Amazing food! Lots of homemade deliciousness. Theres always at least 5 different to die for homemade soups of all varieties and a large menu with lots of choices. The pastas are my favorite! Their daily specials go above and beyond expectations. Save room for dessert theres a crazy amount of homemade dessert options as well! Awesome service and amazing food highly recommend!

The Village Inn is a great place for friends, families, couples, or to have a drink or bite to eat by yourself. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable, and the wait staff is always as friendly as could be. My favorite part of the menu is the desserts! They are always homemade (just like the main menu) and never frozen or store bought. There are so many choices and change with the seasons. This is a place where I've never sent a dish back and always left full. I stop in once a week or every other week when I don't want to cook and want a homemade meal. I can't say enough positive things. It's been around for many years and is a staple on Grand Island...and for good reason!

An intimate little venue that is a Grand Island staple with delicious food and fantastic service. Their fish fry is spectacular and it's easy to see why it was voted the best of 716. Great beer selection and the side dishes are on point as well. The food was also brought out fairly quickly and the staff treats you like you're family while you're here. I came here growing up and almost 20 years later, it's still just as great as I remember.

Played golf at Beaver Island with a couple local guys , Mike and Dave. We are from FL and don’t know the area so we asked for a recommendation for food. They told us you couldn’t go wrong with Village Inn. They we right this was a great place. The burgers were the best I have had, they had some beer on tap and their Key Lime Pie was delicious. If you find yourself in the area of Buffalo or Niagara you need to stop.

I’m on a fishing trip and the guide recommended “The Village Inn” to eat and it was fantastic. The wings were some of the best, if not the best, and I had Carrot Cake for desert, and it was the best I’ve ever eaten. The staff was very efficient and extremely friendly and the food didn’t take long at all. I would highly recommend this place if anybody was in this area. The menu has a big variety of food items to choose from. Highly pleased with this great restaurant.

We just left the village inn for dinner 8/8. Our waitress I think was Ava couldn't really tell, but that was tge name on the receipt. She took our order and NEVER CAME BACK TO SEE HOW EVERYTHING WAS. She was very attentive to the table next to us. But I guess we were Invisible to her. We asked for a take out container and the bill...Yeah she never brought that either. There was a very friendly young lady who got our drinks.. and ended up getting us our bill and container. Not sure of her name.. we always reward good service with a high tip..tonight was the exception .. we will not be returning.

The food was very good. The restaurant seemed run down and was kinda slow for getting out the food. Regardless the meal was delicious.

Never had a bad meal, great people, very friendly. The steak sub at lunch, best ever. Had the other half the next day cold. Best as great.

A staple establishment of Grand Island and its community; located in the historic Ferry Village. In business since 1988, their authentic homemade dishes have claimed many local awards. Also, don’t skip dessert, which are made in-house and are absolutely phenomenal. An excellent choice for a casual business lunch or when catching up with friends and colleagues.

I used to work there over the summer of 2022 and a few people other than myself were treated disrespectfully while working there. Although I had only worked two shifts, the owner had never taken time to listen to me or put me into the system. He also never took my information when I tried to give him my working papers since at the time, I was not 18 yet. He didn’t answer any of my text messages following that either. And to top it all off, he never paid me for the 14 to 16 hours that I had worked there. I tried to get into contact with him since then, but he has yet to answer me. Long story short, he has done this to myself and many other people that I have met and I would recommend that people that visit this place frequently realize the kind of person the owner is and the atmosphere that he was creating while I was being there. Just take into consideration for one moment that behind the kitchen doors, everything isn’t as it seems.

The staff was welcoming and friendly, speedy service and wonderful food. We had the French onion soup, seafood croissant and fish fry. It was so nice to have so many choices for sides for the fish fry and one is potato pancakes which were awesome! All were great portions and wonderful tasting!

Went with my 3 cousins after checking out thr Buffalo Launch Club for a baby shower. We could have ate there but someone suggested check out The Village Inn and I'm so glad we did. It's an out of the way small restaurant, the place was packed. Three of us tried the crab bisque soup and it was hands down the best soup ever, loaded with crab and creamy, absorbed delicious. Everything that followed was just as good. I can't wait to go back 😊

The best fish fry in town, and the service was outstanding as usual. Mike and his team hit it out of the park on every visit! Good selection of draft and bottled beers. The home made soups are fantastic. If your a clam chowder fanatic, I highly recommend the lemon, Tabasco clam chowder. Fresh made deserts are good to go because you won't have room for them after your meal!

Sept 2, 2022 I ate lunch here on Monday August 29, 2022 with a long time friend and my father. We all have pretty much the same review, so I decided to come on here and write it. We loved our experience‼️ The menu is wonderful and has something for everyone. The food and beverages are delicious and the service is outstanding. I love the changing dessert menu! I am giving 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ because the owners need to invest some time and money into the OUTSIDE of the restaurant. ⛔First, add a wheelchair ramp to the front entrance. ⛔Second, add a wooden sign 🪧 across the street by the extra parking lot with a thick red arrow ⬅️ directing patrons to the additional parking. Also, I suggest to invest in a pair of hedge trimmers to clean up that area and raise it to the standard of the classy restaurant you have created.

Such a cute place! Feels like a pub, small, cozy, full Of character, beer on tap and tasty food. A favorite of my aunts from years ago. Glad I found it.
