Super fast and friendly service. Place was busy on a Friday night. We were in town for hockey tournament. All the pub food was tasty. Fish Tacos were yummy!

Clean & fun sports bar with exceptional wings. We sat at the bar with Jackie and she ensured we had the best time with drinks and fun! Definitely a must go to in Buffalo. Also the GM seems a little grumpy cat (ha), but made sure everyone was having the best of times. Cold bevy cheers to all at Sidelines!

We stopped here for dinner on a Saturday. It wasn't very busy at the time so we didn't have to wait which was nice. Appetizer and meal came out at once which I'm never a fan of. Overall the meal was ok and the service was good.

Food was excellent. Chicken fingers are huge and the honey garlic sauce was delicious. Paige was a wonderful server and on top of things for our retirement party. She had no problem keeping separate tabs for each of us(14), which was greatly appreciated. Back room is a little loud with a lot of people but great food, atmosphere and service override the noise.

This place was great! The wings were probably the best I have ever tried. The staff was very respectful and catered to our needs. The place was pretty packed with sports fans. If you come you gotta order the sliders!

Very good sports bar food was very good for being bar food I see they tried to focus on freshness which is awesome I had fresh cut onion rings fresh cut french fries which was awesome my steak was cooked the way I liked it homemade blue cheese which is pretty cool ultimately at the end great place to have a conversation and watch sports with some great food thank you Buffalo

Came here for my son’s bday before heading to canalside. It was the same weekend as the Home Bills game vs Dallas so there was plenty of Clownboy fans in the building :) Food came out fast ,excellent and hot. I had roast beef and 5 wings. Perfectly cooked, fresh horseradish and kimmelweck roll. The rest of the table order various items and they all commented that it was great . Servers were awesome; I think I saw 2 girls running the entire floor and they didn’t miss a beat. Fast , efficient, always with a smile. Only thing I would say is that the volume of the game they had on ( they had multiple games on which was cool) was extremely loud. I struggled to hear the person next to me. I did not ask to have it turned down. That’s the only reason I rated atmosphere a 4 star. Would definitely return as they had on all the football games ( college and NFL) on multiple TV’s. Great place to watch sports ! They did have a room behind the dining area that looked like it could be rented . Couple guys in there watching a game.

Went for Girls Night out and I now want to go out every night here! The place is a vibe especially during the Sabres game!!! We started off with fried picked and chicken nachos for appetizers. The fried pickles were fried to perfection and juicy on the inside. The nachos could feed a small army. Tender chicken, salsa, jalapeños, sour cream were just perfect on top a bed of crispy tortilla chips. Honestly, we didn't need entrees BUT I AM SO HAPPY I DID!!! I ordered a double order of hot wings and they were expertly fried to a perfect crisp and so saucy! I'm not a beer drinker BUT I took a sip of the Blueberry one and it was so good! I had the margarita it was quite tasty. The service from every staff member was unmatched. They were all so polite and welcoming. I cannot wait to go back!!!

Best Beef on weck I've ever had. I'm not a native, but have grown to love this local sandwich. I try this wherever I travel across America. This is hands down the best I've ever had. The service was awesome. Made the food that much better. Go there, order the beef of we k.

My friends and I visited from out of town and hit all of the bars in Downtown. Sideline was my favorite!! Food was so yummy, cocktails were great and very reasonable $$, and the service was phenomenal. We went twice and had the opportunity to be served by Jackie and Mallory. LOVED them both. Planning another trip and will definitely be back! -The girls who bought all your sweatshirts and brought our little drink men ;)

Awesome place, went there on a Saturday night and it was a great experience. Food was great, beer was good, staff was awesome. It is a typical sports bar and if you are there to see a game, or have fun with friends, you will not be disappointed.

JUST AWESOME! Some of the best staff ever. Very friendly and just as you thought you need something they arrived. It was magical. The food was very good. Although I was not a huge fan of the onion rings. They were cooked perfectly and the batter to onion ratio was fine. I think it was something in the batter. The fries on the other hand are lights out. We had the Weck and Steak sandwich. Both excellent. Great prices too.

A big group of us went to Sidelines per a recommendation from a hotel staff member while we were attending a work event in the area. We were not disappointed. Even though we showed up sort of late and unannounced, they were easily able to accommodate us. Our server was a doll. She got our orders down perfect and always made sure everyone had a drink. We ordered a bunch of apps to share all of which were tasty. I was pleasantly surprised to see aranchinis on the menu (bacce balls). They were very good. The vibe was chill and there was a fun laid back crowd. If ever in Buffalo again I'd go back and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to grab a drink and have a good time.

