If you are already taking a boat tour through the islands, might as well stop here for some pictures.

Made to the island in the evening. Clean. Be ready for some mosquitos during this time. 🦟

Kind of a cool little stop for historical reference of Nica history. I assume every boat tour out from Granada will stop here. Not a huge place to begin with, but even smaller with the lake levels up this year. Mind your step getting to the top of the tower. Those stairs are not for little ones. They did have staff on top during our visit for those historians. Photo hot spot with a great Vulcan Mombacho backdrop. They do have a small tourist thing (snacks, fresh coconut... ) it's a quick stop during the lake island tour. No fee, as I remember, unless maybe it is part of the boat tour. Went late afternoon, making the sunset views... awesome!

Neat little fortress in a good state of repair. Fun to kayak to on a tour of the Isletas, worth making part of your trip to Granada.
