Good views of lake Granada from this restaurant and hotel spot on the lake shore. Food is fresh and well portioned. Specialty is seafood but there are also chicken and pork options. There are many drink options from local beers and liquors to fresh juices and soft drinks. Prices are higher than most local spots but due to tourist frequenting the area and boat tours next to restaurant they have many tourists stopping bye whom won't mind reasonable prices. Good spot to try for lunch and early dinner to catch views. There is fair amount of free and secured parking out front. Good for larger groups.

What a gorgeous place! It's a very large open air restaurant right on the lake. Excellent breeze, lots of shade, and wonderful views of the boats and birds going by. The shrimp (a la plancha) were absolutely delicious. The fish (also a la plancha) was fine -- likely a lake fish instead of corvina or robalo. Good beer selection, decent house wine, attentive service. They probably take credit card (?), but be prepared to pay cash. We'll be back for sure.

Fresh fish (guapote), tostones con queso (never goes wrong) and a great view of the lake. Peaceful and you can enjoy a great weather.

It is a great view and pleasant setting. The food was delicious and well prepared. My cocktail was a bit lacking but the food more than made up for it. Service was a bit slow but no slower than anywhere else we have been in the country. Still it's worth the visit.

This place is the best, you should drive a bit more down the route in Granada to visit this fantastic place, I could say that the view to the volcano, lake and nature is unique, you can enjoy any type of food like seafood, chicken, or meat, depends what you like, they have alcohol, natural drinks, and soda. The food was delicious, seafood is highly recommend it. I enjoyed the time with my family, my daughter and nephew were happy to see the fantastic view. You can go on tour on the lake, they can take you around to see the islands or others beautiful nature. The price was great, but every cent really counts. See you next time 🔥

Such a beautiful place to enjoy quality food with family and friends. The beauty of the lake with the backdrop of mountains, volcano, and beautiful sky. With a breeze that cools you naturally, and as a bonus keeps mosquitos and flies away ;-) You must stop here for a delicious meal with scenery to match.

Nice hotel and tasty restaurant. You can rent a boat for a lago trip.

This place is GREAT! We loved it. The food was delicious. The portions were big. And the service was very good. Add the perfect location and views of the lake while dining. We had a fantastic meal and will definitely go again.

Muy rica la sopa marinera, pero las Clásicas estaban calentonas. Y pensábamos que por el consumo en el local podíamos acceder a las piscinas, pero hasta ahí nos enteramos que el servicio es pagado...😔

Sazón de la comida, altamente mejorable

Villas Mombacho tiene su apartado de hotel. Así que, opinaré desde "ser huéspedes". Estancia: Un día Opinión: 1. Ubicación: Al estar ubicado cerca de las isletas, la costa de Granada, y además, un poco lejos de lo que es la ciudad. Te permite cambiar el chip a modo "descanso". 2. Instalaciones: Cuentan con habitaciones modernas. Una familiares y otras para una pareja. En el caso de la familiar que se usó, tenía la cerradura de la puerta dañada... 4. Servicio: El personal fue amable, atento y servicial. 5. Comida: El gusto es subjetivo, pero les recomiendo comer pescado. Es delicioso. 6. Relación calidad-precio: Los precios están un poco altos, pero se entiende que es por todo el ambiente que se te brinda. Tanto en la comida como para el apartado de hotel. Conclusión: En general, mi experiencia en el hotel fue positiva. Lo recomendaría a viajeros de negocios, familias, parejas, etc. debido a la zona, que es apartada de la ciudad.

Mala atención en restaurante , cobran servicio y no lo dan, estimados no pagar el servicios, el mesero que me atendió yo quería tomar mi botella qué traía y me prácticamente me estaba obligando a tomar lo que el queria

Great place to hang out, a little pricey, but food portions are good. This is a local and tourist area, the hotel cabins look new and like a good platlce to stay a few nights. Will have to come back a try more from the menu

I had to wait 2 hours to get my meal, and the waiter forgot our order... so not really great, the place is really nice tough

I enjoyed the food and the views. $5 mojitos were delicious. The reason I am giving 4 vs 5 star is because the Familiar fish seems to be the same as Mediano. The di7is that they split the fish in 2 plates and double up on Tostones and rice. But we enjoyed it.

I loved the place and the service. Just one thing, think they need to reconsider the options for alcohol and food to eat at the pool, although it is understandable, it is kind of uncomfortable to move to another place to eat and then return to the pool.

Villas the mombacho is one of those places that you should visit at least once in your life for the aesthetics of it. Being right on the lake, you can enjoy the nice breeze and view of beautiful Granada. Absolutely a Plus. Now to the not so good things: I would say that you mostly pay for the view rather than the food. Though the food is delicious (why the picture shows no food at all 😁), the price of it can be a bit on the high side for Granada and the quantity of can be slightly deceiving, giving that everything is served on large plates. Furthermore, seemed there was only 1 server for 7 tables which had about 6 people each on average (poor guy) so service was slow but absolutely not the waiters fault, just the circumstance he was placed in. In the end, you should visit it once to say you've been there and enjoy the view of it and nice dish, but a second time, is to look at your budget and decide if it's worth the trade.

View deserves at least 4 stars the facility is a solid 3 maybe even a weak 4. I only toured the cabins ans they were clean and very pit together. Air-conditioned and kitted out. But trying to reserve them online was impossible and with whatsapp I finally got someone to answer and they send me prices and a picture of some Bank info to randomly transfer 50% to for reserving. I did not do this. The pool is a cool picture but it looks like it may not be as clean as one might want. Lastly the food was terrible. I read all these things online and say FB and IG pictures and was expecting something good. Turns out they really didn't have anything special that I tried.

The place by the lake is beautiful, my sister in law loved it and the fried fish was delicious. Ask for Rodrigo, he is a gentelman and a very nice waiter.