Went here while in Buffalo for a concert. The Mushroom Swiss burger was great. And the beer! So crisp.

We went to Sidelines on a Sunday when the Bills were at home. I'm a Vikings fan so we asked if we could watch the Vikes at the same time as the Bills game. The manager dedicated a TV for Vikings game, gave us a good spot to watch both games. The Bills fans were gracious and absolutely fun. Server was great, attentive and nice. Food was good, too. At one point a Bills fan got a little rambunctious against the competing Dolphins fan and the manager came over and asked they be respectful. It was nice to see. Appreciate the awesome hospitality at this place.

Kiera and Jackie were friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly and I was checked in on enough times to feel welcomed but not rushed. As a traveler this was a cool little spot to take a few minutes and relax, watch some sports, and have a beer.

Service was top notch! Our waitress was awesome. Especially for a sports bar. Dinner was at the high end for pub grub. Good cocktails and love those large Blue Light pint prices. Inviting despite the state mandates (no one yelling at you when you walk in). Wish I recalled our servers name cuz she was great. (Saturday 12/11 dinner 6:00-7:30pm) Comfortable and chill atmosphere. Will be back again soon!

Stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful experience. Our server was so helpful in recommending the best dishes. My husband loved the Beef on Weck, he wasn’t a huge fan of the onion rings but they were heavy breaded and thick (he prefers the light, thin breading but that is obviously a personal preference, so I’d you like thick breaded onion rings these would be perfect). I enjoyed the grilled cheese and homemade potato chips with ranch. The only thing I would say is that the bread was extremely thick for the amount of cheese you get inside but I loved the garlic butter that they cook it in. Margarita was strong & tasty 😊 We will be back! Can’t wait to try some of the other things on the menu.

From Florida. First stop, needed a local bar. Marie was great. Food was fabulous. Defiantly recommended for a calm cool regular bar but great food.

I've walked this place 100 times today we decided to stop for lunch. Great decision. I had a reuben sandwich it was very good . The fresh cut fries were excellent. My friend had fish tacos and liked them very much. I'll be returning.

Typical bar atmosphere with a great manager and servers. The food was great! The Summer salad and the Reuben along with the French soup and the Chili are all top of the list!

First time in Buffalo, NY and I had such a great time. The wings were so exceptional, by far the best I’ve ever had compared to ones in New Jersey. Still dreaming about this. And they went down perfectly with some Labatt Blue. Great service as well, thank you!

Just okay. Notable only for the smallest potato skins I have ever seen in my life. You literally could eat each one in 2 bites! Like a finger food. Without any irony at all the waitress put this plate in front of me and I could barely stop myself from laughing. I said, how much is this again?? She says $12. With a straight face. I say "Well these are way too small". "Oh, ok...I'll send the manager over." The manager came over and explained that the potatoes they had been getting were very small lately, and she had instructed the cook to give a couple extra on the plate if the potatoes were small. I really couldn't believe what was coming out of her mouth. I mean if the potatoes are microscopic, then maybe take potato skins off the menu for that day??! Or don't charge $12 for a 4 bite- sized pieces of potato. Ridiculous.

Little disappointed in the food. Brought friends with me for the first time. Been there before never had any issues. Ordered potato skins and they came out the size of my pinky. Was told potato’s vary in size? Then the price should vary. Ordered wings in place and they were dry and over cooked. Maybe an off day. Need to be more consistent. Would love to give our waitress 10 stars. She was wonderful and very attentive.

Perfectly made burger. Excellent bun game here. The patty was cooked perfectly as well; nice and juicy. Housemade ranch too. Oh, the fresh cut fries were proof enough that this gem is a scratch kitchen. Paige kept the drinks flowing - she was super friendly as well. I frickn’ love Buffalo; even more so that I found a spot that can compete with the best burger joints over in Texas! I might move here now lol Love it… can’t wait to come back

Sidelines truly is one of the most underrated spots in the city. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Some of the best chicken fingers I’ve had, and the wings are always solid. The atmosphere is perfect for a sports bar, and there’s large tvs on every wall so there’s not a bad seat in the place for watching a game. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic Buffalo experience! 4.8/5 -BJ
