My spiritual home. Second Pumba visit, first time at Water Lodge but Bush lodge didn't disappoint. Room, food, staff all brilliant but special thanks to Brandon our ranger the most knowledgeable, passionate and committed guide who taught us so much.

I rated this place five stars because it's worth every star. Amazing little break, some of the best food we have eaten. Very clued up game ranger/guide by the name of Thomas, intelligent well spoken and worth his weight in gold. Saw lots of animals. I will definitely like to come back and highly recommend this place to anybody.

The most amazing time staying at pumba. Food and service was first class. Every interaction a pleasure and every taste catered for. My wife is a vegetarian and she loved her food. I had venison 4 times in three days and each cut was top draw. Then there are the game drives. Breathtaking. The landscape is another world and the animals are beautiful. We saw 3 of the big 5 and lots more. And we got so close. Less than ten meters in some cases. Thanks to our ranger, the wonderful Stem. Already saving up to go back. We did three nights (6 drives) and would recommend a similar stay.

Magical experience. Every little thing had been carefully considered down to macadamia nougat on your pillowcase each evening which my husband knows nothing about as i ate them all before he noticed! The accommodation was first class as was the service and the safari experience a great introduction to what im sure will be many more.

This is the most marvellous private safari lodge. The perfect combination of superb hospitality and professional safari experience. The staff are very attentive with nothing too much trouble. We experienced close encounters with the famous white lions of Pumba, elephants and giraffe as well as many other wild animals. The lodge looks over the plain and one day we ate our lunch whilst watching an elephant drinking from our waterhole. Monkeys ran about outside keeping staff on their toes and providing entertainment for the guests. A truly magical experience.

Best and most beautiful place with the nicest people and stunning rooms. Our chalet was a glass villa in the bush. Great food and the big 5 on your doorstep. This is a place you must visit

Not a 5 star stay by any means. Bugs alive and dead were found by my partner in every room. There is no wifi or service to speak of. But the View!! The View made this place worth every penny and more. I cannot even begin to explain how magical it is to wake up to see herds of baboons walk through the open fields in front of the balcony. To see elephants walk up to the watering hole while I'm drinking my coffee... I will be back as soon as I can.

😠 Bad way of running business, rooms are outdated. You have to buy towels in order to use them. Showers have no place to store soaps whilst you using them. I will never put my foot in that place again. No service at all. No ironing is allowed whilst you in the room. It's a no no

👍 We had a one night stop on our way to a safari. We realised too late we could have stayed here and they would have arranged safari trips for us. Perhaps next time. The room was simple but very clean and had all amenities. We were very well looked after by Xolelwa and Nandie with a delicious dinner...
