The only reason for the 3 stars is that every time I visit, the experience is completely different. I have had servers who could work in the best restaurants in this country, and I have also experienced servers that would not be able to get a job at the nearest fast food establishment. I have had steaks that were cooked to medium rare perfection, and lamb with potatoes and carrots that were undercooked. The restaurant itself is clean with attractive decor. I would only recommend going at a time of day during golfing season when the golfers are either on the course, or later evening. During off-season, this is not an issue. I have found that after golfing has ended for the day, the bar area immediately fills up and the volume of noise becomes unbearable.

Sat outside overlooking the golf course, great view. The food was excellent. I come from a restaurant background and am not easily impressed but I was very impressed. I rate this among the top restaurants in Buffalo. I will be back ASAP . Seriously good food.

I had a bereavement luncheon and the Grand Island buffet was delicious. Jessica was great and organized the lunch at a last minute notice. Donna coordinated the food and she is very nice and helpful. 5/9/21 Mothers Day Brunch/Lunch was such an enjoyable meal and perfect place to celebrate our mother’s special day. The food and service was excellent. They had beautiful menus printed up for everyone and a pretty reserved sign with my name for the table. Thank you for your excellent and friendly customer service.

Wonderful food, perfect service and a fun location

Great food and friendly service. The deck provides a nice view of the golf course. They have a range of dinners and their beef tenderloin sandwich is sublime. One of the best sandwiches in Buffalo. Nice fish fry and other entrees as well.

Went there for brunch and couldn't have been happier with the selection of items. Servers were all very attentive, and the staff was accommodating to last minute changes. Brunch will run you about $31.54 per person, soft drinks are $2.00 and there's a mandatory tip of 18% no matter if you are a party of 1 or a 100.

I had a Baby Shower for my daughter on December 3rd, 2022. It was the second family Baby Shower I’ve had there this year! Everything was perfect! They had the room decorated for Christmas beautifully💜 The food was outstanding and the service was amazing! The owner, Diane, answered all my concerns and even had the pink napkins made in to the shape of Christmas trees🎄💜. If you are thinking of hosting a special event or dinner I highly recommend Ellden’s. You won’t be disappointed👍

This place has fabulous food. Staff is absolutely great. I was a little iffy on it at first because I'm not a "golf course" person but they were welcoming and my iffy-ness wore off quickly. Reuben sandwich is top notch, tater tots are the best I've ever had, house salad with the house dressing is delicious.

Had a very nice event here. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Jessica was amazing to work with. Diane was very welcoming, took care of any issue small or large.

Had my daughters bridal shower brunch there today. Everything went perfect! Diane was very easy to work with, very accommodating and everything went as was planned. The room looked great, food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you again for making it easy to have a joyous celebration without any headaches. Would definitely book an event there again!

I ordered a vegetarian pasta dish which should have included mushrooms one of the reasons I ordered it. When it was served I noticed there were no mushrooms. I brought it to the attention of both the server and the manager who both just sort of shrugged it off and said they were sorry. Evidently they ran out of mushrooms but didn't mention it when I ordered it. I feel they should have taken something off the tab or offered a complimentary dessert etc. Nothing like that happened. Pennywise pound foolish. Disappointing dinner.

Food was good but. Chef didn’t give me discount when I know his son.😀
