First of all, I had no problems with the owners. They seemed nice enough. The breakfast was typical hotel food. The hotel itself, however, was not what we expected from either the reviews or the cost. It is old, tired, and creaky, and nothing seals well enough to keep the smells or sounds of human traffic at bay. The entire building smelled... strange... and though our room was non-smoking, the smoke from a few doors down easily made its way into ours. In addition, the bed was probably the least comfortable bed that we have experienced in a long time. To say that our sleep was less than restful would be an understatement. We paid a little more than $75 for the room, looking to save some money. If that's what you want, that's what you'll get. However, my advice to weary travelers looking for a place to rest is to drive the few extra miles into Grand Island and pay for a more expensive hotel.

This place is good and the owners clearly care. The rooms were clean. Dated (90s) but good. I've stayed at 200 to 300 a night and have stayed in worse. The only complaint I have is I'm a non-smoker but my wife isn't and the room smelled like cigarettes. The beds are stiff but fine when you've been on the road for a long time. Bottom line stay and support this hotel so they can remodel and step into 21st century!

Staff is great. Rooms are always clean and location is right next to a large truck stop with a full restaurant, subway, and little Caesars. Best price in the grand island area. The pet surcharge is only 10 dollars. They have smoking and non smoking rooms available and a lot of parking. Area is also safe for parking. Stayed here a long time for work and no issues at all.

Staff was fantastic! The lady at the front was very helpful and really wanted me to have a great experience! It definitely wasn't anything spectacular but the room was clean, and you can't beat the price! I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

We used to stay here often due to location, price, and pet-friendliness. We haven't traveled in the past four years, and returned to be disappointed with new surcharges for pets, and literally threadbare linens and old pillows. Due to the location, it is still desirable, but less than it once was.

It's one of the few places that still has a smoking room as far as I know but I guess there's only one, so no late check out time. As I'm sitting outside waiting for my ride. Breakfast is waffles, toast, raisin bran, corn flakes, juice and coffee. I-80 is very audible in room. Gas station with beer and liquor within 150 ft. 1st floor isn't key carded to the inside but they have an inside and outside door. Curtains black out the room well if you weight them down on the ac. Lastly booking a room was slow. Then I couldn't get my key card to work. Went to the front desk then they tried it and it worked after a few tries. Then I went to get ice and couldn't get back in. Went to the front desk again had to wait for them to just try again to avoid making a key so I had to leave the door proped whenever I left the room. It was around nine pm after working 12 hours and it got to 103°f It was frustrating.

Clean room. Very Friendly staff. Price was good. Right off the interstate. Drains were slow in tub and sink and faucet leaked a little, but nothing major. Would recommend.

First we got a smoking room. DON'T try it! Sticky grimy floor and carpet. Dark, dingy, no wifi, double bed. Complained at front desk and were immediately put in nonsmoking. Light, clean, wifi, king size bed.

Absolute gem for 3 tired travels in the late night blast through Nebraska. Service was excellent. Bed was comfortable and hotel was quiet.

My wife reserved a room here on Expedia. When she got to the hotel, they canceled her reservation and left her without a place to stay.

I checked into this place at 1am to try to get off the road and get some rest, they lady at the front was extremely helpful. When I arrived into my room the carpet was soaked and the bed sheets and blanket were also wet! the room smelled like someone had smoked a pack of cigarettes for the last 30 years. After being in this room for five minutes I decided it would be better to just sleep in my car, on my way back to the font dest to ask for a refund, a man was hanging out side my door on his phone just half drunk and hollow eyed. The lady then told me her and her husband owned the place and that he does the maintenance around the building(shocker I know). So she as promised would refund the card. as two weeks went by I noticed the money hadn't been refunded, so I decided to call down and see what was going on. A man answered (who I'm assuming was her husband) told me no lady works there and they don't do refunds. Which would have been fine if the lady didn't tell me they did. the man was super rude!!! would rather sleep on the side of the road then go to this place! hopefully this comment saves some one the headache of dealing with this place!!

My son stayed here during Husker Harvest Days 2023. He booked his room in advance. When he got there he was told that the room he booked was not available. He is in a wheelchair & he requested a handicapped room. They tried to give him a regular room. The bathrooms in regular rooms are smaller & he wouldn't be able to use the bathroom. The person in the handicapped room WAS NOT handicapped. Then they did finally get him a handicapped room. The next day he finds an EXTRA CHARGE on his card. When he called about the extra charge he was told it's because his chair made marks on the floor. He tried to get this fixed but was treated very rudely over the phone. I would recommend to never stay there. Very poor service.

This is a working man's motel, 2 doors 1 from outside and 1 from inside on the main floor. With that being said, you are going to find some unexpected guests in your room, such as a pill bug or 2. Overall, room was clean, and the continental breakfast was satisfactory. Cost wise, they advertise at 70 ish per night but ad some sur. Charge, which made it more like 90 ish per night.

Sketchy place, did not feel safe. Was here with husband for work. The housekeepers offer the male guest sexual favors for money.....just sketchy in every aspect......
