Perfect for the Grand Canyon ! The lobby really does look like a lodge, and they have a complimentary coffee and tea station. Our room was super spacious, cool, and clean. It's a really short drive to the South Rim entrance, and there's many places w/in walking distance. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

As first-time visitors to the Grand Canyon, we weren't sure we would be able to find a room but we lucked out with this lodge being able to find a motel room here. The entrance to the front desk is quite pretty and the staff was very welcoming. If you don't have a room in the main lodge, you will have a short walk and/or drive to the motel which is located on the other side of the building. Our room was on the second level, close to the private office. Quite easy to get to via stairs and a short drive to the Grand Canyon entrance. The room was clean but did have a bit of the old motel smell and had nice photos of the Grand Canyon on the wall. The bathroom was clean and again, we were happy to find a room late in the evening during the peak season. I really loved the postcards in the room and took them as a souvenir to send to family and friends. I would stay here again if we needed a place late in the evening in the Grand Canyon.

For a regional hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort the hotel offered. It's a pet-friendly hotel, the rooms are basic but comfortable. There is no restaurant within, only thing they offer is a snack machine and free coffee in the lobby. But the "village" had plenty of places to grab food or buy groceries, all within walking distance. The pool was very small. I mean it was a glorified hot tub. But overall, better than I expected.

I've got to spill the beans about my recent stay at the Grand Canyon hotel – it was a total letdown, and I feel like I need to give you the heads-up. Those glowing Google reviews? Something's fishy there. 1st, our room was infested with bed bugs. The first night brought severe itching, and subsequent inspections unveiled bumps on my legs and feet. The discomfort lingered for days, highlighting a distressing lack of attention to basic hygiene. 2nd, I found the towel from the shelf is wet, at beginnig, I thought I accidently spray the water onto it, but when I unfold it I found the other side is full of dirty, nothing can be more disgusting like this! When we approached the front desk to voice our concerns, we were met with an astonishing lack of professionalism. The staff appeared annoyed and irritated, dismissively attributing the bed bug issue to our visit to the national park. This explanation was absurd, given that our park excursion occurred the following morning, and we took precautions by wearing shoes. The front desk staff's condescending and impatient attitude tainted our entire experience. Instead of addressing the problems and displaying empathy, they chose to deflect blame with baseless excuses. Such a lack of customer service is inexcusable, particularly considering the expectations one has when staying at a hotel near a renowned attraction like the Grand Canyon. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel was not only uncomfortable but also frustrating due to the dismissive behavior of the staff. I strongly urge potential guests to explore alternative accommodations to ensure a more pleasant and bug-free experience.

Great stay! Would absolutely come again. All went smoothly, nice staff. Super clean everywhere, and it’s a pretty place, all is newly renovated. A few food options right next door which is nice. For safety as a single female traveler I asked for 2nd or 3rd floor on the hotel side, and they accommodated with the 3rd floor. I only stayed one night but it was over busy Labor Day weekend and it was super QUIET in my room. This is important to me at night. You can hear a bit if people are talking in hallway but that’s rare and was only during day. I didn’t hear either neighbor once, maybe just got lucky with quiet people but I also don’t think the walls are too thin, so that’s good. My window was fairly close to the street but couldn’t really hear traffic either (which lessens a lot at night anyway).

A variety of clean, spacious rooms available at VERY reasonable prices, that are within a 10 minute drive of Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim entrance. Every single staff member from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were so friendly and welcoming. They are also a dog-friendly hotel and gladly welcomed our Labrador retriever traveling with us. Cannot more highly recommend the Red Feather Lodge if you're visiting the Grand Canyon!

WOW!! This hotel was great! It was clean, rooms were a bit small, but slept great! Quiet for the most part, it is kid friendly so lots of families moving in the hallways in the morning to get to their activities. The staff was very friendly, the bathroom was super clean and the water pressure was great! The lobby was very comforting, they offered discounts on meals for certain places and were able to offer places to eat for those in a budget. Very accommodating!

