Awesome experience, the pool area blew me away. Absolutely beautiful hotel, staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comphy and the free breakfast was simple but delicious. Definitely would stay here again, worth every penny. Would be a great place for a family to stay!

Great spot to stay. Indoor pool, restaurant and bar, decent sized rooms, great place to go if you have kids. The restaurant got slammed when we were there and they had a tough time getting out of the weeds. The manager didn't want to field our questions because she was so far behind so there's room for improvement. But the place was clean, offered brand name soaps, and generally had a comfortable safe feel to it. If you like fried pickles, the pickle fries are some of the best I've had anywhere.

I am a local from Grand Island and had girl friends coming to visit from my college town (multiple hours away). Booked the hotel on a third party site, no problem. Came to check into our room, everything was great, had our reservation. The lady asked for my ID and the first words that come out of her mouth was “she’s a local” excuse me? She had Wayne, I assume the manager, come to finish the conversation seeing it was going to be a problem that I was from GI. He said it was against their policy to let a local book and stay in the room. So he denied me. So, we asked and tried to come up with alternate solutions (like putting my friends, who came, are from out of town under the reservation) He simply chuckled and seemed sarcastic. Wayne was ABSOLUTELY NO HELP AND HAD NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Didn’t give us help in booking another hotel, barely even gave us information on this “policy.” Absolutely ridiculous, never knew it was a problem 2 years ago for NYE and wanted somewhere special to stay and it wasn’t a problem, or when I was a little girl, renting and staying for a birthday party. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. They will sweep your reservation right from under you, leaving you with no place to stay. Nonetheless, he turned away money, so we have no problem taking our money else where. I DO recommend the new Comfort Suites on S Locust though.

The hotel is seen as classy and well built it’s not. The pool area is nice an all nice parking but the room I was given no shampoo body wash nor had wash but they sure did leave me a few bugs throughout the bathroom and an absurd thing is they give you a charge of 250$ if you leave the room too dirty??? I wouldn’t book again

Pretty clean. The restaurant had good food. Accommodating by gettinge check in super early. I dropped a star because the TV didn't work. They did send someone up to attempt to fix it. But nope. I usually wouldn't have cared. But I just wanted to relax and unwind after 12 hours of driving. Would have enjoyed a movie.

We traveled for 10 days and stayed in a lot of different hotels along the way. This Ramada gets my second highest rating of the trip. It was clean and fresh but not very modern. The indoor pool and hot tub where clean. Breakfast was decent. Parking was good even with a pickup truck and a trailer. It's a decent value...

We got a room for the state fair, and were not disappointed! The room was reasonably priced, especially compared to rates we've paid for less accommodations. Right away, we were surprised to learn the room has a sliding door that leads to the parking lot. That made for easy unpacking. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The pool area is wonderful! Water temp was perfect and the hot tub was also nice. Hot breakfast left a bit to be desired, but would absolutely stay again.

I've been using this hotel for many years. when I say many, I mean 20. Throughout the years, it hasn't changed. It has one of the best pool and activity areas. The rooms are adequate and spacious. The breakfast buffet saves you a ton of morning money. It's also in a good location relative to the downtown / fonner park area. rooms are affordable, and they have an attached bar and grill with good food and service all their own.

This hotel was a HUGE upgrade from the hotel we stayed at last year! The beds were SO comfortable, the indoor pool and hot tub were AMAZING and the pool side activities were great! The service was a little ruff at first but eneded up being great! The complimentary breakfast was really good, a lot more options then other hotels have. LOVED the room we stayed in had a sliding back door so it was only a few steps from our car to the inside of our room, made loading and unloading extremely fast! The hotel was in a nice location from our destination. I didn't care for the bathroom being so small, or you can hear the doors slamming in the morning but I think everything else makes up for it!! I would highly recommend staying at this hotels!, I know we definitely will!!!!!

We rented the grand ballroom for a card/collectibles show. The show was on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but we were able have access to the room for several days before, which allowed us plenty of time to set up. The sales/banquet manager, Selina Gregory was very accommodating and checked in with us numerous times to see if we needed anything. We did rent a bunch of 8 foot tables from another company as the venue did not have the number we needed, however they did provide us with all the table cloths and chairs, as well as numerous other tables that they did have available. The front desk/office people were quick to help us when we needed something. We got great feedback from all the vendors, and hope to do another show here in the future. Thanks for a great experience!!

This place is absolutely horrible. The treatment children got was absolutely disgusting. The cops came, she literally brought the cops pool side to YELL at children for jumping into the pool together. She physically PUT her hands and pushed one of our parents for our team.. Turned the lights off with children still present in the pool as well as an infant. Screaming in faces of children & ripping the ping pong paddles out of children’s hands for playing and the ball going over the wall. They took my nephews toy & refused to give it back. (Which he never got). There was no team rivalries at our hotel, it was the staff versus the families having fun. The lady working continuously lied and berated our coaches & tried to get them in trouble with the head of Nebraska USA wrestling. The one night staff young man supported our team and had their back up against a wall and still did what was right. If we could rate the staff 0 stars we would.

This hotel was a perfect stopping place along our vacation route. It had everything we needed to get a good night's sleep before hitting the road again.

Not a bad place to stay, a little on the higher priced side for a Ramada. Room was clean and everything was in order, housekeeping did a great job. Bathrooms were stocked with Dove products, which was a nice touch. Rooms had a bit of a stale smell, could be due to the amount of rain and humidity. After turning the air on, it cleared out nicely. Continental breakfast wasn't as good as we had hoped it would be, might be room for a little improvement. The lack of an elevator makes it hard to get to the 2nd floor, if you have kids or someone who might have trouble with stairs, ask for a main floor room.

