Majestic Grand breathtaking stunning views of The Grand Canyon can be seen from anywhere and any side of the park . We drove from Prescott, the drive from Ashfork is beautiful and easy . We reached the South Entrance at 9:30 am thinking we were quite early but still had to wait 8-10 mins to enter , it was that crowded . So try going as early as possible, as it gets crowded as the day goes by . The directions were clear and the map very helpful, we took the shuttle for the orange and Red routes, the drivers were knowledgeable and helpful.

Very informative stop and filled with some fun exhibits. I particularly enjoyed that they had signs instructing you what to do based on your time available. It was very helpful based on not knowing how long everything would take. Definitely make this your first stop of the trip through the Grand Canyon.

We travelled the South rim and loved the views from all of the lookout points. Our drive took 3 times longer than we planned due to all of the stops we made. Sadly, a lot of services were closed, some due to a storm that rolled through the canyon. But even watching the storm was fun. We met a curious squirrel, and saw a few other creatures that were unconcerned with our presence, but we did our best not to invade their space.

This canyon was dug during the building of the Hoover Dam. There were no smart phones or email then so apparently once the workers dug enough for the dam, they never got the message to stop and kept digging. And now here we have the Grand Canyon. Great views. Location isn't near any interstate, and falling in will ruin your day but otherwise a must see!

The Pink Jeep tours, Imax movie, pizza hut, ice cream, and a small gift shop are located here. We visited the gift shop. The customer service was amazing and enjoyed being here while we prepped to catch the bus.

It is snowing! Movie is not showing until spring of 2023. They let us know about the senior over 65 pass, 20 for 1 year or 80 for lifetime.

Great display of the canyon, plus nice selection of gifts. Great selection of stickers (Better than the visitor centers in the park). Joined by a restaurant and theater. Good stop for info.

Really great experience so much to do before you even get to the canyon. When you get there and you have kids go to the family visitor center there are cool souvenirs and you can get the kids sighned up to be Jr. Rangers and pick up badges at any or all National Parks. The Canyon was truly an amazing site and you can take different busses for free to see other sites while you are there. Also if you have a family member with a disability you can get in for free and that member can receive a card to get in free for life to all National Parks.

Great trip to the Grand Canyon. It was not too crowded for a holiday weekend. Lots of walking and exploring. Had a great time.

Knowledgeable staff. Great IMAX history of the park. You can buy a park pass from the machine and save yourself and everyone else 30 seconds at the gate. There's lots of shopping. We didn't try the food.

The place once called National Geographic Visitor Center later turned in Grand Canyon Visitor Center. A great experience in IMAX theatre and sufficient dine in place with variety of meals. Indeed an adventure store is a good place to collect souvenir. Children under 5 are free and other are charged with nominal entry ticket.

Great information and souvenir shop. Pizza Hut and another restaurant to get a bite before the pink jeep tour. Enjoy the IMAX theater movie about the Grand Canyon. Such majestic views of the canyon on rte 64. Many view points to enjoy on the way from Tusayan to the Navajo View.

Short film about the Grand Canyon, whet our appetite to hike into the canyon to the river. We enjoyed the canyon, the river, the weather. Came away sore and exhausted but exhilarated to see an amazing place up close.

A good and not expensive cafe for lunch before honoring the Grand Canyon. There is also an excellent imax cinema. Near the cafe there are places for a picnic and rest before the trip.

Grand Canyon visitor center is another place. You can learn a lot they have a lot of information then you can have a way to before you go to the Grand Canyon. You can also use the restroom to refresh and ask questions if you have any of their staff so very cordial and already been there and said they will answer you like that with :-) facets.
