Situated close to Bologna Centrale train station, the hotel evoked fond memories of my student days. Check-in begins at 14:00, and while baggage storage is complimentary, it lacks room access control, which feels a bit peculiar. Alternatively, there's a €5 locker option. The room is spacious, resembling a typical student campus setup.

We used the hostel during a business trip to the Childern Book Fair. It was a great choice. The hostel is really a 10 minute walk from the train station, where you can easily travel from the airport. We had a room for four with three of us staying and the room was fine. It had a private bathroom and clean towels every day. Breakfast was modest but of a high standard for a hostel. There was a bar on the ground floor next to reception where they had a great selection of beers and other drinks. The only thing you have to prepare for is other young visitors to the hotel. And some of them quite understandably wanted to party into the morning and were a bit rowdy. But you have to take that into account in a hostel.

Ever best hostel! High level! I'm impressed. Clean, comfortable, warm and cozy. Helping and welcome personal. It is a possibility to use a kitchen, and laundry. Even an iron is available. I will definitely come back🤗

This is more like a hotel then a hostel but in good way. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. They have a bar but is very overpriced. A really good seating area outside that you can chill under the tree. Also the recommend delivery service is great and would use again.

A long way out from the old central centre of Bologna. A 20 minute walk from Central Station. The residential area is dark walk at night. The large hostel is in a new build and all rooms are up to standard with comfy bunk. Noisy in common areas with little space to relax. Kitchen area and fridges.

Nice hostel with nice modern rooms, overall clean and livable. Service could have been a bit better - the bartender felt like he didn't want to be there, and at check in we were not told about the amenities at all (what is where...). It is a pity we couldn't really find a quiet place to focus on work and could only sit in the cafe/patio area. We didn't mind the 30-minute walk to the city center. However all in all, for the price of ~75 euro per room per night, I would pick a more centrally located B&B next time.

I stayed 1 night at the private room. It is a clean, nice hostel with full of young people and with a very big garden. It is near to Bologna central station. People at reception were nice. Sometimes WiFi does not function. They did not have breakfast, butprice was 5 euro. I slept well, thanks

Honestly? Our experience here was great, rooms are big, beds are comfortable, staff is friendly, and you have a close-by bus that takes you to the city centre. For a hostel at this price it’s a great option. They also have a very nice garden where you can have some food, a beer, or just hang out.

Amazing place! Great atmosphere, nice and helpful staff. All amenities that you could wish for. Kitchen missing a few spoons and glasses for bigger groups, but always clean and enough space. Rooms fairly big, super clean, daily fresh towel, reading lights, small shelf for every bed. Well working air-conditioning and WiFi. Maybe the best thing is the garden surrounding the building with all sorts of sitting areas, sun chairs, chairs and tables, lounge chairs... Only thing missing are curtains on the beds for privacy.

The best hostel i have visited in my trips until now. Very clean very good environment, very nice bar and also the shared kitchen place was very comfortable to cook and meet new people! The people on the reception always helpful. The room(4 beds girl dorm) was always clean and the bed very comfortable. It was only a bit expensive for hostel.

So the hostel itself was not too terrible but the experience as a whole is why I gave it the rating I did. So the walk from the train station isnt that far about 15 minutes but kinda sucks if you have a ton of luggage. The final stretch where you turn right on the last road is just some road that is used for parking cars which looks a little sketchy. I personally didnt feel to unsafe but I was with family who did. (this part is not part of the rating just letting anyone know) We got there early and the room wasnt ready which was fine. They have a closet area monitored with a camera where you can place your belongings while you head out which was helpful. We left for the day and got back in the evening and managed to get into our room and since we had a baby went downstairs and asked about the AC because in the room AC was remote controlled by the desk and it was hot. The front desk staff he would turn it on and he did so. The AC was "turned" on and still read 76 so I went downstairs to verify what the AC was supposed to get down to. The front desk guy said that was it and hes sorry and already made an exception turning it on and he knows that us Americans like it cold. It was kind of frustrating because I didn't think I was behaving or acting non-polite. We ended up opening a window which helped but the next morning my 1 year old had many mosquito bites. This experience is why I rate the hostel at 2 stars. I dunno how the hotel can say it has AC when its controlled by the front desk remotely and unable to be turned off or changed. The room itself was a good size and had 4 lockers and 4 beds and they brought a crib in for my son. They also have that study/reading room and a kitchen fairly well equipped for many individuals. As for the Café they have some beers that are overpriced. If you find a grocery you can buy a 6 pack of the same beer for what they charge you for 1. I guess you're paying for the convenience.