Comfy bed, friendly staff, pretty nice hot breakfast buffet included in room stay. Right off main road but seemingly safe town or at least part of town. Would stay again if I was traveling through.

I've stayed here many times over the years and its a great hotel! Parking lots are well lit. Swimming pool area is always clean. Breakfast is wonderful! Rooms have always been clean and we leave feeling relaxed and refreshed! 5 stars all the way!

The hotel is in a great location close to the fair ground. We made a reservation, very thought to put us on the first floor. Wide parking space for a big truck. Place is a little dated, but they did a good job remodeling. Nice swimming pool, whirlpool, and gaming for kids. Great breakfast and a nice eating area extended to the pool area. It's a bonus that the room has two sinks. It's clean and a good place to stay.

Clean and comfortable beds, rooms and hallways/common areas were clean and inviting. Breakfast could have been better (buffet staff wasn't the greatest about keeping things stocked) but overall okay for a complementary breakfast.

Right on one of the main streets with plenty of dining options nearby. Attended for a conference. The staff were all friendly and helpful with some of the technology issues that are bound to arise. Meals were simple, but tasty.

This motel is not family friendly. We felt harassed by staff by swimming pool and golf. Told the grandkids which weren’t never unattended by us adults they couldn’t jump into pool that is 8 feet deep. Was too noisy playing billiards and told people to turn down music when we couldn’t hear it a few feet away. We couldn’t sit in any area after 10:00pm and play games and socialize. Never going back. There were very few people staying there and now we know why.

Rooms were clean, breakfast is decent, pool and rec area was clean. Check in lady was great and helpful. The night bellhop and I believe this lady was a manager was pretty into what we all were doing. We booked 3 rooms for a family gathering and felt they were overprotective and needed to know what we were doing. Pool and rec area shut down at 10, even on a weekend. Even the gathering spaces we were chased out of at 10. If you are staying overnight just to sleep and as a couple or single, I highly recommend. If you are a family and wanting some relaxing time and want to let your kids play, I recommend going elsewhere where you are not watched and judged and commented on your every move.

Worst service EVER. We had a locked in a blocked rate and discounted price for my stepdaughter’s wedding for 5 days, verified the price of $60/night before driving 10hrs. We show up and they can no longer honor the price the employee gave us because she no longer works there. After calming my husband down and he remained silent out of anger, the staff continued to antagonize him as he told her several times to please stop speaking to him. Our entire wedding party is now looking for reservations two days before the wedding since our prices doubled. Thanks Ramada!

Our company held an event recently and last minute changes were required. Ashley in the catering dept was responsive and very helpful in making these big changes. Service was fantastic, guests reported that the steak was best in Grand Island and would be back for more. Thanks Ashley and Ramada staff!

Uncomfortable stay. Staff harassed us about the non-registered guests coming to the hotel for dinner with us, and inviting their 2 kids to swim with our registered 4 kids. We were in town specifically to see these friends/family, they are the reason we were at the hotel. There is a policy to prevent large numbers of people/parties(understandable) , but this was not a party and staff was made aware. I was told I was "flagged" and if the unregistered kids swam they would be asked to leave. (Staff made it sound like this hotel has an issue with residents of the town sneaking in to use the pool and others hosting parties, but that's not my problem. That wasn't the case here, and the hotel didn't need to take that out on our group) Eventually grandma came in and told front desk staff that she would leave at night and stay at the home of those we were visiting, so the 2 local kids could be registered guests and swim. The staff agreed, but it shouldn't have gotten to the point of grandma offering leaving. We requested adjoining rooms. Staff said before arrival that would be accommodated, it was not. After I reached out to corporate regarding our stay, manager Rhonda reached out and gave me a half refund and half apology. She sent me a security camera screenshot of a member of our group in the pool, list of policies, told us we misunderstood, said grandparents and families are always welcome, and rambled on. She's unprofessional, lacks integrity and according to corporate, there is noone to hold her accountable. I did meet one hotel staff member that was friendly during the stay. And we found the bar/restaurant staff to be very friendly as well. We enjoyed the service, food and drinks.

Is the G.M. there new? She has horrible people skills. Felt like she was policing us the whole time she was around us. We went to load some stuff in our trunk from our shopping, she dropped what she was doing in this random hall to come ‘check what we were doing’. I flat out called her a creep….mind your own business lady! Very passive aggressive and rude. I love this spot, but if that lady is gonna be emitting herself in my relaxation time/hard earned money, I’ll be finding a new spot….wonder how she is with the staff….whom by the way, has always been great!

Rooms are clean. Mattress is more firm than I like. Was part of a group and the banquet facility and the hospitality room were great for our group.

There for A Truck Driving competition in GI. Rooms were great, nice and clean. Breakfast was buffet style, and good. Location is great for any event, right down the street from Fonner Park. I will stay here again.

It's a clean place bathroom is a bit small but that's ok the main problem I had was the room design one whole wall is a window facing the pool witch might not be that big of a problem unless you have a small child like me did in which case then she's going around trying to pull the curtains open. So you really have to be careful where you're changing your clothes another problem I had. I'm in the reservation's over the phone. Then I got there and they almost turned me away because I'm under 21. I was almost not able to get the room that I had reserved because of my age which I was not told on the phone

Wonderful staff! I spent a week there with a large convention, and despite being short-staffed, they managed to keep everything running smoothly. The food was delicious, front desk and housekeeping efficient and everyone was very polite.
