizzle and wedges…satisfied beyond words!! Hit all the right Spots!! Thanks Curt!!

The decor is quite aesthetic. The menu is also quite varied and delicious. From Major Fraser, you can just walk into a hair salon, an ice-cream bar and a gift shop. A good place to kill a few hours of time.

Great spot, great food, although we only had two items from the tapas menu. The service was shocking. It was suggested we take a minute to look at the menu even though we wanted a drink immediately. No craft beer available on tap, an alternative, was a not so cold bottled beer. Major delay with placing orders. We ate our finger food, tapas without cutlery or serviettes. The chef was clearly front of house to ensure his great food was being delivered and enjoyed. If you have the patience and time, I am sure the food is worth it!

From the moment we walked in the place warmed my heart. Our waiter Xolelwa was outstanding as she provided us with top service. I greatly appreciated the fact that she was able to advise on the top picks from their food menu. The food was by far the best we have had in Grahamstown up to date, and the drinks equally as good. We had the Philly Cheese Steak Burger and the Buttermilk Chicken and Waffles. SO GOOD!! They also have this very unique mayo that they serve with their meals, It is addictive.🤤 We will be recommending Major Fraser's to everyone and will most definitely be going back for more.

Such a lovely experience, the meal was great from starter to mains. The service was fantastic and despite it being a busy Friday night with end of year/ exams we could have been the only table with the level of attendance and care shown to us. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back the next time we are in town.

Came here for our staff end of year party and everything was great. The food. The drinks. The Atmosphere. Thank you to Hlumelo. His service was top tier. Definitely coming back.
