Everyone needs to try this magnificent family restaurant! This is more than just a bar. A wonderful place to bring your children to eat. They have a great kids menu, along with an adult menu that has the greatest food ever! You definitely will be taking a leftover box home with you. The nachos are to die for and to share with! Plenty of TV screens for young and old. The atmosphere is made of spectacular people. From the enthusiastic waitresses and bartenders to the old friends and neighbors that you just happen to run into!! This place is like a beehive with the greatest food on earth. From lunch specials to supper specials. Hamburger's, sandwich baskets, dinner plates, and kids meals. Y'all come down. Ya hear. I dare you. If you go home hungry, well, that's your fault!!!!

Balz was awesome as always! Quick to greet you after sitting. Friendly servers. Food is always served in a decent amount of time with no issues ( for me anyway). Servers are on top of the game and never pushy or bothersome. Yet there when you need them. Tables are bussed right away without notice. Food is always really good! Great place and have been going for 10 years. Nice comfortable atmosphere and a family type place as well. Great for after games.

Fun local Sports Bar. Great, reasonably-priced menu with many choices. The Jalapeño cheeseburger was fantastic. Plenty of screens for your games and walls are covered with signed, authentic sports memorabilia collected by the owner. FONNER KENO also available with progressive JP.

We have been here numerous times and tonight we had the worse service we have ever had, we had to go get our own drinks twice from the bartender/bar for our table of 3 people. They weren’t busy like they usually were on most nights (so no that wasn’t the reason) we had servers named megan and Mariah, Megan was so worried about what her friends in front of us were doing and what their plans were for the night that she walked by several times without stopping. And our main server Mariah came to our table to take our food order and bring our food out before we went and grabbed our drinks that had been sitting at the bar the whole time, so Mariah came to our table a total of 2 times the whole night. We decided just to go up again to bar for another round and also to grab our ticket and check out. We tipped the bartender instead, after that she walked by several times and again never stopped to check on us or apologized for “being busy” or whatever she wanted to say. Might just hit up chicken coop like usual! Good food and great services always there!!!

Service was great..food was good it was hot and tasty. I don't go there but family came in out of town had a alright time!

We had 14 people in our party. We chose this place in remembrance of our deceased Uncle who we were in town for his Celebration of Life. They accommodated us so we could all sit and visit! We will definitely eat here the next time we are in Grand Island, NE. Thanks to all the staff of Balz😊😊

This is a great sports bar! We were driving through on our way to Colorado and made a stop to watch our favorite, the Packers. The food was a great bar food and the portions were hefty! The staff was friendly. We don't live in the area but enjoyed our quick stop.

The atmosphere and service was great. Have heard great things about their food. Ate there for the first time last weekend and ordered a Swiss mushroom burger without the bun.... the meat tasted old. Had my husband try it and he agreed. He ordered a club sandwich and said his meal was good.

The food is good and the service is exceptional. If you like the game time atmosphere this place is exciting. The only negative is they seem to think the only game on TV is Nebraska and the last time I was there I was watching a game in the early stages and they changed it right as we were about to score. We are big spenders and big tippers so have a little respect for people. That's all I ask.

Good food, but when we were leaving, my family paid for the food, and the girl stopped us to ask us for her tip. 😔 I never had that happen before I understood that we were supposed to leave tips, but I never had them stop us from leaving just because they didn't leave the tip on the bill.

Who needs hotters when you have balz. You can order online or dine in. Seating yourself and your party can be challenging sometimes. There are some wheelchair accessible areas as well as a bathroom. Parking during the construction is difficult, so plan on parking at the strip mall and walking( there are no defined walkways, so be careful). The food is alright, but the salads and cold sandwiches are great. This restaurant features a sports theme and most of the time they put whatever sport you want on one of their many big screens. Keno and video poker are also great entertainment opportunity. Draft beer, domestic, and imports are available. They do have a kid's menu

Dependably good food and efficient, friendly staff. Weeknights the kitchen is open until 10:00 PM which is welcome. The hot beef sandwiches are served daily and are excellent featuring high quality, tender beef with delicious gravy. I was out of luck, however, when I tried to order a green vegetable. For a healthy option, green beans or broccoli would be a welcome addition.

As busy as they were our server did a great job even tho we were a table of 15. She had smiles all the time. Very pleasant experience and my fries were perfect; just like I ordered.

Blue collar sports bar with a great menu. Weekly specials that are delicious. Service was prompt and polite but food and check was slow. You get a lot of bang for your buck when it comes to the food. Expect to spend over an hour at lunch times.

Casual sports bar. Many, many TVs, loud atmosphere, so-so food. It was fun and entertaining with fair service - polite but covering many tables.

Grilled chicken salad was very good! Chicken was moist and tender! Vegetables very fresh! Our wait person was very good also!

Well this was my first time here tonight after many repeated trips to Bdubs. I gotta say service was aimed towards the regulars which is to be expected I suppose. Rashel my bartender looked lost from the get go at 17:45 when I asked her for the specials? She had no clue? She looked completely overwhelmed behind the bar. She did put on the Yankees game though. That was appreciated. You can't miss me. I'm in the Aaron Judge jersey. She left my food sitting for 10 min under the heat lamp at 18:30? The kitchen staff does call out the order when it's ready? She seemed unemotional and uninterested in being there the entire evening. A good bartender must show some emotion and genuine interest to be successful. Not sure if she is the usual bartender or not? So my name it Charles Patrick Alvarez. Tiffany, Taylor, and Annabelle all know me from BWW. They also smile and do their jobs which is why they've been there so long. They know me very well. They know how polite I am, and they also treat every customer the same. Your looks only get you so far. I'm not gonna bash this place with a one star review because I know it's way better. When I wanted to tab out she was nowhere to be found and when I finally did, she was unemotional and non chalant. At least say thank you for coming in tonight. That was the reason for your 10 dollar tip, as opposed to 20 or 25.. Idk if I'll be back? Smh

Ate here every night I was in town. Good portion size, friendly staff, very fast food service. Very good place to watch sports, have a few drinks, and get some bar food. Haven't had a bad meal or service yet. I always stop here when I'm in town because I know I'll have a good experience.

First time here and met some friends for lunch. Shared fried pickles which were good but nothing special. Patti Melt with fries really good. Lots of onions and cheese. Would order again. Don't think you'd go wrong with any of their food specials or sandwiches. Busy but excellent friendly service. Keno if you like that. Will go back for sure.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Grand Island. I've eaten here countless times, and it's been a good experience each time. The food is always delicious and the service is very kind. And if you haven't yet, you should try the queso and nachos.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Either sports pictures on the wall or sports on the TV. Staff was friendly! Only downer was huge pop size. One size. Just wanted a small and felt like extra large. Otherwise everything was wonderful!

We a party of ten for lunch, the service was outstanding, I was totally amazed at how fast the kitchen was getting food out. They don't skimp on portions, and the food was excellent! I would highly recommend Balz Sports Bar.
