👍 As far as shooting ranges go, one of the nicest I've ever been to. As far as shooting ranges go, one of the nicest I've ever been to. We were there for the 4H National Shooting Sports Championships so I'm only marking 4 stars based on the fact I didn't see the whole facility. The areas we visited were for archery, so open grassy areas near the entrance and the sporting clays course was where our 3D course was setup. I would have liked to shoot the sporting clays course myself and did wander to look at the trap/skeet area and it was much nicer than my local places. Maybe will get back out there to visit again, but it won't be the last week of June!

Great bunch of guys out here! You can pretty much do any type of shotgun shooting you want. Rifle ranges go from close up, all the way past 600yards. This is a pretty safe shooting range, and if I had any kids, wouldn’t hesitate to bring them here. To keep everyone safe there is a safety sheet you have to read over and sign, unloaded chamber indicators are required, and so are hearing/eye protection. Range officers are well trained to keep everyone safe. If you’re having trouble finding a range before deer season, go here! This is probably one of the few ranges I have found that if it’s been raining, there are not any bad roads. So feel free to go here regardless of the weather, as long as they say they are open.

The workers were super nice. Going through the front gates you are expecting it to the this amazing shooting range. Far from it. It truly has a lot of potential.really do not think the County will sink money into it. however it does have camp sites. And one restroom.

Run by boomers. They aren't open November 10, for veterans day. Yet veterans day is the 11th not the 10th. Also, the 10th is the day before hunting season, so they should be open. But don't worry you can check their Google maps for the hours... except they don't update it. They aren't open, except for the fact they have a guy working there to tell you they aren't open... Not to mention the boomer style range safety officers. No shooting from the hip? No shooting more than once per second. No drawing from the holster? Fudd range

My first trip to Grand Island for my daughter's college trap team. The range is huge and the facilities are amazing. Really nice place to shoot.

Pretty good range, but the cost is incredibly high. There's not exactly a lot of competition in GI, so I think a $10 fee would be quite appropriate. I'd sure be able to convince more friends to come with me more often, that's for sure.

Great range for shotgun events. Have a great sporting clays course, 9 skeet and trap ranges, bunker trap I skeet and 5stand. Their rifle and pistol ranges are probably the best in the state. They also have about 10 campong spots with power and water. We brought our camper when we shot this weekend and it was nice to stay on-site. AFTer hours are quiet and peaceful with alotof wildlife to watch while lounging.

Today (08-05-16) was my first visit to the park. I was very impressed. It's a spacious facility with a lot of areas available for different types of shooting disciplines. Shotgun, handgun and long gun. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. After today's visit I was definitely be purchasing a year long pass. It's well worth the cost of admission to have access to a safe place to shoot.

Amazing place and Home of the National 4-H Shooting Sports Championship...made my first trip this past summer for the Tournament and arrived a day early, so spent a day shooting the Sporting Clays Course...great course, very different from our home courses in Western NC...no hills or trees to speak of ...but very challenging and fun. Our NC 4-H teams did great and the whole week was Great!

Great place, little high on pricing. $16 to use the rifle range for a hour(day pass) is crazy. Great place though

Well once again the rules have changed as, they seem to do every year !!!! This year and last year, rifle and hand gun rim fire will be "practice only" ZERO awards to kids trying to learn! Unlike what we were told before last year with new leadership. We were told they would follow rimfire speed shooting rules and practiscore postings. Nope!!!! I shoot rifle only and they show I score ZERO ON HANDGUN! I'M NOT SHOOTING HAND GUN! NOT PRACTISCORE STANDARDS! Our grandchildren shoot and want to know how they do. But NOPE! THEY ARE NOT SHOOTING TO A GOAL...JUST PRACTICE. WE SPENT $300 TO SHOOT LAST WEEKEND... AND NO GOAL AVALIABLE TO US. JUST SHUT UP AND PAY US TO NOT POST YOUR SCORES PROPERLY!!! 8 YEARS AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE DO WE CAN'T GET A REAL ANSWER. TIME TO SAY NO MORE!!! HSP YOU NEED TO STOP THIS NOW!!!!!!! ENOUGH!!! Alex you didn't do what you said you would you just made it worse. $70+ in registration, 600 rounds and feul for one hour each way! Plus lunch.. we spent $300 Saturday. For what??. Not even a simple first place medal! GRAND ISLAND PARKS YOU NEED TO DO BETTER! JUST BECAUSE WE DON'T SHOOT SHOT GUN, WE DESERVE RECOGNITION!
