Heated pool was NOT heated. It was COLD, along with the hot water in our room. Unfortunately, our showers were cold and the customer service at front desk was less then great when I told then about it. Breakfast was good, and overall the hotel was very clean.

This is a pretty solid hotel, easily one of the best in the Hamburg/Orchard Park area, so the bad reviews are kind of bizarre to see. The price ain’t bad. I’ve stayed at much worse places for much more money. The value here is really about on par with what it should be. The staff isn’t overly friendly, but they aren’t rude or off-putting either. They get the job done for what their job is. Our room was clean, modern enough, and we were relieved to find coffee in there because we’ve recently had a string of hotels that did NOT have coffee in the room. I think what was particularly above average was the bed. It was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve ever slept in. All the traveling we’ve ever done all over the country, dozens of different hotels, and this is a bed we’ll remember as one of the best. However, I was disappointed in the breakfast. I was really looking forward to breakfast because it seemed they have a decent one as far as free hotel breakfasts go, but there wasn’t much. The pancake machine wasn’t working, the metal containers were empty… Basically just a muffin and yogurt with coffee.

Shockingly great experience here. I didn't expect much, but the room was very clean and pretty quiet. The staff were very nice, and refunded us our last night when we had to leave early because of a crisis at home. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom soaps were really Dove, which I appreciated because I have sensitive skin. The hot breakfast was good, and they even have flavored syrups to put in your coffee. Parking was free. TV was very nice but is only cable without an obvious HDMI chord to connect a laptop. It's a bit back from the highway, so it's not the prettiest part of town, but our room looked out onto trees, so not a problem. Overall a great experience.

We were running out of energy from a long drive and decided based on reviews just to catch some z's here before rambling on. Arrived pretty late at night and the location felt kind of abandoned and creepy. Then we get inside and the person who helped us seemed severely put out by having a guest. He maybe said ten words the entire check-in process, just demanded my ID, shoved papers to sign and keycards toward me then went back to eating and watching TV. I'd hate to see how ineffective he might be if there was any kind of issue. Aside from the nighttime vibe, our stay was fine. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The pancake machine was broken at breakfast time (seems like it may just be there for decoration? staff didn't seem very apologetic when saying it didn't work). My kid was disappointed about that, but found other stuff to eat. All in all, it served its purpose. I'd recommend it for a quick, no-frills overnight stay, but would not stay for a longer one.

If you are looking for outstanding customer service and a clean room, this is the place! The hotel team is excellent. In particular, Vasu, goes out of his way to address guests' needs. If you are traveling anywhere in the Buffalo area, I highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean and the bed VERY comfortable! The showers do take a few minutes to heat up, but once they get there they too are very nice. However, the biggest plus of this hotel was the breakfast and the little lady with white hair and gold earrings working it. The breakfast had multiple options for my boyfriend who has severe food sensitivities, an accommodation we are not at all used to in a hotel breakfast, which was PHENOMENAL! And the lady working was attentive, sweet, and went above and beyond for everyone attending the breakfast. We are very happy with our stay here.

Check in was a bit of a challenge because they had a new girl who should have never been on her own at the front desk. She tried her best to get us checked in, but had a few minor issues. We get into our room and there is black hair and dirt on the bathroom and entryway floors. The shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned. My husband called the front desk and they sent a gentleman up with a small carrier of cleaning supplies and a rag. I explained to him that the floors hadn't been swept, he sighed and sprayed diluted bleach cleaner on the floor and used his foot and a rag to clean the floors. Leaving behind the hair and the dirt. There are no vending machines but there is a Walmart about 2 miles away.

This review is specifically for room 101. Heavy traffic area, slamming exit doors every 3-10 minutes. Something in the bathroom exhaust vent sounds like gunfire every 14 seconds even when off waking me up from sleeping. Occasionally a sound of someone rolling luggage across the ceiling. Tv reception was poor like a dish in a rainstorm. Found and killed 4 spiders, bathroom ceiling is developing mold, and the shower reminded me of something you’d find in a gymnasium. There was food left in the fridge from the last guy (or maybe older than that). But the bed was made and everything in order when I arrived. I have stayed here before and had a great time, this time not so much. Still better than the comfort inn next door.

I booked a king size bed for 2 adults. When I arrived late in the night, I was given a queen size. I didn't complain. The hotel gave me a receipt from $175 dollars, all taxes and fees included. I was charged $261 for the night. Despite over an hour on the phone, I was not refunded the difference. Customer service acted as though it was normal to overcharge people for rooms. They we were not willing to refund me the difference despite giving me a smaller room. Never book here or with any holiday inns ever again.

The bed is the most comfy bed I have ever had on the road. I have had multiple spinal surgeries and I slept great. Room was clean and specious. Breakfast, water and coffee included. Thanks Holiday inn Express I will stay again in the future. Ps. Dove bath liquid soap and lotion the best included.

I can not recommend staying here, because this hotel is not Veteran friendly. My ID card "was not enough" to get the military rate. I contacted the manager and he refused to honor the rate confirmed because "he said it was for government business only". This is not true, there are no government meetings here, there is no room for large meetings. Its a bait and switch, buyer beware of being charged more than promised. The rooms and service were fine, but its just not right to treat our Veterans this way and not honor the discount.

Night staff was very unorganized. Told us we didn’t have a reservation, they had already accidentally put someone with a similar name in our room. As that was being figured out someone came down saying the room they had just been given had people in it. Also at the same time a mother with 3 kids was being told they didn’t have the room that she verified she would have. Need to work on their system, looked like they used print outs of the reservations instead of something computer based, made for a lot of messy situations.

There were kids running around the halls and screaming. It was crazy all night long. The front desk guy said that hockey kids were here and it may be a little loud. It was down right horrible. The parents of these kids should be ashamed of how they are raising these kids. I can't blame the hotel. But I paid for a place to sleep. Didn't get too much of that.

Microwave was a bit dirty, missing light bulb in the side reading light. Cable /internet went out. Overall, it was a good night rest. I could hear the people above us.

The Holiday Inn provided a comfortable stay with clean rooms and friendly staff. The amenities were convenient, and the on-site breakfast options were satisfactory. Overall, it offered a pleasant experience for a reasonable price, and we had a great stay

Do you love hearing doors slam loudly, floors and walls so thin that your whole room shakes when the person above you walks, and loud trucks going by every 90 seconds on tbe highway right outside your window (despite specifically asking for a quiet room)? Then you will LOVE this place! Barely slept, horrible construction, don't recommend to anyone.
