The service was fantastic, and my waitress, Jackie, was very knowledgeable about the menu and always had a smile on her face as she was tending to her tables. My food was made and brought to my table in less than 10 minutes...everything looked, and tasted, great! The Egg's Benedict had avocado in it, YUMMY! I'll definitely come back!

It was quiet not busy. It still took a minute to get our order placed, but she was very nice. I ordered the skillet meal, and it had tater tots on the bottom. It was terrible, the tots tasted like they were refried because they had to be old or cold. The oil must have also been old. You could taste it. Yuck! I probably wouldn't go there again. The coffee was good. They had flavored creamer, so that's a plus.

I moved to Grand Island 5 years ago and Perkins has become a daily food stop over the last 2-3 years except for the COVID period. There is so much good to say about this place—so much to appreciate as a customer. The menu is important to me because I am type I diabetic and on a weight loss program. Their menu is very flexible and offers choices that perfectly meet my needs. Timeliness is important and my meals almost always cone out quickly and hot. I have been there on a weekend evening when almost every table was seated and customer traffic never once slowed down. Service never once slowed down. As customers left, the tables were quickly cleared and waiting customers were quickly seated. The whole team—cooks, servers, bussers, everyone—must be congratulated for the seamless teamwork that was so efficient under stressful and grueling conditions. The managers (GM, kitchen, night shift lead) are all very experienced and so are the servers and that experience shows. The current GM came to his position just 1.5-2 years ago and must be commended for putting together such a stellar team. If anyone is looking to explore a career in the food service industry, the Grand Island Perkins would be a great place to check out—you would receive excellent training and preparation for forward movement from very experienced and knowledgeable people.

Always great food with fast friendly service. Great place for kids and adults alike. Something for everyone!

Family loves to come here on occasion. Food is always hot and delicious. Service has always been on point.

Service was great! I wasn't a fan of the breakfast burger. My wife and son were very happy with their waffles and omelet. Also the blt was pretty good. We will go back. Also ordered a Carmel apple pie to go. Absolutely wonderful and enjoyed by the whole family!!👍

The food was on par. Comparable to Dennys or IHOP. The staff was super friendly even when you could tell they were tired and understaffed. We enjoyed our visit and the pancakes, French toast, and eggs we had.

The place was busy but our service was exceptional. The menu had many choices for breakfast.

Just had the best mother's day dinner ever. Haven't been to Perkins in years so we went for a late lunch. It was still pretty busy since it's mother's day but we were seated within minutes. The server was great thanks Brandi. The food was amazing and the dessert was to die for. The new management has done awesome things can't wait to go back

During my visit, my server Sharon, who by the way deserves so much better than the treatment she receives at that place, had a large table (9 if you include the baby) and 6 other tables, of which 5 were seated within 2-3 min of each other. Mind you, most of the rest of the restaurant is empty, with a TOTAL of 4 tables seated. Not only was no help offered to Sharon, but when the customers started to batter her constantly with complaints for having to wait for so long, STILL no help was offered. While I'm watching Sharon struggle, literally crying silently with tears streaking down her face from all the complaints being thrown at her, yet you can see the manager standing at the door talking and laughing. We could even hear our server begging for help, while also hearing the manager asking how she isn't already helping. Yup, standing around talking and laughing was really helping...... Sharon did great, her manager was horrid, and should never be in a leadership position. She has no clue what a LEADER is supposed to do, nor does she know restaurant work well enough (to allow the situation to get that bad to begin with, very bad business there.....) to direct it either.

The staff and customers were very pleasant to be around. Food was good and fast

The lady from Wichita Kansas was so nice. My husband remembered her. I haven't eaten here in years ( no reason for not eating here). I had the salmon with garlic seasoning, green beans, and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. I was highly impressed. All I can say is perkins still got it baby!!! Just need some type of rolls.. they only had biscuits.

Pancakes are still one of the best in town. Amazing service and fast hot food . Food came out with no mistakes and beautifully cooked. The manager, brandi, tonight even checked up on us to make sure everything was alright. Im a server myself, and that service was amazing. Definitely will be back. thank you for the wonderful night

I had the steak and eggs breakfast. It was very good, although I do have to admit that the steak tasted like it was processed, (not real). You know like the fake hamburger that burger King sells. It just had that texture to it.

The food is amazing and the service has been so great when I go in! Especially from the lovely Brandi A. She’s one of the MAIN reasons I go back!

