A blessing in disguise the first place we stopped at was closed. In need of human refueling we came to this hidden gem for a bite before continuing on our travels. The Delish pizza was recommended and it lived up to its name. PLUS when asking for a side of garlic, was brought FRESHLY chopped. Never had that before anywhere. Just what we needed to refuel ourselves to continue

Most delicious butter chicken curry I have ever tasted. It had a lovely warm heat, but was still flavourful and the chicken was oh so tender!! Kids had pizza which had been cooked in a wood fired pizza oven, so delicious. The menu has a vast array of dishes and they are of an interesting variety so you will be spoilt for choice. I was saddened that we are only in Grahamstown for one night, otherwise we would have dined here again. The owner is such a warm and friendly person and the staff are very helpful! Definitely stop in here if you are in town. They also deliver and do take away if you don't have the time for a sit down.

The food was excellent, and the variety of pizzas is truly outstanding. When we asked for extra garlic for our pizza, out came freshly chopped garlic. This has never happened before as we've always received the store-bought crushed garlic at other places. The only disappointment was the ladies' toilet which had spider webs and hadn't been cleaned properly.

I would give Gino's no stars... but then I wouldn't be able to post a review. I live less than a kilometer away from this restaurant. On Sat, 1 Oct '22 my wife ordered 2 pizzas at 6pm for delivery. After 5 phone calls and 3 hours of waiting and ready for bed I drove to the restaurant(in my pjs) and as I arrived at 9pm the pizzas just came out of the oven. There was only one other client and all 4 delivery bikes where in the driveway...Clearly not busy. My wife sent a complaint via Facebook and received this reply: "Hi Jacques(not my wife's name?) I am extremely sorry about that but we're extremely busy and I was tying to tech a new person to trade. I will chat with you now." 12 minutes later another message was sent but you get the idea... Its sad as I took my wife there for our 1st date and for every 1 of our anniversaries. Next year we'll drive to Port Elizabeth, order, eat, drive back and still have an hour to spare.

Do Not recommend. Arrived 45min after my order was confirmed. In the ensuing 45min I was told twice that it would take only 5min. Eventually after 90min I had to leave. Reconned it was not my night for Pizza. They can also keep the money; maybe they need it more...

Absolutely horrible service , took almost 1 and a half hours to make a pasta. This was after being told that it would be 35mins , absolutely shocking

Worst place ever in terms of ordering via phone call, because they confirm pick up at this time and when you arrive for pick up and only then they are putting it. Oh, other than the above, they sometimes forget one of the items you have order. One day we ordered I was with my daughter for a pick and she was like “dad I thought we are doing a pick-up”. I don’t normally do reviews. But when you have been let down 4-5 times then unfortunately I have no choice.

Great pizza but poor service and rude staff. Waited 15 minutes for 4 employees to take down one order, while they ignored the phone ringing, which explains why my call to place an order wasn't answered. When I voiced my displeasure at the situation I got rude reactions rather than an apology.

Honestly the best pizza I have tasted in ages, great size and so filling!! Will definitely be going back for more

The food is good, but they are not organized to deliver orders. Almost 3 hours of waiting for a pizza. The invoice was inside the box, in contact with the pizza. This is not hygienic.

We ordered 2 pizzas for delivery and the order was confirmed. 2 hours later no delivery and no response from restaurant. Drove to the restaurant and they were closed.

Although some of their food is good. I do not think I have had a good experience ordering from Gino's. Right now my order still hasn't arrived after 1 and a half hours. When I ordered my food they told me that they do not have one single dessert item in stock and no strawberry milkshake. My husband is diabetic and this is just unacceptable.. . Food arrived in the middle of this post and unsurprisingly half my order wasn't there. Now I sit waiting for the rest of my order to be collected. I feel sorry for those who have to take the brunt from the customers that are unhappy.