The rooms, grounds, and pool were fairly clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, coffee in the lobby, no breakfast, but they gave you discounts at local restaurants. Great proximity to The Grand Canyon! Parking was difficult later in the evening. Dog walking areas are somewhat limited. The pool area is pretty small. A bit expensive for what you get, but considering the location probably reasonable.

My family stayed here on our mini vacation trip to the Grand Canyon. This Hotel was amazing. We had wonderful service from the staff. Our check in time was said to be at 4pm and was an upstairs room. We drove in from SoCal to see the Grand Canyon. I drove all night long (7 hours) and was extremely tired after the trip. I went to the front desk and asked the woman at the counter if it was possible that our room was ready early. She not only checked us in early (9am) but she also upgraded us to the main hotel and a room on the bottom floor for my mom to get to easier. The hotel beds were comfy, the coffee in the room was excellent, the mini fridge worked well to keep our things cols, and the AC was awesome. The pool was great and the hot tub. We loved our stay here. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. My 7 year old rated them a 6 star rating :D

Stayed one night for a flyover. Great location close to the airport and the actual canyon. Rooms were very clean and feels like you're staying at a more luxurious place. Stayed in a two queen room. Tad small but if you're spending most of the day outside anyway its a nice place to rest up. Mattresses are soft and a little warn in, body dents, but I still had a great night's sleep. There is even a spot in the lobby for free coffee and hot tea, a public computer, and small charging station.

My family was moving from the East Coast to the Midwest and we decided to stop by the Grand Canyon last minute. We had also been awake for more than 24 hours and needed sleep. Unfortunately, most of the hotels around this area don't accept pets, cats specifically. Thankfully, this hotel was not fully booked. The front desk was so kind and very helpful in getting us checked in with our room ~ in less than 15 minutes. Very family-friendly. The Plaza Bonita Restaurant next to this hotel was also exceptional. Hotel offers resto discount. Good food, kind people, and they are proud, family owned business. Cannot wait to visit them again!

We had a GREAT time & the staff was very helpful & kind. You must understand that it's a village type of setting outside a national park; the amenities & conveniences of a city or town do not apply the next town (Flagstaff) is 30+ mins away. It's a great hotel, clean, well maintained & you can walk to wherever you want BECAUSE it's a village. If we ever visit the Grand Canyon again we'll definitely book there again.

This hotel clearly surpassed our expectations during our Grand Canyon visit. Extremely clean everywhere, all renovated rooms and hotel interior. Comfortable rooms, beds and bathrooms. Housekeeping is remarkable - they come everyday, replace towels, clean up, provide and replace toiletry. The pool is unbelievably clean and pleasant and so is the jacuzzi. Location is superb, with a great restaurant adjacent, for which they give you a discount when you are a guest of the hotel - The Plaza Bonita restaurant. Highly recommend!

I spent 4 nights at Red Feather Lodge and could not have been more pleased. The front desk staff were cheerful and very helpful. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was also clean, modern and the housekeeping staff were excellent. This is a perfect place to stay for a restful night at Grand Canyon.

My family and I stayed at the Red Feather Lodge in one of the motel rooms. The location is perfect for visiting the Grand Canyon, only a few miles from the main entrance. The check-in experience was fast, friendly and easy. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed the free hot cocoa and tea available in the lobby. Perhaps most importantly, the price was great compared to all the other places in the area! We would definitely recommend staying here and we will stay here again if visiting the Grand Canyon again in the future.

Our stay at the Red Feather Lodge was very good. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The only negative...the air conditioner was loud and made very annoying sounds. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Location is perfect for visiting the South rim of the Grand Canyon, which was amazing.

We loved this hotel! The location was perfect and the bed was really comfortable and the staff was very helpful in orienting us to the grand canyon. I liked that I could buy our canyon pass there, get the maps, and get advice before heading there. We also liked the hot chocolate and tea in the lobby.

Great location to Grand Canyon. Friendly service! Several ok restaurants. Not much around as stores/food. We stayed in the motel section. It’s a little dated but you can tell they’ve made improvements. The room had a musty humid smell/fill but got better after adjusting the A/C. The A/C was a bit loud and it had to run basically all night. It was fine for a 1 night stay.

