South Gate is great and super easy to get in. Lovely to be able to drive from the bottom up and get to see the whole park. Staff are always friendly and so great we can finally use a card machine at the bottom but can still use cash. they always check your car which is great to know they checking everyone too. Hope you all enjoy your drive easy for all the cars.

Drove through the park and saw a variety of animals! Staff were quick and efficient. Vegetation is looking great. Lots of elephants around the main camp. 3 or 4 male elephants in the other part of the park.

What an amazing place, we saw many animals and large friendly elephants, the animals are very comfortable around the vehicles and we drove right up to a few buck, definitely worth a visit.

I've been going to the park since 1980's there have been remarkable improvements. It was big, it is now huge. We had a fantastic day travelling the park and finding interesting places where there are many animals.

The most peaceful rest camp ever. Beautiful bushy area with an abundance of bird life. The cottages are well equipped, comfortable and very private. It feels as if you are the only one in the park!

Loved it, as its name says, there are elephants everywhere! The facilities inside is lovely. Ablution facilities were one of the best, cleanest and fresh, for the national parks.

I was highly surprised by the park. By the name I was expecting some elephants obviously but they are plenty of other animals to encounter. It’s in Addo that we had the chance to see the lion and it’s lioness. Great souvenirs boutique on site!

Wonderful place! I loved the beautiful, refreshing scenery, fresh, clean air and the animals too. My family and I had quite an unforgettable adventure. I would really love to go back again soon. Though I feel that along the way from the south gate to the main camp, they need to show how many kilometres you still need to cover. I didnt like the fact that we had to guess how much more driving we needed to do before we could get to the main camp.

My go to animal reserve in South Africa. Nature drives, guided drives at night, gorgeous animals, museums and plenty of entertainment for kids. We usually go camping for 3-4 nights and there's always something to do

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stop over. Saw lots of elephants, zebra, buffalo, warthogs. No big cats on this occasion. Takes about an hour and a half to get to the main camp at park regulation speed, longer if any loops used.

This was an ok experience which could have been so much better. From the forst contact with the staff members the whole experience was adminitrative. You immediatly get the feeling that you are entering some form of beaurocratic system that requires full names, ID numbers, phone numbers, addresses etc.. There is no explanation why all this information is required which is both frustrating and incredibly time consuming. Make sure you have all your records when visiting and bring cash as they dis not seem to have a credit card machine. Then when the system is down, which is a high possibility, everything grinds to a halt. Other than the admin the park itself is relatively small, but has some nice fauna and flora. We did not spot a lot of animals, but might just have had a bad day. Overall I found this park below par with a park such as the Pilansberg or even Dinokeng.

Fantastic and attentive staff. We had a wonderful time viewing a good variety of game in the park. The forest huts were a delight...neat, clean, compact but not crowded. A very comfortable stay.

Christo was the best guide. He was very informative of the region and the animals. Overall best Safari I've been on!

After heavy rains, roads were challenging. We were lucky to get through. Three days later no effort to repair roads. A shambles. Addo is a great facility that lacks maintenance and upkeep in all departments.

Was great Saturday! Saw all the animals even the poor little dung beatels, but just not the lions, but still was a great gem just outside PE/ GQ

Probably one of the best game drives we went on. Lots to see and not disappointed at all. Highly recommended

If slow driving and gawking is your thing, this is a great day out. Plenty of animals and varied vegetation habitats

👍👍 Me and my friend just finished volunteering here. It was one of our best choices we got so far. They have a lot of cats, each one better than the other. The staff are so friendly, and they love the animals so much. They let you feel that you are more than welcome there. The work there is not that ha...