Was seated quickly, couldn't decide what I wanted, waiter was patient and checked back often until I was ready to order of course the food as always was excellent we frequent the one in Grand Island and in Kearney sometimes with my son and his family because there's something for everyone's tastes 😀

The food is great but they obviously treat their workers bad and the customer service is terrible we called to fix our Uber order and this lady kept hanging up on us saying she would “put us on hold” she was not listening to us and even after we said we are allergic to sausage she proceeds to say “your order is done” and hangs up again…. All I have to say is they need to do better if they were nicer they would be a awesome place to eat at often :)

I just want to start off by saying I absolutely love this perkins location. My family and I come here often when we want a good breakfast meal or just a good home-y meal and dont feel like cooking. The food and service is usually wonderful, but tonight we didnt have a very good experience and it honestly seemed pretty shady to me, so I think Im going to leave a 1-Star review and let me explain to you why. My wife and I just got our late night to-go meals from Perkins and we are FAR less than satisfied. Not only was my food cold, but all of our meal sides are completely wrong. We customized our sides to what we wanted online, I ordered mashed potatoes and Broccoli with my pot roast, and my wife wanted breakfast potatoes with her omelet. Upon finding out they were wrong, I called them right away and politely let them know about the mistake. Her very quick response was "Well what does the ticket say?" And when I dug up our ticket, it shows all of our sides to be changed or modified to ALL ASPARAGUS. Once she knew the meals did match the receipt she gave me a quick "Have a good night" and hung up. This leads me to believe that, because we ordered an hour from closing, they modified our meal orders to get rid of what was leftover instead of making up our full order. And they used the edited receipt as an excuse so they didn't have to fix anything, like it was my own mistake. But we double, triple checked our meals before we hit Pay. ...Like seriously, I don't mind it sometimes, but who would order this much asparagus??

Food was good for Perkins. Waitress gave us wrong ticket and we did not catch it till after card was run. Had to pay again for correct ticket and wait till first one was dropped. Cashier should have confirmed that the order was correct before running card. Poor practice.

Amazing breakfast! Better than ihop for sure. Their fresh pies are so good.

Would not recommend this place. Did not have to wait to be seated. But once we were seated we sat there for half an hour and never got waited on. Servers were standing around talking to each other and never came over to get our drink order.

Service was decent, though a little pushy to order,as we had just sat down. The place seemed decently clean, until you went into the bathroom which was a wreck. No paper towels or soap. Overall, the food was decent and timely and we would go back.

Honest review of my experience, you decide for yourself. Server was all smiles and quick. Ordered chicken noodle soup and the pot roast w double broccoli. Soup came and I couldn’t put a finger on it concerning its foul taste. Chalked it up as the water must be from the platte river and moved on w/o eating it. My double broccoli and pot roast came and I thought I could forget about the soup, nope! Broccoli was not seasoned or steamed in any manner. Tasted the same as out of the bag and microwaved. Pot roast was left over for one or maybe two days prior and again, just nasty. Ate one floret and two pieces of meat and called it quits. I gave my nice server lady a $20:to cover the cost of the meal and the tip. She said she couldn’t charge me since I didn’t eat anything and I believe her smile to be genuine. I took my $20 back and found a $5 in my wallet and told her thanks, she made more of a tip by being a human and not a troll. Perkins GI served nasty food, awesome service but I will not return.

The food is wonderful. The coffee needs to be stronger for me but it is what it is. The only thing is it was cold inside.

I had a chicken salad. The lettuce was slimy and I had to pick it out. The waitress came by and asked how it was. I showed her the slimy salad, and she said, " Other than that, is everything alright ?" I kid you not !! Then she rang the bill up wrong and when I got in my car and checked it. She had charged me less than half of the bill, so I was glad. I will not be coming back.

Service was great, the food tasted weird like the fry oil was old/had burnt food in it

The manger calls Ann was giving us very bad customer service, and we also saw her yelling at the workers in front of the customers. When we went to pay the lady snatched the card from us, and began to tell us "because they start to change everything" so I ask for her name and she just said “I’m the manager”, she continually said that and she did not give me her name and she also yelled at me that she didn't care if I reported it. I would like that you guys do something about it because it is disrespectful the way she treat the workers of the place like that and it is disrespectful to the customers that we are going to eat there.

Everytime I come in I request to be seated in Ms Brandi’s section and everytime I’m told I can’t request my server…since when??!! So I leave and don’t eat there because I come there to see a great server and I’m denied being seated in her section!!

First time in Nebraska and ate here with family of 10+ people. Service was quick and accurate. I ordered the breakfast burger which was very good. Great Job Perkins
