Was told by co-worker about this place.The menu is easy to look at. The plate of food is proportional. Big meals all around. I got the tacos asada keep in mind I didn't know they weren't street taco size but a bit bigger, but that was ok with me because they were still delicious. I also ordered the quesadilla which was also bigger than expected but still not complaining. If you want a good size meal and friendly staff come to this place, it's worth it.

This place is legit. The owners are from L.A., where you can find some of the best Mexican food in the US. It's the best I've had in a long time. We stopped on our way across the US. It's hard to say which tacos I liked the best. For me it was the shrimp and beef tongue, but they were all good.

We just visited Mexico, and on our way back to Ohio, we visited this restaurant after hearing a recommendation. Very good! Was pleased with the authenticity of the taste and food selection. Reminded me of the food we had enjoyed in Mexico. Recommended!

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in grand island. I remember when this place was just a good truck, and it has always been my favorite place. I couldn’t even wait to take a photo until after I’d taken a bite out of my tacos!

Where do these good reviews come from? I stopped to get lunch to go ...what a disappointment. I ordered the steak fajitas plate. It waa more like simmered in fajita sauce. The meat was soo tough and gristle i spit out about half. Beans... plain from a can, rice... no flavor. Only half a slice of a tomato, hardly any bell peppers or onions. Complete waste!

Every time I come back to GI, I always get the carne asada wet burrito. It is the BEST. Very nice, friendly owners and employees. I love it.

The meat is perfect! And customer service is pretty cool. Most places are stingy with the meat but they give you a good grip, check it!

Was wanting to try something different for supper, pulled up Yelp and Tacos Las Palmas came up. Family made a stop and WOW! I had burrito and can honestly say it was the BEST burrito that I have ever had. Outstanding food! I'd highly recommend it!

The food is very good. I think the tortillas for the soft tacos are very dry but the sopes are delicious. I gave this place 3 stars because someone was in the restaurant vaping. There was no sign saying that was allowed. A person like me with health issues reacts to those chemicals.

I got recommended this place by a friend. I'm glad they told me about this place, or else I wouldn't have found a new favorite restaurant. The food is always made by order and feels like you're eating food at home. Wholesome, well made food. Places like this are hard to come across these days.

Went there to get a burrito and a torta. The torta look as someone put there fingers though the bread. Taco were dry no sauce bare. The burrito was good but with everything else It didn't meet my expectations

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. We stopped for lunch. Our experience was excellent! We ordered steak tacos, a steak sope, beans, rice, and an horchata to drink. Everything was very good, especially the tacos! The tacos were exceptional! I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Chips and salsa are really good! Great service, friendly people, food was great! I love the hot sauce and tortillas especially!!