Combo is one of the accommodation choices you will not regret. the staff is very professional, always helpful. they have many common areas. it is always clean and maintained. the atmosphere is very pleasant, youthful and creative. the proximity to the train station makes Combo the right choice both for short visits and for longer stays. I recommend it with the greatest warmth, considering the fact that from the two visits I made to Bologna, I always stayed at Combo

For such a price, this place disappointed me. I liked the cafe/patio area and enjoying a beer there but I can’t say the same about the rooms. We had a private room here. Rooms definitely need maintenance, I touched the cable of the light on the wall and it just broke. Toilet smelled like urine, just like a public toilet, there was hair behind the toilet seat and it was not cleaned very well. Bed sheets were not so clean as well, with brown dots on them. To be honest, I was scared because of the bed bug comments I saw after I booked the room. You can hear all the noise from other rooms and bathrooms. And last of all, breakfast was such a disappointment. There were only cheese, bread, croissant, and cereal. No vegetables or anything. This place should take better care of the rooms and their breakfast service especially for this price.

It is a nice place to stay and party as here some concerts and markets are organized. It is cool to see so many people from around the world. Cons: very ordinary breakfast, no veggies 🥴, same food everyday and not much diversity. Besides, my friends had not a very pleasant situation with hostel stuff killing bets in their room instead just making animals leave

This was quite a nice hostel, very welcoming staff and clean rooms with all the expected amenities. The only downsides was that it was a bit of a walk away from the city centre - I enjoy walking but might be a pain for some people. The bigger problem I found was the kitchen, it was really big with lots of cooktops and sinks but there was no organisation to anything so we couldn’t really find anything. I resorted to just eating 2 minute ramen for dinner to skip the hassle

Rooms were excellent, and the shower was very good. Clean towels were provided. However, for me hostels should be judged on location + atmosphere + value for money. Unfortunately, Combo fails on all accounts. The location is DREADFUL. It's not in the centre of Bologna (at all) and apart from being close (ish) to the train station, it is quite a walk (about 30 minutes) into the city centre of Bologna. You're basically stuck out in an industrial area suburb of the city. This wouldn't be too much of a problem, if the cost was slightly cheaper - this is an expensive hostel. Atmosphere. There isn't really an atmosphere. The common rooms are located in the basement, and to call them dingy would be the understatement of the year. There are a couple of worn out chairs and desks in the common room, and that is basically it...The reception area is moderately better, although the layout is good if you want to sit and work, it is not so good if you want to socialise. Overall, I would not recommend - possibly one of the worst hostel experiences I have had in my life. (Bologna is great though!)

The main benefit of this hostel is that it is quiet and reasonably priced. For this, it is very far away from Bologna. It’s close to the train station, but you will have to walk a long way on a sort of desolate road past car dealerships to reach any part of the city, although you can take a bus. It’s also at least 20 minutes to the nearest grocery store. The rooms are fine though- clean and with big lockers and a clean bathroom. But what I did find strange is that you have to put your keycard in a slot to use the lights which is just weird in a communal room. There’s a large kitchen in the basement although it didn’t have a ton of supplies. Plus a large garden area shared with the student housing in part of the building. This is a fine place to stay, but if you’re hoping to be able to reach the center of Bologna easily, I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

The place was really comfortable and clean. Everything was lovely, especially the people who worked there. They gave us really great advice and tips for good spots to discover in Bologna. Also ask Marco for iced coffee (but you have to find the right Marco out of the 5 😂). It was a pleasure!

One of the nice and comfortable accommodation spot. It is a bit outside of the center but you can take bus or walk to city center. There is a huge common kitchen, even it seems very full, you can still find a place to cook your meal. The place has very nice garden, study room, and entertainment rooms. You may also request to use private study rooms. Every room has its own bathroom. I recommend you to have a lock. There is also nice talkative and helper stuff. Enjoy your stay.

Recommend!!! The staff is amazing!!! The facilities are clean and include in every room a bathroom, bar, kitchen, laundry room, study and relax room and parking. It's close to the train station. In addition, they provide a bath towel and laggage room to leave sraff before the check in and after the check out.

The beds were quite comfy, everything was clean, study/reading area, cinema saloon, nice bar etc., the facilities were good. It's not well located though, it's too far to city center considering size of Bologna and nothing to see and do around. Still walking distance to main train station. Also the electricity works with room card, which is weird for a hostel (someone can just take it and leave away..)

The staff was very polite and welcoming, helped us out with everything. The room was very spacious and the whole hostel campus was beautiful. Walking distance from the main station. We enjoyed our stay.

Ciao! I booked that by mistake considering it hotel but its hostel concept actually.. The ambience is nice and peaceful and the outdoor sitting is very good. The food (breakfast) is average and the coffee is bad. The rooms are clean and tidy but the corridor needs some attention. The reception guys are very helpful and gentle. They explained everything in details. I was expecting the disturbing stay but it was quite good fortunately.. 10 mins walk from Bologna Centrale Station. 3 floor building with the study, laundry & kitchen rooms. Not for the families in my personal opinion although I saw some families there.