My husband and I were surprised at the quality during our stay over the last few days. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Beds are kind of hard but acceptable, would be comfortable if you like firmness (I really don't tho). Nothing fancy but still very nice for the price. It was a lot cheaper than other hotels in the area and we enjoyed our stay.

Red Feather Lodge was a good spot to stay near the Grand Canyon. We booked our trip to the Grand Canyon last minute so there were not too many options available and we couldn’t stay in the national park. It was a quick drive to the Grand Canyon national park. I think if I would have booked earlier or if I come back, I would try to stay in the Grand Canyon National Park. At the Red Feather Lodge, you can stay at the hotel or the motel. They share the same Lobby and Pool. We stayed at the Hotel and the room was very clean and good location.

Very good location proximal to the Grand Canyon south rim and along the Arizona hiking trail. Near a general store and other amenities. Wifi was fine. Rooms were fine and there is a small pool. There is also a laundry room; very nice when on an extended trip.

Stayed here for 2 nights and I was very happy with the hotel. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if I was in the area. They are close to the south rim Grand Canyon entrance. Also in the parking lot adjacent to the hotel is an excellent Mexican restaurant that offers a 10% discount with your room key. The hotel has a nice laundry facility and quarters are available at the front desk- each machine is $1.50. I checked nearby hotels that were priced around $400 a night for my travel dates but I didn't want to pay that much. I took a chance with the Red Feather at half the price and I'm glad I did. This is a family owned hotel and they really make an effort to make your stay comfortable. They don't offer breakfast but truly it's not a deal breaker for me. I will mention that the town consist of 1 mile and there aren't a lot of food choices available and all are pricey. Also, the town closes early so plan accordingly. Another thing I'll mention is we took a tour with "The Original Grand Canyon Jeep Tours & Safari's" which picks up across the street from this hotel at McDonalds. It's super convenient since you don't need to drive. Overall, it's a great hotel, with nice staff that made our stay enjoyable.

This place is great! It very clean, very affordable, and the fact that you are so close to the Grand Canyon entrance all make staying here a great choice. My family loved how everything (foods, gift shops, etc) was all in walking distance. We are planning to return as soon as we can. The staff was friendly and informative too. Thanks for making this stretch of our vacation a great memory.

I stayed on the hotel side. The front desk was friendly. There was no free breakfast. Though they did have 2 restaurants with a discount. One of them was Foodie. The review on it weren’t great. One lady said that after her husband ate the Caesar Salad. He got food poisoned and had to spend 150 dollars for medical support. The rooms where clean. There was a microwave and coffee maker. Overall an average room. It has a great location though. It’s great if you’re going to the Grand Canyon.

We went in with no reservation and said a prayer that there would be a room available. Front desk service was awesome and the person who assisted us, I believe her name is Gina, was super nice and helpful. Rooms were adequate, and had coffee in room. The only thing that would have made it better was breakfast.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a marvelous motel just minutes away from the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine eagerness to ensure my stay was exceptional. Location: The motel's location is absolutely unbeatable. Situated mere minutes from the Grand Canyon, it provided the perfect base for my exploration of this natural wonder. The convenience of being so close to such a breathtaking attraction was a dream come true. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Great place to stay just outside the Grand Canyon. The check-in staff were especially helpful and accommodating. It was snowing when we arrived and our vehicle was slipping, unable to drive up a small incline to the last open parking spots. Divine went out of her way to find us a space near the office where our vehicle was able to drive. She moved her own car to a space further away. She deserves a medal! Guest service here is a priority. Thank you so much!!

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! The room decor is lovely, updated with nice shampoo, conditioner and body lotion shower amenities. Also, a hair dryer and steam iron provided. Small fridge and coffee maker in the room are so handy. Let me tell you about the incredible coffee in the lobby…. 24/7… and they have regular and decaf always hot and ready. One member of my group forgot her toothbrush, and the desk assistant happily provided one. We were thrilled with the location, cleanliness and price!
