    I would give this place zero stars if I could. My husband and I had to switch rooms because the first one was dirty. There were dirty sheets tucked behind a chair, the shower curtain was in the tub, the floors hadn't been vacuumed so there was white stuff everywhere, the bed wasn't even fully made. We asked for our money back because we were just going to find somewhere else to stay but they didn't want to give our money back and offered us a different room. Since it was so late my husband and I decided to try the new room, so we switched to a new room and it was better, but the floors were still dirty. We didn't get toilet paper so my husband had to go get some from the front desk. The worst part about this new room was that we couldn't lock the dead bolt on the door because it was not lined up properly or something, which also caused wind to come through and it got really cold in the room!!!! The only lock that the door had was the key lock. NOT SAFE!! The next morning: it was 2 hours until check out and as I was getting ready the housekeeper knocked and then immediately tried to come...thankfully we put the chair in front of the door because of the dead bolt not locking; therefore, that blocked the person from coming in. My husband tried to get our deposit back when we were leaving and the owner tried to tell him that we didn't pay a deposit because she didn't see one. I WOULD NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE UNLESS YOU ARE ON A SERIOUSLY TIGHT BUDGET!!!!

    This hotel should be closed; we actually had to stay in a different hotel in Grand Island and the front dest receptionist was surprised they hadn’t been closed yet. There were huge stains on the floor, the bed sheets and towels weren’t clean, the air conditioners in our rooms were broke, there were bugs behind the curtains, and the glass window pane could be removed from the window frame very easily from the outside, and the windows don’t lock. We inquired about a refund, since we looked in the rooms and decided to stay elsewhere and the receptionist said she “didn’t know how to do that.” All this after quoting us on a suite that wasn’t actually available, meaning we had to play double the price we were told originally, for two rooms instead.

    I would not even give them a 1 star rating if it was possible.. We were given a room that had mold on the curtain and in the heat registers below the window. The room was also not clean at all. There was trash all over the floor and even someones medicine out in the open on the floor. The guy in charge that night was very apologetic and moved us to their sister hotel in Grand Island. We got to that room and the heater did not work at all. To make it worse we had our baby with us. All motels and hotels were booked that weekend so they said we would not be charged at all because of all we dealt with. We were still charged and I have called 4 times now just for them to tell me that we should have never been told we would get our money back!

    This hotel is owned by a foreigner who only identifies himself as "Mike;" and who obviously does not live in the area. The night staff was friendly, and the room LOOKED nice...but in the middle of the night, my wife woke up to find bedbugs in our bed. I had bedbugs...once, and only once. It was the single worst nightmare of my life. I swore it would never happen again. So we ran to Walmart, got a food sealer and bagged all we could, went to the laundry, dried all our clothing, and left everything else; over $400 worth of all brand new things. I called "Mike" (the number came from a sign posted on his door), and left him a message. It was not rude, but it made clear my intent to sue his hotel for damages. It took us nearly 7 hours to recover from this, and a lot of cab rides (I wasn't about to get in my car until I knew there were no bugs possible). Mike then called back and threatened to file charges on me for "Threatening him;", because I had said I was going to sue him. Upon calling him again, he had blocked my number. Whereas the staff was helpful, "Mike" certainly was not...and the bedbugs weren't either.

    The bathroom was not very clean. There was piles of dirt and rocks on the floor between the bed and the windows and between the beds and the nightstand. When we opened the door to the room, I was hit with a nasty smell. The guy at the front desk was nice and polite and he made sure to give us a room that the a/c and tv worked in. But the rooms were just not clean. The fitted sheet on one bed wouldn't stay on the bed and the fitted sheet on the other bed was so big it was wrinkled up in the middle of the bed.

    Our first room wasn't great. Lots of stains everywhere, cable didn't work, our beds didn't have a blankets, my daughter dropped 2 towel into the bath and when we asked for more they responded saying they "don't got no extra towels". After calling for someone to fix the Cable twice and no once came I just asked to switch rooms. Second room was better and more comfortable, only complaint was that the air unit was either stuck on super hot or freezing. It was better than sleeping in my car but I would not stay here again.

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Literally the worst motel I have ever been in my life. The guy at the front desk was nice but the rooms were disgusting. We walked in the room and the floor was covered in dirt. The blankets and pillow cases had grease, dirt, grime, and all other kind of stains on them. The table, tv stand, and nightstands were covered in sticky residue and dirt. The bathroom had not been cleaned and had dirty towels pilled in the corner from the previous guest. The trash can was still completely filled with trash. The sink had dirt, toothpaste and hair still covering it. The shower had grime stains and hair still in it. LITERALLY THE ROOM HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN WHO KNOWS HOW LONG. Or perhaps by a blind person. The only reason you could tell it had been "cleaned" was because the beds were made with dirty sheets. We took one look around the room and decided the room was clearly not liveable, and booked a last minute room at the CLEAN Motel 6 an hour and a half away where I am writing this review, tonight. I don't even care I had to pay for another hotel room, I just did not want to spend another minute in that room. I am honestly still in shock that this motel is still in business and open in it's current state.... DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. To the the owners, hire a competent cleaning staff...

    This motel leaves a lot to be desired. If possible I'd give it less than one star. Internet only works in the office; none in your room even though it was promoted to be available in each room. Cleanliness was very questionable. Room had not been vacuumed recently. No bath mat. Supposedly this was a non-smoking room, but someone must have been smoking nearby and ithe smell migrated to our room. The breakfast area needed to be cleaned and the frig was especially gross with spilled sticky juice all over inside. We will never stay here again and recommend anyone else avoid it also.

    This hotel always was one of my home favorites for cheaper rates not scummy and very friendly staff!! It’s now however under new ownership!! The new staff has done some remodeling and again that is fairly nice but one of the staff members specifically sandy I believe (older woman) is not pleasant in any way shape or form!! I would NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN used to pay week after week after week now id never stay there another night in my life!! On top of it all the clientele has gotten a lil rough and the phone in our room and microwave didn’t work!! Overall not impressed!