Perfect place for backpackers and those who enjoy socializing on the go. The hostel is big, the rooms are comfortable, great kitchen for cooking, a nice common area to hang out and get to know people. I ended up extending my stay and they took care of it swiftly. It's very cosy in the evening, the people at the reception choose excellent music to play. Bologna Centrale station is close by, the airport is easy to reach by bus or train and it doesn't take too long to walk to the city center. I loved it!

Great place, with a nice staff, a 24/7 bar (in theory, if the students are partying too hard they close it), spacious rooms. Location is a bit far from the center but next to the station so its okay.

Nice and friendly atmosphere. Big rooms. Very clean. The snag is the long depressing via Carracci leading to the hotel which is a nice modern building in a garden with deck chairs, little tables and chairs. For some reason the building number 69/14 is preceded by long line of condominiums numbered 71 abcdef etc. Rather confusing. Fortunately Glovo people helped us to find the way

If you re not scared of 30 minutes walk to the center, this is a very affordable place to stay in Bologna. Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff, also great pricing for Booking Genius Level 2. It's a bit offside and it can look scary to walk to the hostel at night time but the neighbourhood is quite good actually.

Decent enough with very friendly price. If you plan to use it only for resting and taking a shower it's absolutely worth it. It's not in the center of the city but in close proximity to train station and airport. For the price and facilities quality, it will be unlikely to find something else. I highly recommend it. Also very quiet.

Great facilities, except from the kitchen that has few utensils and none spices. The rooms are great, and they include towels, soap and shampoo on the fare.

  • 4/5 Jorn M. 1 year ago on Google
The family rooms are quite spacious but spartan. Our room was clean and pretty empty apart from two beds and a bunk bed. The bathroom en suite was also quite large and the shower nice and warm. I did not like the mosquitos that clearly plagued the place. The staff is very friendly. The train station is conveniently close.

  • 4/5 B. L. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are very clean and modern, the breakfast is nice, the outside area is great for just relaxing, but it just doesn't feel cosy at all. If you want to meet people and feel the city, don't come here. If you just want to have a hub from where to start your own thing, and don't care about the location (a bit of center, and kind of creepy), come here.

  • 4/5 Euthimios K. 2 years ago on Google
I stayed here for about a month, honestly they do everything and they have everything for you to have the best experience possible, but, at the end of the day, whether you will or not depends on the people living with you. 4/5 since most of the roommates shared the mentality of "I'm in the hostel just to have a bed at night not to spend the whole day here and so are the roommates so I need to respect them"

  • 3/5 Maza P. 2 years ago on Google
The hostel is ok and the staff is cool. inside the room there is a separation wall for the locker area which is nice. The 3 stars go to three negative things: 1 location - it seems like this hostel is nearby everything but it isn't. It is a very strange isolated area behind the train lines. You will need to either walk 30min or take a taxi to get there, and I warn you: Taxis in Bologna are VERY expensive and hard to get. Trips to the downtown area 15-20€. Definitely look for something closer (I am a huge hiker, walking 20km a day in my trips but after walking all the long the last thing I wanted to do is walk an extra 40 min to arrive at the hostel) 2 beds - it was uncomfortable 3 walls and corridor area - the walls are probably made of paper because I could hear everything from people in other rooms or passing by the corridor.

Purpose built to be a hostel, great. Free filtered water, how can other places in Italy not have that! Got a little bit of beat music noise after an musical event had finished, I think it was from speakers/recorded. Not insane, but something to watch out for. After 11PM, better shut everything down.

  • 4/5 Rima S. 1 year ago on Google
Marina was at the reception when I checked in. She was kind and very helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was quite limited but enjoyable nonetheless. There is a bus stop that's quite close in proximity that takes you to the city centre , however the bus doesn't pass by on Sundays and the hotel is a bit far by foot. There is a very cosy sitting area outside. In general it was a great experience and I would recommend the stay.

I love this place because if you looking for cheap place in bologna close to station and you want to feel your self as home this is the right place 😊 the staff is super welcoming people and very polite persons in there awesome hostel

  • 5/5 Nast D. 2 years ago on Google
The hostel is in a good location, only 15' away from the center on foot. The rooms are spacious and clean. It has a big beautiful garden, young people and the staff is very kind and chill. The only thing it could be better is the breakfast but I highly recommend it, especially for young people or students!

  • 5/5 Marc M. 2 years ago on Google
A perfect hostel for young people. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good wifi, practical rooms, good atmosphere and close to the trainstation. There is a bar, where you can enjoy some drinks in the evening and there is a very nice atmosphere. The breakfast could be better, but it’s still fine. Overall, good hostel for young people visiting bologna, especially backpackers.

  • 4/5 Baptiste B. 2 years ago on Google
Very good hostel. Be aware that it’s not really well located (5 min « behind » the gare, 15+ min from the centre). If you are ok with this: the building is very well maintained, rooms are clean and with good equipment + all you need (shower gel, towels, …). Staff is very friendly. Terrasse and bar are great to have some good time. Thanks!
