This is a lovely little park and offers a nice walk around the park to stretch your legs .. 0.75 miles (?). The neighborhood is made up of attractive homes with various architecture styles.

I just moved here from out of state and was impressed by the beauty of Hastings Heartwell Park! It is well maintained and manicured!

Took a walk through the park. My family and I started at the spillway and walked along the waters edge. We saw 3 snapping turtles, 7 ducklings, 3 adult ducks, and minnows. There were more birds on the pond also. Some of the trees in the park that provide abundant shade are the beautiful old cottonwood trees. Many of them make our state proud as the cottonwood is our state tree. There were people utilizing the park as many people were out walking around, fishing, watching their kids in the splash pool, or playing on the equipment, or just sitting and enjoying the evening. The drawback to the stroll was the amount of trash in the water. We humans as a society need to do a better job of cleaning up after ourselves. So ask yourself how can I help keep the park beautiful for all to enjoy, but don't stop there. Do your part!

I finally went to this park, and it's my new favorite park! It has a good area to walk, and a nice toddler playground area, along with baby 2 baby swings next to eachother. Which is harder to find in Hastings I've noticed.

Nice little park to walk around in, beware bird poo. There's a ton of ducks to feed if you like, and a nice swing set and playground

Love this park! This is the best park ever, even as a child I loved it and as a senior citizen I love how well it has been taken care of. Hastings needs to be proud of their park. It is so relaxing, beautiful, and nice wading pool for little kids.

The greatest of all parks in Hastings. A gorgeous little lake Park in the middle of town and a perfect stop for a romantic visit if you're looking to enjoy a quiet night with a loved one.
