This place was amazing. The owner and staff were so accommodating. They helped us visit Mombacho Volcano, Masaya, made sure we were fed and comfortable, it was truly 5 star service. The accommodation itself was wonderful, clean, and right in the forest. We woke up to monkeys one morning! The food was also wonderful. Would recommend this spot to anybody looking to stay in nature. We had such a wonderful time. Thank you for everything!

Amazing Experience! Highly recommend staying a night or two here for the true Mombacho Experience! The staff make the trip extra special, very rustic feel in the middle of a rain forest, its a once in a lifetime kinda experience for most people, so highly recommend doing it. The staff go way above and beyond of whats expected, customer service here from them was better than anywhere else in the country we have experienced. We lost our dog on the trip as he ran off and they helped us go to the villages door to door asking if they seen him and we found him! They even went down the trails with their dogs to try and find him. the food is very well priced for what you get, and within 3 nights of staying here felt like family and was sad to go, will probably be back!

This was one of the best hotel I went to in Nicaragua ! The private bungalows are in the middle of the jungle and a mirador on the top of a tree allows you to have a wonderful view on all the surrounding! The owner is very helpful and nice, he helped us to organise our day at mombacho and proposed a very nice night tour to see animals in the jungle ! I recommend fully, it would be a mistake not to stay there !!!

We had a wonderful stay at this place. They are very accommodating. Good communication with the manager of the lodge. We got to see Monkeys and birds while there. Enjoyed the coolness of the forest

Arrived to howler monkeys in the trees and a warm welcome by Nicolas. Very simple and enjoyable. The open air, tin roofed cabins amplified the feeling of living in nature, especially with the rain. This was the exact rustic experience I was looking for. If you drive here by yourself, verify your vehicle can handle rugged trails.

Amazing setting, although you need a 4wd to get there, but they will pick you up if you don't have one. The rooms are basic and a bit run down but clean and most importantly... No creepy crawlies in my room! A lovely balcony and lots of birds, bats and butterflies to watch. As the location is up on the hills and in the rainforest it is a lot cooler than in Granada or Masaya. However the rooms were not checked before we arrived so I had no water... then no hot water. Also the rooms were not cleaned unless you ask. This was not made clear on arrival so I had a very dirty room by the end of 3 nights! On the whole enjoyed my stay and would go again.

Nice eco lodge resort on mombacho volcano. A wonderful place to stay, watch nature and hike. Small nice huts in the jungle, equipped with beds with mosquito nets. You will be served with fresh coffe in the morning on the teracce of your hut. From there you can watch the monkeys and the birds in the trees. Cynthia is a super friendly host and she and her staff provide also very tasty dinner and lunch packs, if you are out on hikes during the day! Many activities are located close by in walking distance like s.g. horseback riding, zipline adventure above a coffe plantation, hiking trail on mombacho volcano.

(Translated by Google) Great stay with Nicolas, in the heart of the jungle! We are surrounded by the sounds of monkeys, birds, and I even observed sloths for several days! The lodge is located not far from the beautiful Granada, and several sites to see: I recommend!

(Translated by Google) I loved it, Nicolas super friendly and attentive. Sleeping to the sounds of monkeys is another experience. Only it does not have signage to enter, but there in Mombacho they locate you (Original) Me encantó, Nicolas súper amable y atento. Dormir con el ruidos de los monos es otra experiencia. Solo que no tiene señalización para entrar, pero ahí en Mombacho te ubican

The owner of the place was very rude, he charged us twice, so we called him to ask for a refund for on of the charges but he wasn’t welcome to listen and just argued with us. After all of that he canceled our reservation without refund us at all. I don’t know why he behaved like that but for sure I’m not recommending to book there with altitude like that.

👍 Good views of lake Granada from this restaurant and hotel spot on the lake shore. Food is fresh and well portioned. Specialty is seafood but there are also chicken and pork options. There are many drink options from local beers and liquors to fresh juices and soft drinks. Prices are higher than most...

😠 Good coffee but the people that run it just rip tourists off!they charged us $45 per person to do a Puma trail. When I questioned the price they explained that it is a guide + transportation to the top. When we got to the top the published price of a guide was something like $20-22 for a group of up...
