Awesome stay with William and Theresa! We were very well looked after. So peaceful watching the wildlife at the watering hole from our doorstep. The giraffes were especially impressive!

Warm hospitality...comfortable bed...great braai and breakfast. The animals came to the waterhole.which is just down the hill from the viewing deck. ..impala. ..nyala ..and giraffe. The birdsong was second to none. A wonderful place to relax and be with nature. It was an amazing stay. Thank you William and Teresa.

Aloe and Elephant lodge is now our go to get away in the Eastern Cape. The beds are comfy, the air and the stars are gifts to those of us from the cities. Breakfasts were delicious spreads but the artisan brewed coffee took the show. The owner run environment is personally accommodating and flexible in the way that chain hotels simply cant achieve. Two points of warning, first expect giraffe and buck between the lodge and the parking. walk slow and direct and you shouldn't have any trouble, the second is don't bring you German sedan. The drive way is authentically game farm roads. Though we made it in a rental ford fiesta it was not ideal. Bukkies or SUVs are they way to go here. Again, I highly recommend Aloe and Elephant Lodge. Thanks for the great stay.

We had such an amazing time at this lodge. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and made the most delicious food! Waking up to giraffe and buck at the watering hole was indeed spectacular. Our room was neat and clean and the bedding was luxurious. We will definitely be visiting this establishment again! A definite recommendation.

👍 Owner was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately no fan in the room and we had to sleep with windows and doors open therefore we were attacked by insects all night. The place is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast but does not seem to offer that function anymore

👍👍 Jeanine our host planned everything for us meticulously from the first moment of our enquiry till our departure. It could have been disastrous with a group of 21 people ranging from 2 to 89 years in age. The accommodation has plenty to offer and the personal touch of the host is tangibly warm and w...
